“Came here after a very disappointing and expensive dinner experience in hopes of feeling better 🤣 maybe I was inconsolable or maybe it just is a bit overhyped. It is good quality ice cream for sure, I got the ube pandan and the matcha gold, but being totally honest, I have had better. The girls working there were all super nice and let us sample several flavors, but I think I panicked trying to decide on flavors quickly because they were trying to keep the line moving, so I think I didn’t totally choose what would have hit the spot more. It was a rough night for me what can I say 🥲 I would come back though when I’m in a better mood lol“

“This place is fantastic!! I’ve ate a million burritos in the Mission, tried damn near every spot… but man that carne asada burrito I had last week might take the crown… that first bite I think I made an audible moan, ohhh lawddd 😤🤣“

“I came here with a friend one day for lunch (we had been looking forward to coming to Sarap Shop for a while and were finally able to align our schedules for a weekday, since the hours here are somewhat limited). I ordered the lechon carbonara since all of the dishes here with lechon appeared to be a popular choice online and this seemed like interesting take on dishes that were familiar to me, a fusion of Italian carbonara and Filipino lechon. To be honest, the dish was a tad too oily and salty for my preferences, but also so tasty! I ended up finishing most of it and bringing the rest home since it was a generous portion and a good balance of toppings/mix-ins and noodles. I'd look forward to ordering it again in the future.
The location was a bit... uncertain at first. Sarap Shop is located down a side street off of 4th St which is convenient if you're heading down to a game or concert. I went there from 3rd St and was a bit confused since it just looked like a residential area, but there it was! The red garage door (see other people's pics) was open so the business was indeed open, but my friend and I were confused at first since there was no one inside and it took a moment to realize we needed to order by QR code online. That was all fine, just a bit unexpected. (Other customers and delivery drivers that came in after us looked similarly confused by all the closed doors and closed serving windows inside, so perhaps they just need better signage for these cases?)
Overall a good experience and I look forward to another visit here and the chance to try something new :)“

“A great spot to stop by with the weather improving.
Even though not too busy on a friday midday the food was fresh and more than filled me up for $15.
Had a minor issue that was resolved quickly and guys were super nice.
The atmosphere at the parklet setup was good too.
Stop by for lunch and get refreshed before going back to the grind.“

“The food was truly incredible - I was blown away by the flavors! The halwa puri, nihari, and pani puri were all standout dishes. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal.“
“While visiting San Francisco’s Presidio National Park and the nearby Walt Disney Family Museum on August 11 2023, we came upon several food trucks parked up, one of which was El Fuego Authentic Mexican. It had the longest line of them all so we figured the food must be good. The delicious smell also was a big draw! We joined the long line and waited patiently for 15 minutes to be served. As we neared the truck, a lady crossed out the fish tacos on the menu - they must have been popular. We had to quickly rethink what we’d like to order. We went for the following (to share): 🌮 Combo de Lux 🥤 Mexican Coca-Cola (500ml in glass bottles) x 2 The Combo de Lux consisted of: Soft taco x 1 Mulita (sandwich taco) x 1 Quesabirria x 1 Consommé (broth) Pots of mild and spicy salsa We were given a pager so we would know when to return to the hatch. It was an exciting 10 minute wait while the tasty delights were freshly prepared inside the food truck. We took our food over to some large plastic rocking chairs on the Main Parade Lawn (opposite the Walt Disney Family Museum) and tucked in without delay. The food was incredible: full of birria-style beef, cheesy, spicy, tasty, juicy. We had to take great care when eating it, as it was a breezy day and we didn’t want to make a mess. The consommé was new to us. We didn’t dip the quesabirria into the broth - we drank it! The flavors were very rich, with a little spicy kick. El Fuego really was a good choice and just what we needed for lunch having walked many miles around San Francisco. These were our first authentic tacos in California and the benchmark has now been set very high!“

“What a delicious treat! My brother brought us to Golden Gate Park and as we were walking around, we came across the Twirl & Dip food truck. My brother said it was one of his favourite places to get ice cream, so we had to try it. I got the TCHO-dipped banana with sprinkles! The chocolate layer was thick 😋 It was the perfect dessert for a sunny day ☀️

“While this was better than “fair”(3 stars) it really wasn’t “very good”(4 stars). I had the Mushroom Rendang - the mushrooms and tofu were yummy, the greens were just okay, but the curried jackfruit was yuck - it tasted like they forgot the seasoning and just served plain jackfruit (maybe that’s why they hid it under the rice crackers!). This is a food truck in a cool area of San Francisco called Spark Social SF. There’s a Bay Area themed mini golf course, lots of picnic tables and covered outdoor couches, and many food trucks. This place had the most vegan options by far. I would go again to try something else. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-20“
