i came solo with a book on a saturday around 5pm and it was such a lovely date to take myself on. nobody bothered me. music was vibey. lighting was sensual. 10/10 would recommend :)“

“Once I am in this classy bar I feel I have walked into a jewel box - exposed brick as a backdrop to neat looking liquor bottles lined up in rows ; it’s a down to earth bar in what can sometimes feel like a very bourgeoise neighborhood. Barkeep is friendly and makes a good gin and tonic , and also Negroni! Love the Transamerica building opposite this place and try Italian Tricolor restaraunt next to this bar. And now the Veejus restaraunt is opening up next to this bar.“

“I really never have enjoyed tasting menus….but Tiya’s tasting menu fully changed my opinion on them. 4/6 dishes were things I probably wouldn’t have ordered on a regular menu so getting to try these dishes was a treat. We supplemented the tasting menu with the chicken gushtaba and the shrimp. They were both so good but the gushtaba was outstanding….Think a chicken meatball in fondue.

Rob was both friendly and attentive to everything going on. When a guy was getting too drunk and too pushy with me he quickly noticed and kept an eye on the situation and let me know he was there to help when I made it clear the guy was going too far he kicked out the guy and stood between him and I to keep me and the girl behind me safe.
