“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. Their menu includes breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toasts, old fashioned oatmeal, and build-your-own scramblers. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! This has become one of our favorite pho restaurants, and it's so good that we drive all the way from Fontana just to eat here. The broth is flavorful, the ingredients are fresh, and everything is always prepared perfectly. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes every visit enjoyable. Stumbled upon this place from an Instagram reel and was not disappointed at all. Fish is surprisingly fresh for San Dimas(owner has their own seafood distribution) and rivals that of higher-end omakase style sushi restaurants in So Cal while maintaining a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

“I love the food here. The meat is always lean, tender, and juicy. I go out of my way to visit the San Dimas location because of the service. I’ve been helped by Cristian a few times and he is so kind and attentive, a real gem. This last time I was helped by Cadence, too, who was great as well. Very friendly and helpful when we were discussing allergens. Awesome team in San Dimas. I hope the management recognizes how much of difference their staff makes.”

“We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.”

“Wow! Been wanting to come here ever since I saw this place on instagram and finally was able to make it in! I would have never thought this place is in an industrial building. Very cozy, clean inside. Limited seating inside but there’s plenty of room outside in the grass area, they even provide some mats for you to use if you want to sit outside. Customer service was excellent and extremely helpful. The pizza is a bit pricey but worth it! We ordered: Meat your maker, The Bee Sting and Truffle Fun Guy…all these choices were delicious!! I honestly think you can’t go wrong with any of their choices!”

“like that they focus on being as vegan as possible, but it's not for true vegans - because their pulp becomes livestock feed. They say they're vegan, but it's just a guise. I wish they sold it as crackers or something - as they'd make more money and customers happier, but they said they're too small to. I guess that's their excuse for carnism - but it just doesn't feel right. They could just change the business model to smoothies, but well I don't expect that. The juices are alright - not much of a selection, but some are kind of unique - like the multi-apple juice. The bottles are nice for reusing - kind of. The ginger shot's great, but overall the juices are quite watery. Compare it to evolution fresh - that also turns their pulp into livestock feed - those juices still are superior - past night and way - it's incomparable almost.”

“I was referred this hidden gem by a friend to try their bakery, namely the “Laham be ajeen” aka (Safiha) but I was tempted to try their spinach pies, which turned out to be a great idea. Family enjoyed the pies more than the famous bakeries of Brookhurst of Anaheim. I have bought some Baraze’ too but unfortunately they seemed to have been slightly under-cooked so I had to give them a little bit of toasting. Maybe it’s a personal choice of mine to have sesame on baraze’ cookies a bit darker and more toasty.
Their cooking menu is good. I would order in advance.
In the small grocery section, I was surprised to find some middle eastern delicacies at a decent price such as the coveted brown truffles in brine. I filled up 😎

While they have a couple of tables, I didn’t feel it was suitable to sit. The view is the parking lot and other businesses.”

From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. They are also very COVID safe in case you are worried about venturing out and about. I would recommend the bakery to anyone needing a slice of Italy in Southern California! ❤️🇮🇹💚”

“I used to work a couple units from here about 8 years ago and I remember going often to buy their Danishes and mini muffins to share with my coworkers. One year my boss even got me a cake for my birthday from there too. I don't know if they sell to the public because I remember the manager at the time (Linda) she always was kind to let me buy them. I recently moved back to the area and I just love the smell.”

Decent prices, can actually get lunch for under 10$ I got a cheeseburger and Arnold palmer today and it was $8.67

“I have been going to this place for over 20 years and it has always been pretty good. But I went this morning for a breakfast burrito and was very surprised. They have their own homemade red salsa. There are a couple of tables outside as well. There’s also counter seating and plenty of parking in the free parking lot.”

I had a great experience at this Subway location. The food was fresh and prepared just the way I like it — plenty of crisp veggies, soft bread, and the perfect amount of sauce. The staff was friendly, quick, and efficient, making sure my order was correct and exactly to my liking.

The restaurant itself was very clean and well-kept, including the counters, dining area, and drink station. Everything looked tidy and organized, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Last time I came I ordered mac and cheese which used to be my favorite and to my disappointment it was watery and mushy.
