“First time here. We saw a review on facebook and decided to try it out. Very small place but cute. We walked in and was left standing not knowing if we sit ourself and there were several tables that needed to be cleaned off. An elderly lady looked at us and did not acknowledge us so I said, shall we seat ourselfs? The lady was the owner Angela, which seemed like she was taking orders, serving and making food. We sat down with no menus and my husband had to get up and go to the counter and Angela just said can I help you? Wow. We never even got our water until 1/2 hour later. We sat at a table next to the womens bathroom and the area smelled a little of sewer which was not enjoyable. Finally she took our order. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza and shared a antipasta salad which was very good and the pizza was good. My hubby ordered to go an sausage & pepper sandwich. The sandwich not so good. It was very salty and the sausage tasted old. Service was extremely slow. We are not sure if we will give it another try or not based on our experience.”

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. Their menu includes breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toasts, old fashioned oatmeal, and build-your-own scramblers. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. Thank you to the owner, Haydee, and her family for providing such a great first experience. I'm now a loyal customer!”

“Reasonably priced, good portions. I had the 10pc sushi roll plate, and upgraded to steamed veggies, but they came litly steamed, closer to raw than cooked. Edamame was good (hard to not make that peoperly).

My friend had the bento box w/chicken teriyaki. Salad dressing comes in 1oz to go containers, despite us dining in restaurant.

“We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. “Easily my favorite diner in the San Dimas area. It’s a traditional American diner right in the heart of downtown San Dimas on what looks like good old-fashioned Main Street America. Parking in this area is extremely easy, there is a parking lot in the rear, but we were able to find a free space right out front. Inside is also very large with many different seating areas and seating options. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out fast and at a fair price.

The menu is really large and filled with all sorts of great American diner classics. I had heard so much about their Chicken Fried Steak and overheard many other diners ordering it before me so that’s what I chose for my breakfast and I was extremely satisfied with it. It was a large cut of meat and it had great flavor. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed them. I got a biscuit on the side, which was pretty small, but the flavor was really nice, I just wish it was larger in size.

Overall I would suggest to any diner fan in the area.”

“I always have the most amazing experience at this Applebee’s San Dimas for decades! Yesterday, was the best that I simply felt this review was warranted. From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming. Aurora at the bar was truly exceptional!! Her service was top-tier, fabulous, friendly, and professional. She made us feel right at home and elevated our entire experience. The rest of the staff were equally wonderful, attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do.

They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. She was so kind and attentive not to mention very personable, as we had a great conversation. She was also very helpful because she was very knowledgeable about the different options. All of the subways in Irvine and OC in general are a joke because a lot of them have terrible customer service but Diana was the first good Subway employee in a while. The restaurant itself was very clean and well-kept, including the counters, dining area, and drink station. Everything looked tidy and organized, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
