New American Restaurants in Redondo Beach, CA

“At first glance, you probably thought Google Maps directed you to the wrong address. There's no way this is the correct burger restaurant, but looks can be deceiving. With a sketchy-looking "order inside" sign on the wall outside, you walk into the liquor store and see this hole-in-the-wall burger joint.

I ordered the classic hamburger and regular fries to be on the safe side, but I wish I had been braver to try out the other options. The total costs for the hamburger and fries came out to be ~$20 with a tip. The hamburger felt like a homemade hamburger fresh from off the grill. The fries were a little salty but goes perfect with the ketchup. We ate outside on the tables since there weren't any available seats inside or public bathrooms that we saw, although I could be wrong.

Summary:
- BATHROOM. I didn't see one but there could be one inside the liquor store for customers only.
- CLEANLINESS. The presentation of the food was good. Nothing spilled and all utensils were in the bag.
- COSTS. $ Decently priced for the quality.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff were very fast. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out.
- FOOD QUALITY. The ingredients are fresh and super tasty. Nothing frozen, generic, or bland. Something about hamburgers make me nostalgic.
- FOOD QUANTITY. A decently sized meal.
- WAIT TIME. About a 10 minute wait.“

“Great local spot in a great area. Wonderful staff. Our server and the managers were very attentive. And when we had an issue with some thing, they remedied it right away. The food was much better than my memory of it the last time I was there. I hadn't been here in a long time, but I will definitely be putting this on my regular rotation now. The prices are decent and the food is solid and it's an easy place to go with two people or eight people. “

“I just got married this past July at one of the LA City Parks venues. They only use a couple of vendors for bar services. We shopped around all three options and Made By Meg offered the best selection of alcohol and at the best price. It was super easy getting quotes and adjusting things as need be. They even worked with us to get a special IPA offering from a microbrewery. The bartender did a great job at the day of the event and was very attentive to everyone's drink needs. Would use them again if we have another party!“

“Visited this place with Wifey, things were good but not great. I think our server had a bad day or something. There were two males assisting our server who offered great service with smiles. Our female server did not warm up until it was time to pay our bill. We still tipped her because we know folks need to work 2x harder in the current economy. The food was good and the portions were great. I will come back and give them another try. Lastly, the bright spot here is their patio which is very relaxing. As you dine, great views of PCH street action - despite this round of ok service, I'll be back!“

“First visit and was not dissatisfied. Heard about the place through friends and the Yelp reviews backed up the claims. Nice gem of a place… I had the Protein Scramble and my wife had the Waffles! All the food was amazing and made to order🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 A comfortable lounge environment, tasty food, and great staff making sure we have everything we need.
