“This is a newly opened restaurant, so the environment inside the store is very clean and the furniture looks new. There are not too many choices on the menu. The Hainanese Chicken Rice is very tasty, but the chicken is slightly less umami. The Bamboo Shoots and Chicken Soup Noodles have a sweet soup base, which is worth a try.“

“Food is always awesome. Plenty of options from Ramen to sushi. The only thing is that for some reason they never let me sit in the booth by the wall. The first time it was only 2 of us and they said our party was too small. The second time they said our party was too big with 5 of us. Maybe some day I'll get to sit in that booth. .“

“I’ve come here many times—it’s one of my favorite restaurants. The beef noodle soup is my go-to, but honestly, it’s hard to pick a favorite because everything is delicious.

Highly recommend the dumplings—they’re handmade, and you can even buy them frozen at a great price. The server reminds me of my aunties, and the food tastes like grandma made it. It’s like a cozy Sunday at mom’s, and she just brought out the menudo.

I also love that the music stays true to the culture. They play Mandarin songs, not some watered-down English playlist. It makes the whole experience feel authentic—like I’ve been invited into someone’s home. I’m always happy here. 🥰“

“Liangpi LA is the most delicious. As a Xi'an native, I have eaten all over Xi'an restaurants in Los Angeles. This is the first time I have tasted something so delicious. In other restaurants, they are either not vinegary enough or the dishes are messy.

It was too tart for him.Parking on a Monday afternoon is super easy, and the restaurant itself wasn't crowded at all. It was really echo-y in there. I also think the restroom could be nicer.“

“Chinese Café serves amazing, delicious, healthy Chinese food! This food is so good! We had the food delivered. They were on time, the food was hot and fresh, and each item was boxed in plastic containers. Egg rolls and rice were in traditional take out paper containers. If an item has pan-fried noodles, then the noodles and the sauce is packaged separately so the dish itself will be fresh. Also, each box for a part of an item was labeled so we'd know what goes with which food item. Soup came in soup containers and also in plastic bags so the soup wouldn't spill accidentally. The food is traditional Cantonese Chinese food. We ordered BBQ Pork, Won Ton Soup, Green Pepper Beef, Chicken Egg Foo Young, Beef Pan Fried Noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Vegetable Egg Rolls. The flavors of the meat and vegetables are fresh! The egg rolls are crispy and delicious! The food is low in sodium! Fortune cookies were free with great fortunes! “This is a really nice cafe in Downey. They have free wifi, many snacks and nice boba. The boba menu is great. The smoothie and fruit tea are nice too. I think the standard menu is a bit too sweet for me. The snacks are like frozen snacks and took out to fry. Staff was very nice. Clean restroom. Great vibes for working or chatting.“

“This place is an amazing dining experience. A great alternative to Korean bbq or hot pot, you order different skewers and let them cook in front of you, then enjoy. All the different meats and vegetables were delicious and offered lots of variety so there is something for everyone. “Great bakery tucked away in a small trip mall on Las Tunas and Mission. Although small, the baked goods are so good here. They are also very creative with their pastries. This is the only shop I can find gigantic pineapple buns. One of the bun here equals to probable 4 to 5 regular buns that you would typically find at dim sum. They can also custom made cakes from 6 inch to whatever sizes you want with various different flavors and designs. We just ordered a 6 in chestnut cake with rose flower decoration for my mom's birthday. Order was done efficiently and timely. We ordered the cake one day before and was able to pick it up by next morning. I also like their Chinese pastries. One of my favorites is their Portuguese egg tart or Pastéis de Nata as they called the Custer in Portugal. The skin is so crispy and the egg tart filling tasted so good. I just can't stop eating them. Probably I have to run a couple of miles the next day to burn off the calories. There are so many great pastries here. I just have to come back to try them all. The owner is so friendly and she is always very helpful to introduce us to new products.“
