“Show Sushi is an AYCE sushi spot with a huge variety of options, from classic rolls to specialty rolls, sashimi, and cooked items. The selection is definitely the highlight—plenty to choose from and great if you’re coming hungry and want to try a little of everything. The food itself was decent and satisfying for an all-you-can-eat place.
However, the experience was brought down by the service. I understand they can get very busy, but the attitude of both the waiter and the host lady felt unwelcoming and a bit rushed. Friendly service goes a long way, especially in a place where guests are spending time ordering multiple rounds. Overall, good variety and solid AYCE value, but the service could really use improvement to match the food.”

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. Their menu includes breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toasts, old fashioned oatmeal, and build-your-own scramblers. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. Thank you to the owner, Haydee, and her family for providing such a great first experience. I'm now a loyal customer!”

“This is now our new favorite place. Wish I've known this place before. The food was delicious and generous. We had the Salmon Bento and Chicken Teri Plate. We loved it!!! It was a lot for me. I’ve been helped by Cristian a few times and he is so kind and attentive, a real gem. This last time I was helped by Cadence, too, who was great as well. “Easily my favorite diner in the San Dimas area. It’s a traditional American diner right in the heart of downtown San Dimas on what looks like good old-fashioned Main Street America. Parking in this area is extremely easy, there is a parking lot in the rear, but we were able to find a free space right out front. Inside is also very large with many different seating areas and seating options. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out fast and at a fair price.

The menu is really large and filled with all sorts of great American diner classics. I had heard so much about their Chicken Fried Steak and overheard many other diners ordering it before me so that’s what I chose for my breakfast and I was extremely satisfied with it. It was a large cut of meat and it had great flavor. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed them. I got a biscuit on the side, which was pretty small, but the flavor was really nice, I just wish it was larger in size.

Overall I would suggest to any diner fan in the area.”

From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. They are also very COVID safe in case you are worried about venturing out and about. I would recommend the bakery to anyone needing a slice of Italy in Southern California! ❤️🇮🇹💚”

“I used to work a couple units from here about 8 years ago and I remember going often to buy their Danishes and mini muffins to share with my coworkers. One year my boss even got me a cake for my birthday from there too. I don't know if they sell to the public because I remember the manager at the time (Linda) she always was kind to let me buy them. She was so kind and attentive not to mention very personable, as we had a great conversation. She was also very helpful because she was very knowledgeable about the different options. All of the subways in Irvine and OC in general are a joke because a lot of them have terrible customer service but Diana was the first good Subway employee in a while. I had a great experience at this Subway location. The food was fresh and prepared just the way I like it — plenty of crisp veggies, soft bread, and the perfect amount of sauce. The staff was friendly, quick, and efficient, making sure my order was correct and exactly to my liking.

The restaurant itself was very clean and well-kept, including the counters, dining area, and drink station. Everything looked tidy and organized, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
