“I love this location it’s super close to my house!!!
I recommend crumbl for having a lot of choices of cookies, having best chocolate chip cookies!!!
Then, what i love the most is that everyweek they have different choices of cookies that we can choose from♥️”
“This place deserves every bit of five stars. No matter what you order, the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish is flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care.
What impressed me even more than the food was the service. The staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and well-coordinated. Their teamwork and efficiency make the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Everything arrived quickly, the restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere felt welcoming.
Finding a place like this on a Sunday afternoon truly felt like a little moment of happiness. Great food, great service, and a great experience overall. I will definitely be coming back! ★★★★★”
“My husband and I have been here quite a few times now. We try to introduce a different couple to this restaurant each time we dine here. It has become one of our favorite places! The previous manager Sam, as well as the current manager Jimmy, have always been so accommodating to us! Each dish we order is always so delicious! Take a look at my recent photos and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!”

“I’ve been to this restaurant twice now, and both visits were enjoyable. I tried the hot sake, the salmon and California roll bento set, and the teriyaki beef plate. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the dining experience even better. Overall, it’s a great spot for a satisfying meal and a relaxed atmosphere—I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“Closed to home 25 miles but better than go to Santa Ana 45 miles. Food taste 3.9 Cleanness 4 Atmosphere 3.9 Huge place, clean and perfect bathroom”

“The banh xeo is top notch here. Both the shrimp and fish ones are great! It's so crispy and comes with lots of fresh veggies. Its even crispy and perfect when I get take out! A little pricey but it's a good portion. There is a $1 credit card fee so bring cash. I love this place so much, if only they opened for dinner!”

“Best Chicken in all of town. Extra Spicy is always a perfect blend of almost too hot and not hot enough. This location always delivers. Shout out to Johnathan. He's been working here for the longest and always has top tier customer service. Johnathan for manager. Dave's Hot Chicken for the trophy 🏆 Enjoy.”
“the decor of the style presented as the restaurant is welcoming and inviting which was why my family who frequents this restaurant often with her friends recommended this place to me too”
“Great customer service as the servers were very attentive and friendly. Food was good and fresh, unfortunately some items were sold out. Place was packed and busy during weekends as it is a popular dim sum place.”
Outdoor Dining
“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩”
“Honest opinion Everything was so good! We did have to wait about 10 minutes for the server to take are order, but she was so nice! It was so busy!! But delicious! Honest a little pricey! But what ya going to do? It's 2026! I recommend coming out to Denny's if you like a tasty meal and people watching! It was nice! Thank you and God bless 🙏”
“We had a large party dining here and they were very accommodating for such a large crowd. The service was fine and the dishes were excellent. Unlike other Chinese food restaurants that taste as though the same sauce is used on all of the dishes, Here the sauces were varied and delicious. The portions were large and everyone enjoyed their meal. I never saw the final bill so I can't comment on bang for your buck.
Will go back again without reservation
Kid-friendliness: Three kids were in our group and they had their own colorful bowls and utensils.”
“If you like good comfort Vietnamese food then this is your spot. I always bring my family here when I come to visit. The food is always delicious and low price. We fed a family of 10 for a reasonable price. It's a local family-owned restaurant with food that lives up to family cooking. While the decor may not be very fancy they are slowly upgrading. The owner Nancy is very nice. Try the red macaroni with tender beef, the braised catfish, banh xeo and more. So yummy.”
“Driving between Palm Springs and Los Angeles? We plan the whole trip around this …
Have a special combo bahn mi at Tip Top Sandwiches in Rosemead. Their fresh spring rolls, pho and Vietnamese coffee are killer too! And never leave without a fresh $3 French baguette.”
“I would say its a gem 💎 and you should to give it to try! I had nice delicious breakfast over there I enjoyed every dish I tried over there! Recommend to try, you will never regret!”
“Came here on a Tuesday for lunch with my parents. It was a bit busy, but the wait was under 10 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all.
We ordered the usual dim sum staples and added one special item, the imperial cold chicken. That dish was the standout. Super flavorful, tender, and honestly the highlight of the meal. Everything else we ordered was solid and hit the spot. The food overall was really good.
Ambiance is exactly what you’d expect from a classic Chinese restaurant. Loud, busy, and energetic. You can still hold a conversation, but you’ll need to raise your voice a bit.
Now the downside. Service was lacking. We had to refill our own teapot and grab our own to-go boxes. No real attentiveness, and compared to other dim sum spots nearby, the service here falls short.
Parking is convenient. They have a small free lot plus free street parking, which is always a plus.
Would I come back? If someone else suggested it, sure. The food is excellent, but the service definitely needs improvement.”
“They have great little snacks and food to go. They also make fresh stuff to go and seems they are popular for huge sushi platters and combos. I was here for new years and they had a lot of sushi platters for pick up. The sushi is good and fresh. They also have some really good spam musubi. A good assortment of Japanese/Asian foods, snacks and drinks.”

