“The Dragonfly Thai is a local takeout/ eat -in establishment. Hubby and I ordered two different dishes. His was flavorful and well-received (Thai Kung Pao). Mine, Pad Thai with tofu, was rather bland and I needed to keep adding additional sauces to enhance the noodles. I ordered extra vegetables (paid extra) - and frankly it was hard to see what were the extra veggies and which were the ones that came with the dish. The staff were very kind and business was busy. I would go back - but not order the Pad Thai.“

“Just found this local place. Brisket, Pork Ribs, Hot link are fire. Got the Mac and cheese plus Baked Beans also good. Beans had a deep smokey flavor which I loved. Owner threw in some Tri-tip and it was fantastic👌. The meats were properly seasoned and savory. Definitely recommend this place.“

“What a great spot. Get the premium option. The bulgogi and filet mignon were my favorites but everything was delicious. This place is no-frills but strong on flavor and quality. I liked the salad bar, too. The pickled daikon is really scrumptious, as are the house sauces. Order conservatively because it's all-you-can eat (up to 2 hours at the table) and they'll charge you an additional plate if you don't finish what you order, which I think is very valid and fair. You can always add more and that's half the fun of it. I'll be back!“

“At first didn't think much about the place due to the store front and name bbq chicken, figure it was just a regular chicken spot but I was in a mood for wings. While viewing the menu I was intrigued by the flavors offered. Once entering location it's was refreshing to smell and see the cleanliness and aroma of something that immediately caught my attention which had me anticipating greatness.. and thats not all, the service was to the Capital T. The gentleman at the register answer all my questions with plenty of recommendations based on my taste. I was more then pleased and I didn't even order yet. Once I ordered I couldn't wait for my honey garlic wings with a side of pickled radishes. After my order was completed I was handed a buzzer to inform me when my order was ready. Now I waited in the car not sure if there was seating in the back cause I didn't ask nor venture I just wanted to head to the car and express my opinion to my spouse.. no more than 10 -15 mins later give or take food was ready. Now let me tell you i very impressed by the smell. Plus the container was perfect fully closed with air pockets so the 🐔 could breath. Now this always makes a difference no matter how the food smell. Maintaining that crispyness I look for.. now let me get to this chicken. Boy/ Girl let me tell you, chicken sooooo good make you wanna slap your momma. “So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

“We had not been to Mongol King since last year. Tonight 4 of us had dinner there. Everything was fresh and clean. The food was great and service was excellent. It’s a fun experience choose the ingredients and take it over to the cooks at the big wok. They cook it and serve it back to you on a plate. At the table there is rice and these puffy bread rolls. Very good. To finish off the meal they have jello, brownies and vanilla ice cream. This is one of our favorite spots in the South Bay. Go there you won’t be disappointed and you will not leave hungry.“

“Honu Poke & Grill truly delivers on all fronts! We ventured outside the usual South Bay bubble—a 20-minute drive that was absolutely worth every minute. We indulged in the fantastic barbecue ribs, which were perfectly fall-off-the-bone tender. Paired with their incredible poke and generous portions of teriyaki chicken and rice, plus a side of mac salad, we left completely satisfied and already planning our next trip!“

“What a neat experience in the south bay. We came across this restaurant thanks to Infatuation's 2025 list of best new restaurants to try.

We made a very last minute call to the restaurant to see if any spots opened up, and we were very fortunate to nab two seats. Parking is a little tight in this small strip mall area but not too bad in the evening.

Coming in, you're immediately greeted to a really neat setup - bar seating that surrounds an open kitchen with grills per every tea seats. Loved the modern decor with classic wooden Japanese items throughout the kitchen and fun, friendly chalkboards.

We were seated and given a tour of the menu. There are two pretty competitive omakase style beef walkthroughs. We opted to go with the $50 option as we didn't want to go with the wagyu sushi (that and a couple items were the main difference between this and the $70 option). We also had the ability to order more specific cuts of meat or go straight to the a la carte option as well.

The drink menu for non-alcohol items are a bit limited but for sake lovers, there are some great competitive options like a $30 5-sake cup flights.

Going into the $50 omakase, the options for the most part are super solid. We really enjoyed the multiple sauces that came out with the meat. The beef tongue trio was also fantastic all-around. Meats were cut right in front of you as well as marinated/seasoned. The butcher's cut curry also is oddly fantastic. It's a clever way to close out the meal using parts of the ends of meat. The grill in front of you also uses side vents so makes it a much more enjoyable experience.

I think the only bits of feedback we had (and something it seems like they are actively trying to address) is getting more helping hands. There was a bit of a chaotic energy as the tables were full and not enough hands on deck with things like front of house having to be done by the chef.

I think the servers were still superstars amidst everything going on and super kind in keeping us updated as to the situation.

They also do run out of some items of food so would advise to try to get an earlier time than later. Getting there after 8PM also means that you usually aren't able to go the omakase route as a heads-up.

Can't wait to come back and see how they continue to improve and refine a great idea.“

“Had a nice dinner here at Bowl Thai. You order your food upfront like Rubio’s, and they bring your food to your table. We had their crab fried rice, the texture and seasoning was good it wasn’t dry. We also enjoyed the shrimp pad thai, and they were very generous with the shrimp. Will definitely be back to try other delicious dishes.“

No galbi here, just bulgogi, brisket, spicy pork, pork belly, chicken, and beef belly (thin sliced short rib). Not a whole variety but these are the main meats.“
