“I’ve been to a lot of boba spots around Riverside, and Feng Cha is easily one of my favorites. The shop itself is super clean and modern, with a relaxed vibe that makes it a great place to hang out or get some work done.

What really stands out is the quality of their drinks. You can taste that everything is made with care—nothing feels overly artificial or watered down. My go-to is their brown sugar boba milk tea—the pearls are always warm, soft, and perfectly chewy, and the sweetness level is just right. I also appreciate that they let you customize sugar and ice levels so you can get it exactly how you like.

The staff has always been friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. Orders come out pretty quickly, and they’re happy to answer questions or make recommendations if you’re not sure what to try.

Overall, Feng Cha is a solid spot whether you’re craving a classic milk tea or something a little more unique. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Riverside!“

We got iced coconut coffee, strawberry smoothie and a sample of the salted coffee (pictured empty because my husband couldn’t wait & loved it at the first sip)

Coconut coffee is the best best consistency of strong coffee and creamy silt coconut. The blend is just so scrumptious.

Strawberry smoothie is top tier.
Not too sweet, not too milky overall the syrup they put on the bottom is like a jelly consistency which was perfection.

The owners here also run pho star bowl which we are obsessed with as well.

We are 100% faithful customers.

“The drinks are always good but their food isn't very flavorful and runs on the dry side. I recommend getting a mix of passion fruit and guava green tea! It's not a great hang out spot unfortunately because of the loud blender needed to make most of the drinks.“

“I’ve tried a ton of boba spots around Chicago, but Krak Boba in Riverside has easily become my new favorite. Their drinks are straight-up next level—especially the Frapstar. Oh my gosh, the Frapstar with chocolate is pure perfection. Creamy, rich, perfectly balanced sweetness, and that chocolate hits so good every single time. It’s dangerously addictive.
What I love most is how customizable everything is. You can really make each drink your own, and they never miss on the execution. The quality and consistency are top-tier.
Huge shoutout to the incredible Trina! She is an absolute GEM. Every time she’s on shift, the experience goes from great to unforgettable. She’s so efficient, friendly, and genuinely cares about getting every drink right. You can tell she puts love into each cup she makes. It’s rare to find that kind of energy and attention to detail. We don’t get to see her as often as we’d like, but whenever she’s there, it makes our whole day better. Management needs to know—they’ve got a superstar on their team!

“Pretty surprised by this spot! It’s a kiosk—though a really beautiful and eye-catching one. The stand looks great, but the menu is oddly placed right next to the cashier, so it's easy to miss. I had to walk over to see it, and the cashier just stared at me the whole time—not rude, but not exactly friendly either.

That said, I think this might be one of the more affordable boba places around. I got a jumbo drink with cheese foam and boba pearls for under $10. The foam was creamy but didn’t have much of a cheese flavor. The pearls were good, and the flavors overall were on point. The cup, though, was hilariously wide—kind of awkward to hold with one hand.

I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but if you’re already at the mall, it’s definitely a solid boba option.“

“This was a quick visit and a quick order for me. My niece wanted a Korean style corn dog and we did not want to drive all the way to Tyler Mall-Riverside. I immediately went on Google and this spot popped up so away we went.

There are other businesses in this area, and it was a bit difficult to turn in due to someone hogging the driveway a bit. I won’t make this an issue as it’s not the fault of the business, just people not being considerate of those who also want to drive in.

Upon entering Mochi Lion, it’s small, wasn’t busy and very quiet. Because of this, we were able to place our order right away and before we knew it we were on our way out. My niece got what she wanted and had no complaints- even stating it tasted like the ones she gets at home which made me happy to know for future requests.

Because this was a trip for my niece, she said she would go back when she comes to visit us. Of course I have to drive her, she’s not driving age. 😂“

“After trying boba milk and fruit teas in many shops, 7 Leaves comes out as one of the most authentic. They even have a kitchen in the back where they cook the taro and mung beans etc so that their taro milk tea doesn’t just come from a “powder” but from actual taro. I believe they even have a specialist in charge of quality control of their teas. All in all, they use authentic and high quality materials. It is totally worth the drive to find a 7 Leaves.

So next time you order a taro milk tea for example, elsewhere, watch them add the taro powder to the milk. Ask them where the powder comes from …. You’ll want to go back to 7 Leaves and get authentic tea with authentic food ingredients.“

“Some drinks are better than others. For certain drinks the flavors don't really come through and for the macarons as well. Has a good atmosphere and decor and I like that it closes later so I can stop by for by boba fix. Service is also good.“