“This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy.
I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though.
If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash.
Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks.
I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order.
If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.”
“Food was great as always! It was the waiters First day so he kind of forgot to keep checking in on us to see if we wanted more soup, salad, bread and/or drink refills. So when another server came over to see if we needed anything, we said yes and asked for our refills of everything to go.”
“Years ago my mom randomly came to this store after a gig in the area, and she was shocked by how good it was.
We happened to be in the area again, and my mom INSISTED on coming here. We ordered number 1 and some cucumbers. Clean, rich flavors. We got mild, and while there’s a kick it isn’t overwhelming. Numbing spice though!
Cucumbers were fresh, salty and rich on the outside and crisp.
Unassuming interior, delicious meal.”
“This place is such a hole in the wall, would honestly come back. This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it’s so hidden. The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. I would come back any day for tacos!Parking lot is shared with other shops but not too busy! The menu is consistent and so is their food!Would come back again! Don’t let the small shop and sketchy look deceive you!”
“Enjoyed the meal at a dinner party tonight. Especially enjoyed the shrimp salad. So refreshing! Loved the sweet chili dressing. All the courses were good and well flavored while not too salty. Had not been here for a while. Great space for a dinner, karoake and dancing! For a dinner party of 14 tables, service was really good! They even provided extra chopsticks for serving and were good about refilling the ice bucket.”
“I recommend New flavor of India restaurant . Very friendly Very clean Large portions And most important the food is very flavorful .”
“Service was fast, friendly and very helpfull....food was also great by the way. I came on a weekend and it was very busy and had to wait but still was well worth it.”
“Food is delicious and fragrant. Chili oil is authentic and actually has spice and taste, not that mild stuff other places have. The beef in the fried noodle dish is tender and delicious, the sauce is fragrant. Cats ear noodle did take a longer time to make, but it's all hand made. Can't complain.
My husband got the lamb organ soup and the broth is milky white. The soup is extremely clear tasting and not gamey. Hand pulled noodle texture is on point. Not too soft, chewy.
Speciality fried pork was great and had that authentic north west vinegar sauce and taste.
There was a super annoying customer last night and the staff handled the situation very well. My husband was annoyed for the staff. Props to the restaurant. 10/10.
If you're dining in for the first time:
-Staff does not speak English, do some research on Xian cuisine and checkout their menu beforehand so you understand what dishes to expect
-They accept cash
-Water is self service
-Staff is not intentionally being rude, there's a cultural difference between Chinese and western dining service
-They don't bring utensils out because they're already at your table
-If you have any type of food allergies or dietary restrictions it's up to YOU to figure it out and not the staff”

“My first visit here was just a quick stop for a drink and a bathroom break. The layout and overall appearance were exactly what you'd expect from a typical McDonald's—clean and familiar. However, I do have to mention the bathrooms were a letdown. They felt cramped, weren’t very clean, and lacked proper ventilation, which made for an unpleasant smell. Aside from that, it was a fairly standard McDonald's experience, but the restroom situation could definitely use improvement.”
“I will leave a very honest review here. The owners are extremely generous and this is the most authentic Chengdu / Szechuan food I’ve ever had. Do not be fooled by other restaurants fancy decor, some other restaurant tastes are bland and not authentic. If you want great portions, AUTHENTIC tasting Szechuan food, come here ASAP. I highly recommend the 辣子鸡 (spicy crispy chicken) sometimes regarded as the best in SGV. You can also ask the owners for off menu items to surprise your taste buds if you’re down for a flavor adventure. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”
“I saw on a post about their lobster deal for $20 lunch special and wanted to try it.
It turns out there are 2 deals.
1 is a $20 lunch special another is for a $15.99 per lbs, buy 2 get 1 special.
The $20 lunch special is not quite $20. You are required to order 3 Dimsum items.
So my bill was closer $40+. The lobster was about 1.25 lbs. it was on the small side but it was still a good deal. The lunch was worth it.
The $15.99 per lbs, but 2 get 1 free deal, you will need to order 2 other dishes to get it. You also don’t have to buy 2 lobsters at the same time. You can buy 1 , another day buy another 1 then you get the free one after.
The house special lobster - that was excellent. There is a slight sweet , savory and spicy flavor. Strong on garlic flavor. There is a hint of fermented soy bean in that as well. My order was 2.8 lbs. I managed to easily handle that on my own.
Dimsum -
Pork bun tasted a bit dry. Not the best. Chicken bun needs a bit more fillings.
Beef Ball - that was good. Tasted legit.
Pork Century Egg Congee - I’ll order it again
Shrimp Rice Roll - quite good. Sauce has an excellent earthy savory sweet taste. Perfect texture.
Royal Chicken - is Hainan Chicken , that was good.”
Takeout Restaurants
“My FAVORITE acai place! Perfect for lunch on a hot day! So yummy, healthy, and pretty! I love that they have a low sugar acai too and both matcha and original chia pudding! Lots of great toppings! I usually pre order via app and pick up but wanted to use my free ones so ordered in store! Check out the assembly! So cool. Edna has mad knife skills! Service is always excellent! — at Acai Joint Rosemead.”

