“I definitely enjoyed the Mango Fried rice dish along with the garlic noodles. Had Thai Iced Tea, which is always a treat. I did call this order in for pick up. When I got there I had to wait a minute, because they were busy but it wasn't long. They gave me an extra Thai iced tea on the house, I didn't need it. Yet it shows the type of business I'm eating at. The ambiance is very welcoming. The art work on the walls of the culture is beautiful. Would recommend friends/family to come and try this place out.“

“Cool place (love the decor/style), nice staff & tasty food. Some dishes you will not find in the average Thai restaurant in the Bay Area. For example, the chef or owner is from northern Thailand so the menu features a top Northern Thai dish - Kao Soi noodle soup (beef or chicken), or the all time fav 'street food' grilled pork skewers (moo ping) served with sticky rice (ck out the menu on their website). I had the Pad Kemao Chicken (menu says beef but they are happy to make dishes with what you like & even have Beyond Meat dishes on the menu - cool to see stir fried basil with Beyond Meat (Krapao Beyond Neur)). The taste of my wok fried pad kemao was delicious, same or better than any I've had on prior trips to Bangkok. Glad to have discovered a solid Thai restaurant that doesn't have watered down flavors. Good to see they have a lot of gluten free and vegan choices on the menu too. Definitely will be back, keep up the good work!“

“This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in the East Bay. So I and my friends keep coming back. The dishes are really well done, and the portions are quite good too. While, it can get a little noisy when it’s full, most of the time it’s OK. I particularly love the corn cheese fritters, the jumbo garlic, shrimp, the exquisite, coconut soup, and the ginger dish. “I ordered takeout khao man gai and mango sticky rice and it was delicious! The sauces that go with the khao man gai were so falvorful and added so much depth to the dish. The mango sticky rice was also super good. The coconut sauce was sweet with a hint of saltiness to balance out the dish, and although mangos are not in season right now, the mangoes were still sweet. I would come back here and order something else on the menu because I would want to try what else they have :)“

“Really yummy food and great service. Went for lunch with some friends and we enjoyed our meals. It a small place(indoors) but outside the patio is pretty large. The server was so nice and friendly. We were the only ones there so we got VIP treatment lol. I ordered the lunch combo yellow curry with veggies, chicken spring rolls and Thai tea. It didn’t miss a beat! The flavors were amazing and the veggies were cooked perfect. We also had the chicken wings as appetizers. GET THEM! They were delicious. Definitely coming back.“

“The cashew nut entree with chicken, I had three bites of my wife’s food and the first bite of chicken was the best tasting piece of chicken I’ve ever had in my life. Not hyperbole— just that I bit into it and my first thought was “ohh wow, I’ve never had a better piece of chicken.” Just perfectly seasoned.

“Went there for dinner on NBA All Star Game Night. We discovered this place while hunting for a place to eat in the neighborhood. We ordered Pad Woon Sen, Yellow Curry, Mango Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice. Each dish was flavorful, and the Curries go superbly with white rice! Wait staff was very attentive, the decor was tasteful and uncluttered, making the experience very enjoyable. We will be back to try the other offerings!“

I was worried when I saw only 1 person in the kitchen, but we did not have to wait long for our food, but there was also only one other party there. The Roti Canai was amazing, the red curry flavor was one of the best I've had in a long time. The rest of the food we had was incredibly good too. If I lived nearby I would be coming here all the time! Only downside is the vegetarian options were not clearly marked, and there were 2 pieces of chicken in our tofu pumpkin curry.

This restaurant has wonderful Thai food, excellent fresh ingredients and friendly service.
The one thing I wish they would change, are those awful metal trays in which they serve the lunch special!!
They are inconvenient to eat from them. Hard to scoop the soup from the indentation. Too bad they changed from using regular plates to those metal trays.
Hope new owners reconsider and go back to plates.
All their wonderful food looses it's appeal when served in those metal trays.“

I looked around and decided to go for the Won Thai restaurant, ordered the lunch special, fried catfish with rice, on the plate I got a colorful plate with a scoop of steam rice next to pan fried filet of catfish with plenty of green beans, fresh tomato pieces, sautéed on a lite curry sauce and sliced purple and green cabbage garnish.“
