“Parking: Sweet little cafe where they take their craft super seriously. Each drink on the menu is thoughtfully created. The owners are also the baristas and are extremely friendly. There are only a couple indoor seats and then a few picnic tables outside with umbrellas. It’s hidden away but definitely worth the trip. Support local coffee artisans!“
“Cool place. It was absolutely packed on a Saturday morning but I wasn't in a hurry so I waited in the line for about 20-25 minutes to see what the hype is about.I bought a bag of beans for $18 and they were very fresh - roasted the day before I bought them and made great home espresso. The mocha I bought was very tasty too. I did not get any food - I wish they had prices on the pastries in their display! Overall I'm happy with the experience but I hope to return when it's less crowded!“
“There are new specialty lattes and so I went with the iced blackberry vanilla latte with whole milk. I'm pretty used to blackberry lattes, I make them at home. This one was very sweet. I probably wouldn't even order this drink again, even at half sweet. This costed $6. I'll stick with my iced honey lavender lattes next time! They have a bathroom here, you have to ask for the 'key'. It's so clean and smells great inside. The woman working was soo sweet and friendly.“

Super clean with a good amount of tables, and seats next to outlets which makes the perfect study spot! The coffee itself is amazing and the service is always great and quick. “One of the best coffee places in San Diego. I am on a bandwagon to try different roasters in San Diego and came across this place. It hasn’t left me disappointed yet. Visited this location multiple times. I love their campfire mocha and cappuccino. My experience with their special Cortado was not upto par. It turned out a bit sour, but the barista was gracious enough to change it to a different drink. Ask the server for their recommendations if you are not sure about what to get. They will suggest you per your preferences and you will not be disappointed. The cafe has limited sitting area but plenty of parking space.“

“Really laid back coffee shop with a ton of outdoor seating. Birdrock has some of the best coffee anywhere and this location is the least crowded of the ones I have been to. They are sandwiched between a French bakery and a high end donut shop so be warned that you may be tempted to supplement your coffee. Staff is friendly and service has been quick for me.“

“Piston Pete's coffee is excellent. I recently tried their dark roast & found the flavor to be strong, but smooth. We purchased their Keurig pods for us and the beans for a friend who makes his coffee every morning. He actually sent some to his father up in San Francisco. We will try their medium roast next.“

“Place was hopping when i got there Thursday morning around 10ish, dog friendly, quite a few people brought their dogs, food was solid i had a croissant breakfast sandwich. I also had the sandpiper which came with latte art hearts.I went there to do some homework, (free wifi) and had a great experience.20 min walk to the Torrey Pines hiking spot and close to the beach!Parking might be the only thing worth considering, i just drove around a couple minutes and found street parking“
“I throughly enjoy this establishment, the barista Kit provided superb service the bird and the rock were expertly shown in the latte art in the same way that an interpretive dance expresses the deepest emotions of one’s soul. Speaking of soulful the barista (Kit) gave a riveting reaccountment of how they acquired their fabulous jewelry that left us in tears. It was most fabulous and I shall most certainly be coming back with a smile creeping upon my face.“

“I'm not huge in medium roast coffee but I love the vibe and music. On days I don't feel like working at home I come sit and work at a table here. I always order the just drip (I like my coffee black) I wish they had a lighter roast but it is what it is. The vibe and music is worth coming for“

“I’m glad I found this place, it was so cozy and nice. I met my friend for coffee and checked out this coffee shop. I got their recommended coffee which is their signature - Kingslayer. It is delicious, very cinnamony with a slight of agave sweet touch. My friend ordered a vanilla lavender, she likes it as well. It was a nice place, I’ll definitely come back to try other flavors.“

“August Stop 26We came to potentially buy some beans that we had at a relative's house that was so good. Although we were unable to find the beans we wanted, we still had a great time just reading and sipping on some drip coffee. This place does get bursts of busyness, but most people take it togo. The area is very nice and great for doing work or reading. Would probably come back if we lived nearby and it wasn't as pricy.“
“I just saw this place and the owner on iiMPCT MEDIA. The owner was so delightful and friendly. He talked and talked about how he roasts his own beans for his two store and you can tell it is his passion. When you love something the way he does, you know it is going to be perfect or he won't sell it. The shop looks amazing, clean, and nice to be in. Order a cup to try and then buy a pound or two. They sell by the pound and will grind it for you if you dont have a grinder. Hopefully they start selling online soon, but he did say that he mails out coffee to regular buyers all over the country. Call up and ask, maybe they will mail you some too.“