“My new go to place for banh mi! They're open until pretty late for a banh mi place, which I appreciated when I needed to grab some sandwiches at 8:30 pm for a late dinner.
They offer a buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round bread banh mi. One is $6.25 so when you order two and get one free, it comes out to be about $4 each. The sandwiches I've gotten so far (grilled pork and grilled beef) are the most stuffed I've seen in a round banh mi!
I couldn't leave without trying their egg rolls and pate chaud. They're $1.30 each or 3 pieces for $3.75. Solid egg rolls and pate chaud.
Parking in this supermarket plaza can be a little crazy. Park towards the side to avoid the traffic.”

“Sooo This is definitely the closest thing to a NYC NJ Bagel Deli Sandwich shop I’ve been to in LA the staff was perfect the music he feel the store it’s self so perfect I can’t believe this be been out here for 3 months and this gem of a store has been hiding right here this entire time everything fresh you gotta stop by”
“Mushroom and chicken casserole is SO GOOD!!! It’s an interesting place. Feels like someone’s dining room. The servers are not very attentive but that’s ok the food was awesome”
“I love supporting small businesses. It is the spot when I crave for cheese cake or need pick it up for potlucks and parties. I love the Japanese Iced cheesecake . It's light, not too sweet Percy texture and so delicious. They have the original , matcha , strawberry and Oreo flavors. You can either one flavor or a set of all 4.
The taro snowflakes is a must try, creamy taro sponge cake made with real taro.
This shop is clean, cutesy and is family owned and I was helped by the owner's mom, she's super nice lady, the owner makes all the cakes.
They take cash, Venmo and Zelle as payment options.”

“I was seated as soon as I walked thru the door. As soon as I looked up from my menu, someone came to take my order. I went to the bathroom, sat down and my food arrived within 5 minutes of me parking my car. These guys are always so fast and the food is always delicious.”

