“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. Their menu includes breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toasts, old fashioned oatmeal, and build-your-own scramblers. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “They do NOT mess around with the XL bowl. It had basically an unlimited amount of meat. The bowl is 11 or 12 inches in diameter. Good service too. Wasn’t overpriced at all. Very reasonable.”

“Great place for ramen, and they are not shy about portions. Recommend the ramen for 2 people if getting sushi and sashimi. While on that note, the sashimi we fresh and thick portions. My wife is tough on ramen rating, and she said this was the best. She got the tonkatsu and I got the miso ramen. Great place for date night! Yummy and my compliments to the chefs!”

“Had a great experience at Nick the Greek! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The portions were generous, and everything had that authentic Greek taste I was looking for. “I was seated outside, not much of a view but that's OK. I had the country fried steak, with eggs over easy and biscuits & gravy. The food was delicious. The gravy had sage in it, but not overwhelming. The biscuit was seasoned, very good on its own. I enjoyed the CFS. My bride ordered a sandwhich. I don't recall but she really enjoyed it. I also ordered a side of their signature Chipotle cheddar potatoes. They were absolutely fantastic. I would go back just to have those potatoes. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Great place to enjoy a breakfast.”

“We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.”

“After a long, hot day, I wanted to stop in for something cool and refreshing. I was greeted by Rich and he was so welcoming and kind.
He explained all that he had and I ended up grabbing a super interesting coconut option and a ginger shot.
The coconut juice was unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. It was exactly how Rich described it and hit the spot perfectly.
I’m looking forward to heading back soon to try another one of his creations!

“Their service was excellent. it was quick service, with hot pizza and cold crisp salad. The ranch tasted homemade. The pizza was not greasy like most pizzas. The crust was lite and fluffy. It had a crisp cheesy flavor. The dough was perfect. The look of the pizza is appealing. Overall a 5 star rating.”

“We left raging waters and wanted sushi. This place was close by and there was no wait for a party of 7 on a Saturday. They seem to do a lot of to go orders and delivery. The food was very good and the service was on point. Highly recommend.”

“I was referred this hidden gem by a friend to try their bakery, namely the “Laham be ajeen” aka (Safiha) but I was tempted to try their spinach pies, which turned out to be a great idea. Family enjoyed the pies more than the famous bakeries of Brookhurst of Anaheim. I have bought some Baraze’ too but unfortunately they seemed to have been slightly under-cooked so I had to give them a little bit of toasting. Maybe it’s a personal choice of mine to have sesame on baraze’ cookies a bit darker and more toasty.
Their cooking menu is good. I would order in advance.
In the small grocery section, I was surprised to find some middle eastern delicacies at a decent price such as the coveted brown truffles in brine. I filled up 😎

While they have a couple of tables, I didn’t feel it was suitable to sit. The view is the parking lot and other businesses.”

“Palermo Bakery has everything you need to feel like you are in Italy! From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. They are also very COVID safe in case you are worried about venturing out and about. I would recommend the bakery to anyone needing a slice of Italy in Southern California! ❤️🇮🇹💚”

Just know that the shop’s location in San Dimas is located not in an obvious place, but trust me … their ice cream is out of this world!! My advice? Give the store a call before heading over as the store has very limited hours, so as not to get disappointed.”

“Food came out as ordered...food was hot and fresh. This mom and pop shop has been here for some time and runs a good burger🍔 shop that includes Mexican🌯🌮 food items and some Greek🇬🇷. Their drive thru is always busy and their shakes are delicious with many choices of flavors...🥤including some of your own suggestions such as the chocolate 🍫 🍌banana...my fave.

The place is clean but the seats are all booths and a little dated...tight fit for the bigger guys who show up in the big work trucks. Could use some updated seating and mixed booths and tables to accommodate the big fellas...otherwise the place is a great burger place overall. Not the first time here and won't be the last. 😋”

“I used to work a couple units from here about 8 years ago and I remember going often to buy their Danishes and mini muffins to share with my coworkers. One year my boss even got me a cake for my birthday from there too. I don't know if they sell to the public because I remember the manager at the time (Linda) she always was kind to let me buy them. I recently moved back to the area and I just love the smell.”

“Perfect Blend of Sit Down and Fast Service

Chinese food often falls into one of two categories, a full sit-down restaurant experience, or the more common buffet style option to go.

Chopstick House is great on both fronts in the sense that you can sit down and get quality food in a timely manner. If you dine in the food will be nice and hot, and as someone who has ordered to go several times, it still has a great warmth when opening it up at home.

My favorite dishes are their house fried rice, house chow mein, fried shrimp, and the orange chicken.

I cannot stress enough how great their noodles are, very thick and tasty regardless of what you pair them with.

I live further away and use to frequent their location at Ontario Mills but the drive to San Dimas is worth it every time!”

Sandwiches have always been made to order and exactly how you want.
Cheeseburger is decent for a basic cheeseburger no fluff

Decent prices, can actually get lunch for under 10$ I got a cheeseburger and Arnold palmer today and it was $8.67

“We stopped in for brunch on our road trip. I'm not sure what it looks like for lunch, but around 10:40 am was great. The menu had a great variety of things and all of my kids found something they liked. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy. I had the Kalua Pork Hash. It was a good size, full of flavor, and the gravy wasn't overdone. I brought my leftovers with me. My daughter also enjoyed her breakfast burrito, and had the second half later that day. I appreciated the kid items sprinkled in. The staff were friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and the atmosphere was open and sunny. I enjoyed the experience.”

There are a couple of tables outside as well. There’s also counter seating and plenty of parking in the free parking lot.”

“I absolutely recommend this place. Every time i get a little extra pay from work, I come here to treat myself. No matter if it’s a quick on the go lunch, or a feast of a dinner, the sushi is delicious and they’re customer service is amazing. They always give me complimentary sauces, and sometimes even an on the house roll!! And the one time I ordered the wrong roll, they swapped it out for me. I recommend this restaurant whenever I get the chance :) Thank you guys for all your amazing work !!”
