“The Dragonfly Thai is a local takeout/ eat -in establishment. Hubby and I ordered two different dishes. His was flavorful and well-received (Thai Kung Pao). Mine, Pad Thai with tofu, was rather bland and I needed to keep adding additional sauces to enhance the noodles. I ordered extra vegetables (paid extra) - and frankly it was hard to see what were the extra veggies and which were the ones that came with the dish. The staff were very kind and business was busy. I would go back - but not order the Pad Thai.“

“Just found this local place. Brisket, Pork Ribs, Hot link are fire. Got the Mac and cheese plus Baked Beans also good. Beans had a deep smokey flavor which I loved. Owner threw in some Tri-tip and it was fantastic👌. The meats were properly seasoned and savory. Definitely recommend this place.“

The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff helps with grilling and explains the best way to enjoy the food. The restaurant is clean with a comfortable, authentic Korean atmosphere.

“If you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ in the South Bay — especially Korean-style grilled beef intestines (gopchang) — this is the place to go.

One thing that really stands out to me is how clean and well-prepared the gopchang is. Korean-style gopchang is known for its thorough cleaning and careful preparation, and I truly felt a sense of safety and quality here. That attention to detail makes a big difference.

All of the side dishes were excellent as well — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced.

“I was craving Mongolian food and decided to stop by Red Grill since I was in the area. As a first-timer, the staff was very friendly and guided me through the process, which I really appreciated. The food was good, though not the best I’ve had.“

“At first didn't think much about the place due to the store front and name bbq chicken, figure it was just a regular chicken spot but I was in a mood for wings. While viewing the menu I was intrigued by the flavors offered. Once I ordered I couldn't wait for my honey garlic wings with a side of pickled radishes. After my order was completed I was handed a buzzer to inform me when my order was ready. Now I waited in the car not sure if there was seating in the back cause I didn't ask nor venture I just wanted to head to the car and express my opinion to my spouse.. no more than 10 -15 mins later give or take food was ready. Now let me tell you i very impressed by the smell. Plus the container was perfect fully closed with air pockets so the 🐔 could breath. Now this always makes a difference no matter how the food smell. Maintaining that crispyness I look for.. now let me get to this chicken. Boy/ Girl let me tell you, chicken sooooo good make you wanna slap your momma. “I've come here quite a few times and every time. I am greeted with a smile. The team look like they're working hard especially the ladies who decided to clean the tables off and all that good stuff. I appreciate the attention to detail.“

“We had not been to Mongol King since last year. Tonight 4 of us had dinner there. Everything was fresh and clean. The food was great and service was excellent. It’s a fun experience choose the ingredients and take it over to the cooks at the big wok. They cook it and serve it back to you on a plate. At the table there is rice and these puffy bread rolls. Very good. To finish off the meal they have jello, brownies and vanilla ice cream. This is one of our favorite spots in the South Bay. Go there you won’t be disappointed and you will not leave hungry.“

“Honu Poke & Grill truly delivers on all fronts! We ventured outside the usual South Bay bubble—a 20-minute drive that was absolutely worth every minute. We indulged in the fantastic barbecue ribs, which were perfectly fall-off-the-bone tender. Paired with their incredible poke and generous portions of teriyaki chicken and rice, plus a side of mac salad, we left completely satisfied and already planning our next trip!“

“What a neat experience in the south bay. We came across this restaurant thanks to Infatuation's 2025 list of best new restaurants to try.

We made a very last minute call to the restaurant to see if any spots opened up, and we were very fortunate to nab two seats. Parking is a little tight in this small strip mall area but not too bad in the evening.

Coming in, you're immediately greeted to a really neat setup - bar seating that surrounds an open kitchen with grills per every tea seats. Loved the modern decor with classic wooden Japanese items throughout the kitchen and fun, friendly chalkboards.

We were seated and given a tour of the menu. There are two pretty competitive omakase style beef walkthroughs. We opted to go with the $50 option as we didn't want to go with the wagyu sushi (that and a couple items were the main difference between this and the $70 option). We also had the ability to order more specific cuts of meat or go straight to the a la carte option as well.

The drink menu for non-alcohol items are a bit limited but for sake lovers, there are some great competitive options like a $30 5-sake cup flights.

Going into the $50 omakase, the options for the most part are super solid. We really enjoyed the multiple sauces that came out with the meat. The beef tongue trio was also fantastic all-around. Meats were cut right in front of you as well as marinated/seasoned. The butcher's cut curry also is oddly fantastic. It's a clever way to close out the meal using parts of the ends of meat. The grill in front of you also uses side vents so makes it a much more enjoyable experience.

I think the only bits of feedback we had (and something it seems like they are actively trying to address) is getting more helping hands. There was a bit of a chaotic energy as the tables were full and not enough hands on deck with things like front of house having to be done by the chef.

I think the servers were still superstars amidst everything going on and super kind in keeping us updated as to the situation.

They also do run out of some items of food so would advise to try to get an earlier time than later. Getting there after 8PM also means that you usually aren't able to go the omakase route as a heads-up.

Can't wait to come back and see how they continue to improve and refine a great idea.“

The food never disappoints and there isn't a single place I've been across the states that compares to the meat we get here. While side dishes such as Moyashi Namui (US$4.8) and Green Salad ($5.8) are refreshing, the different cuts of wagyu are simply delicious!