“I stopped by at this restaurant and try Pho beef noodles. The taste was incredible! A huge bowl filled with beef and tendons. The addition of herbs on my plate gave an delicious combination and aroma. The was very very good and service was lighting fast! I will come again and recommend to my friends. Five stars.”
“They had pretty short hours focused around lunch time, so I had trouble making it here before they closed for the day. I was finally able to stop by during the week after a doctor's appointment maybe 30 min before their 3 pm closing time and pick several different onigiris that were not yet sold out for the day.
We went big and ordered several to go:
* 3x Karaage wrapped in Dashi Shiitake Gohan (Japanese Fried Chicken in Shiitake Dashi Rice) - $4.50 each
* 2x Spam Onigiri (Grilled Spam with Tare Sauce) - $3.25 each
*1x Tuna Mayo (Cooked Light Tuna mixed with Japanese Mayo) - $3.75
* 5x Grilled Salmon with Shiso Leaf - $4.25 each
* 1x Mentaiko Mayo with Tamago (Mentaiko mixed with Japanese Mayo with Japanese Egg Omelette) - $4.60
* 3x Buta Kakuni (Slow Braised Pork Belly) - $4.50 each
I personally liked the karaage, spam, salmon, and pork belly. BF enjoyed the karaage and salmon the most. They have more on the menu that we wanted to try next time, so hopefully we make it early enough before they sell out!
There's parking in the plaza, but it can be a little hard finding a spot since there's not too many spots. The other challenge is getting out, as there's only one entrance to get in and out of off Walnut Grove Ave, so if you need to head north, good luck getting out and beating opposing traffic.”
“The poached chicken was cooked just right — tender, juicy, and pleasantly bouncy without being tough. The ginger-scallion sauce was fragrant and well-balanced, and I highly recommend pairing the chicken with their pho noodles and broth. The broth has a clean, savory depth with just the right level of saltiness, and the rice noodles are incredibly smooth and silky, which really elevates the whole dish.
Even though the shop is quite busy, the staff are friendly and attentive, and service remains efficient — our food came out in about 15 minutes, which felt very reasonable.
If you take the chicken home on its own, the seasoning may feel a bit light, since it’s really meant to be enjoyed together with the soup and noodles. As a full combo, though, everything comes together beautifully and feels comforting and satisfying.”
“Eating their roast duck was a wonderful surprise! The skin was crispy, the meat tender and flavorful, and every bite was pure bliss—not greasy at all. The side dishes and sauces were also authentic and complemented each other perfectly. The home-style dishes were also prepared with care, the flavors were authentic, and they were incredibly delicious with rice. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes you order. The restaurant was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable dining experience. The service was excellent, and the food came out quickly. Overall, a great experience. I'll definitely come again and recommend it to my friends!”
“Super delicious Chinese style skewers, the Intestine was so good! You can taste a slight hint of what I think was licorice... 10/10 can't wait to go back! Will update on next visit 😃”
“Staff was absolutely helpful and kind! The Decor and table set ups looked beautiful and family friendly. We ordered the Chow Fun with Veggies and the House Special Prawns. Chow fun was perfect! When I say it was the best prawns I’ve ever had, it was the best prawns I’ve ever had. They have something special here and I would recommend 10/10.”
Cheap Eats
“Neighbors Tea House offers the most exception beverages and sweet treats, like their Smashed Avocado and Durian and soy pudding. I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. You can order online to expedite your experience. Be sure to say hi to Hailey, the owner, who always comes up with these amazing beverages. Will definitely be back!”
“This establishment is Very clean & neat.
First time trying Japanese style cheesecake & Omgee it was amazing.
They had a tester one available and gosh it was amazing.
I ordered the original Japanese style cheesecake & Iced Brown Sugar latte with Salted cheese foam
(To be completely honest the latte isn’t anything unique or special.
Taste was blend for me.
BUT the cheese, very delicious.
I did have to wait an additional 10 mins or so for the cheesecake because it wasn’t ready & the logo machine wasn’t ready for a press so my Cheesecake has no logo / design.
I was offered a discount due to the inconvenience but didn’t receive it (lol)
The packaging is just beautiful, great quality🤍
Overall I will be coming back for the other cheesecake flavors.
(& hopefully I receive the discount I was promised LOL)”
“the best food I've had in LA is also the cheapest. thank goodness for this lovely couple. They have made-to-order plates and choose-your-items buffet. Probably the most amount of food you'd ever get for the price (buffet). I feel like I'm getting closer to Taiwan! :)
pork (belly?) and curry chicken were amazing!
if this kind of place doesn't exist in San Jose / south SF Bay / Santa Cruz, then I'm not going!”
“Reading these 1 star reviews really makes me upset. I have been a regular JTYH patron since 2013 and just got takeout from here today (Feb-26). They are a rare restaurant that hasn’t heavily increased prices AND maintained generous portions, even after COVID.
My top recs are the pan fried pork buns, the best I have ever had. The dough is perfectly cooked and the meat inside is delicious and huge, generous portion. I also love their beef rolls, (also my favorite I’ve ever found), because they have a good helping of veggies and sauce (and beef of course) so it’s not dry like so many other places. Then I also get their sliced pork ears as an appetizer.
I do like their fried noodle dishes and noodle soups (though I wouldn’t claim these are the best in SGV). They are still worth a try and a solid option to round out your meal.
For the past four years, the restaurant has been pretty quiet whenever I get takeout, usually dinner time. Parking is very easy (bc it is in a lot with other tenants that are closed by then). I have zero issues w their (not particularly warm) service. They make good food and pack it well and have it all ready to go when I need it!”
“Valley Super Burgers × El Sazón Mexican Eats
📍 Rosemead, CA
If you’re walking down Valley Blvd and craving real comfort food, this spot deserves a stop.
The burgers are genuinely delicious — juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. You can taste that this place has history behind it. On top of that, the addition of El Sazón Mexican Eats brings solid, authentic Mexican flavors into the mix, making it a unique neighborhood fusion that offers something for everyone.
It’s clear that these two businesses have come together under one roof, and that kind of transition isn’t easy. You can feel that the food is already dialed in, while the front-of-house experience is still finding its rhythm. A little more warmth and friendliness from the staff would go a long way in matching the quality of the food — which is already there.
Overall, this feels like a long-standing local spot evolving into its next chapter. If you’re someone who loves supporting small, family-run businesses with good food and deep roots in the community, this is worth checking out and revisiting as it continues to grow.”
“First time having lunch here and was happy with the food and service. Their lunch specials are a great low price option as well. I had the turkey burger and fries. Can’t say I’ve had many turkey burgers in my past to compare this one to, but I can say I enjoyed mine. The meat was juicy and was pretty tasty. The fries were nice and crisp which I prefer as well, so all good. My co-workers seemed to enjoy their meals as well so all good. Price was the surprise. A lot of great options on their $10 lunch menu which will have me coming back to try a few more. Considering there was only one server and a manager, they managed to keep up with service and our water glasses full.”
“Best of rosemead😇 Fresh and Healthy”
“Food was great, but they need to hire more staff—existing people working there were very busy and were doing their best, but they didn’t really have time to serve everyone properly”
“This French restaurant, tucked away in the Chinese community of Rosemead, is seriously delicious! My family, friends, and I have been here four or five times already. It’s been open for nearly 30 years—older than I am. The owner and head chef are Vietnamese, and since Vietnam was once a French colony, their French cuisine is quite authentic. The lighting inside the restaurant is soft and dim, creating a warm, cozy atmosphere that feels like eating at home. Every dish here is freshly baked or cooked to order, with no pre-made food at all.”

