“This was an incredible experience, the sandwiches were soooo good. You can tell the quality is superb. The deli also has a cute cafe inside where they serve really nice drinks (matcha, coffee, etc) with several syrup/flavor options, some of which are seasonal. The deli is also a super close walk to Alamo square and the painted ladies, which elevates the experience.“

“Loved this place! It's got a vintage farm vibe and it's so cute. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. We got there when they had just opened at 11 am so plenty of seating. I got the Fattoush sald, my hubby got the Spicy tuna sald and my daughter got the burrata grilled cheese. The salads were huge and so god and fresh. I was only able to eat half of it. My daughter ate all her sandwich which was rhe perfect size and she really liked the pesto and burratta on a soft roll. My husband ate his salad and it was super filling. We will definitely be back fir their fresh food.“

“If you’re inclined to eat supermarket bagels then I say FUHGEDABOUDIT.. Wise Sons bagels are the tops for fresh, crisp outer layer and soft chewy & airy middle ( not at all gummy like most others) especially Poppyseed! My regular☕️ & chat buddy really loves Everything BAGEL toasted with butter, Did I mention Poppyseed Naked ? Not me.. The Bagel! Otherwise for a more true NY bagel you’d have to go to H&H in Penn Station NYC.“

“We had Rompiballe Sandwich and The Milanese Sandwich. Our favorite one was The Milanese Sandwich even if both sandwiches were very tasty. It was very fresh and we liked the harmony of ingredients. “Made to order deli sandwiches. I really enjoyed my Embarcadero chicken sandwich and chips combo. There was a huge line so I scanned the QR code and ordered online. My food was ready well before the time it would have taken for me to get to the front of the line.

Not forgetting a Bagel, well made with a good skin and plenty of chew, Cream Cheese comes complimentary just as good Butter, real Maple Syrup and Jam do with Challah French Toast cooked golden but still custardy in the middle.“

The person running the shop is a wonderful person to speak to. While he made my sandwich, many people came in and had entire conversations with him. He knew at least half of them. A real neighborhood feel. And had gun conversations with everyone. It was kind of like a TV show. So: super friendly atmosphere and service.