“Da Vien Coffee has had the best Vietnamese coffee and matcha einspänners by my palate standards so far.
The Vietnamese coffee was actually pretty strong compared to other places I've tried. I prefer my drinks on the stronger side, so this was pretty good for my palate. People who prefer coffee brewed on the weaker side might not enjoy the Vietnamese coffee as much as I did. Nevertheless, it was quality coffee.
The only thing I didn't like was that ¾ of the cup was filled with straight ice. I prefer my drinks with light ice, some people prefer it with more ice however, it just depends on your preferences.
I also tried their 16 oz matcha einspänner with 50% sweetness and an extra shot of matcha and it is one of the BEST matcha einspänners I have had so far in LA county. However it is not the best matcha I have ever had before!, but it was still higher quality than matcha sold at some cafés I've been to. It had that signature umami flavor with smooth and vegetal/grassy notes just like matcha is supposed to be. These people know what they're doing!
Service didn't seem bad, I never noticed a single staff member do anything rude or disrespectful to anyone, and the café and the restrooms were kept nice and clean despite the crowdedness. The cashier was attentive and respectful to me when I placed my order.
The atmosphere was nice, decorations are all around the café which made it seem pretty pleasant.
Overall, amazingly crafted Vietnamese coffees and matcha einspänners, the best I've ever had in the county, but the Vietnamese coffee was ¾ of the way filled with ice so I only got about 8-10 sips lol. The service was great, the staff members were respectful, attentive to our needs and kept the café clean, Atmosphere was great, I liked some of the decorations
9/10 Would come back again sometime, would certainly recommend to a friend nearby.”
“We just tried this Bake & Che Vietnamese dessert place in Rosemead on Rosemead Blvd and River Ave. It's next to the Da Vien Coffee. This is a new structure, and the ambiance was comfortable with modern decor. We ordered G1 The Sampler (5 pcs, $7), Avocado Che ($8), and C1 House Special ($7). The five cakes sampler included palm sugar, pandan layers, mung bean, cassava, and taro. I especially like the taro and mung bean cakes, but I'm not a fan of the pandan because it has durian inside. Besides the cakes, I liked their drinks even more! The Avocado Che drink was so delicious and so fresh. It had a lot of ingredients inside. My hubby liked the House Special Che Dac Biet (C1) drink so much, but it had durian inside, so I did not drink it. We forgot to order their signature flan cheesecake, and we will definitely go back to try it next time. The service was friendly and speedy.”
“True Cantonese flavor! Super friendly service.. both the dad and the son chef thanks us for coming even though we didn’t orders the expensive dishes.. passed by and decided to give it a try.. the seafood fried noodle was delicious.. good size shrimps and good portion.. the surprise was the homey steamed chicken with wood mushroom. 🌟 🐄 🥩”
