“I love this starbucks but they be playing taylor swift NONSTOP. I spend hours studying there multiple days of the week, and i’m not joking when I say taylor swift is the only thing I hear the entirety of being there. The music used to be fine but I think someone else got to control the music because I swear I have not heard any other artist but taylor swift in there.“
“Ok, i'll admit it I Hate STARBUCKS!! But i was meeting a Friend who i hadn't Seen forever visiting from LA & He insisted & we went to the 1 in the Castro and my God, they DID A GREAT JOB on the re model and The Staff are ALWAYS great and i had too much Coffee Already that Day so i just had water AND IT WAS FINE but i do not really need to go Back !! There are So Many Great Coffees and Cafes in SF & i get it / STARBUCKS are everywhere and fast but Again = Not for Me !!“
“This Starbucks is the cleanest, most well organized, and with the friendliest staff. The place has ample seating and a great ambiance, and very chill background music that is not too loud. The staff is very friendly, particularly Victor and Brandon, who pay great care to make you feel welcome. It's my favorite hangout for morning coffee on the weekends. Also, there is tons of paid parking, and there is always space available.“
“I want the owner to know I work hard and when I buy coffee or food at a restaurant or such as Starbucks bistro listen I expect. Let me say this for management and staff Job well done I thank you all on the front line working hard and being so polite friendly and each time I order for pick up or if I'm in store my food and coffee is hot and ready to go. Please keep that customer service up this is what makes me return. Please give them all a bonus or raise seriously this a paying customer.“
“All the staff here are great but the barista Lex at this Starbucks is one of the kindness baristas I’ve met. She’s always in such a good mood, seems to know all her customers by name and is always so bubbly and friendly. That can’t be easy in such a busy and demanding area. She’s a gem!“
“My best matcha Latte ever … and best Starbucks employee Dani 💗👏👏👏
… Good news Brian Niccol! Let me introduce you to a model Starbucks employee who creates organic reviews and makes customers with little time, stop to give you wonderful feedback! Dani .. your barista at the Starbucks branch at 1700 Owens Street, San Francisco. She is wonderful not only for the quality of her impeccable matcha latte, but for the wonderful warmth and quality of Dani's customer service! Hey Starbucks team! You should use this girl as a model of leadership and example! Don't let her beauty and friendliness distract you, Dani is young, but her leadership stands out, she knows how to manage with kidness and above all excellence her brilliant work. After seeing her work with other customers, with speed and great communication and observing how she interacts in synchrony of efficiency and cordiality, this girl deserves a promotion! And Starbucks, a round of applause for hiring such a distinguished employee.“
“I came here on a hot day, I was in the area where I was in need of a refresher to cool me down. Upon arrival, the interior was dim and the air conditioning was on which felt so good. I was greeted by their very welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs which made my visit a satisfying and memorable one. The shop itself was very clean for a Starbucks. They offer many kinds of coffee, lattes, refreshing drinks, Frappuccinos, snacks, sandwiches, pastries and much more to choose from. All the drinks are made to order which is always a plus for me, because I do not mind the wait since I am a very patient person. I would have to say having a Starbucks here is a win, because it is on a Main Street and it is always someone’s craving. I highly recommend this place to all coffee enthusiasts, if you are in need of a quick bite, or to anyone looking for a laid back place to hangout at or to get some work done. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious/refreshing options they have to offer.“
“At first glance, this is a really cozy Starbucks, with a simple but cool interior. The staff are friendly and welcoming. However, this place is also a bit of a hotspot for the homeless. While we were sitting there, almost more homeless people came in asking for water than customers came in. For this reason, the toilets were also not very nice, as they were used for other than toilet visits.“
“Such a cool little Starbucks. No places to sit this is mostly just a to go Starbucks. But the workers were super friendly and they have a cool window you can watch the workers make the drinks thru! Street parking here with limited spots. Would def recommend coming here!“
“It’s so nice to be able to leave a positive review, your Starbucks deserves it!
Barista was helpful, friendly, most importantly make an incredible caramel Frappuccino.
Also, one of the few Starbucks I can sit in Ava charge my devices while working.
I’ll be back for sure.“
“The staff here is nothing short of amazing. They were very thoughtful and attentive. There’s just a very relaxed vibe here. My husband had a meeting to take and I read my book. The music is quiet enough to be productive but still drown out people talking. Easily one of the best Starbucks in SF.
Wheelchair accessibility: I saw a man in a wheelchair come in and use the restroom, so I’m assuming it’s wheelchair friendly.“
“Located on the 4th floor in Macy's. You'll be lucky if you get a window seat and enjoy your coffee while looking out over Union Square.
The Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino I had was delicious. And it was my first time here, but I like how they don't leave out the drinks for mobile order. Just in case another customer accidentally takes it. I did a mobile order as soon as I saw a long line. I'm glad to see they're using clear cups, I can't stand Frappuccinos in paper cups.
I initially wanted to order my drink at the Starbucks near the Lions Gate by Chinatown, but I didn't know they closed.
Overall, I had a great experience and hopefully I get a seat by the windows.“
“This is a great Starbucks! In my experience the service has been very friendly and professional as well as quick, even in busy times. There are seats and cheerful lighting. My drink is always made delicious and correct. The vanilla bean custard snack is also so good! Thank you!“
“Every time I call in my order for the coffee traveler, they always have it ready for me on time. Very friendly staff. Never a shortage of coffee travelers.
I come here very often to this location on Irving and 19th whenever the Starbucks on 5455 Geary Blvd 😠(near my place of work-construction) run out of coffee travelers (very often 😠) especially early in the morning around 8am on the weekdays.“
“They valued my birthday voucher I would come here. I had the best service here and I would recommend coming here they prepared my strawberry matcha latte as a full time student they valued my time and I valued their time as well. This was my third time coming here and they do value your loyalty points.“
“This Starbucks location is very impressive. I've been going through a lot in my life and the atmosphere is very uplifting for me and they are very friendly and accommodating to me. I feel like this is a very judge free zone. I highly recommend this location for anyone. Great place. The staff even when they're not helping customers sound very happy and carry themselves with a great attitude.“
“This is one of the warmest and most generous Starbucks I have visited across California. From the professional , warm district manager to the diverse and equitable staff/baristas. I felt instantly at home and they are truly a little blessing in the community.I appreciated that they let me read, study and charge my phone while I waited to become hungrier, they even let me bring in my water cup from Philz which was nice and so eco friendly. I also heard how they upkept the health standards by announcing washing hands every 30 minutes. They have special treats for doggies as well and it is genuinely a tidy store. Definitely if I had a choice this would be my spot every time just for the atmosphere and positive vibes, it's truly just a plus that they all care for the hospitality they provide ?“
“I went in on a Wednesday afternoon around 3, it was pretty empty but an employee named Bryan greeted me immediately and was helpful in helping me decided what I wanted. He took the time to strike a conversation with me and even ask me how the drink was. Would definitely recommend this location! It’s right next to the cable car turn around and it was very cool to watch!“
“I usually don't go to the Starbucks inside Target, but this location is exceptionally clean and spacious. Barista Hannah was so kind to remake our drink when I mentioned it wasn't to my liking; she had a wonderful attitude and ensured the second drink met our expectations. Thank you, Hannah!“
“Areli and Jocelyn Made my day special. The drink was awesome and if I do say so life changing. I am not their family or friends and I voted for Trump so you know I must’ve really loved them. They are seriously some of the best Starbucks baristas ever ❤️“
“Awesome Starbucks!
I come here on a daily basis, so I am somewhat of a regular.
I come often, but they always do not take drink shortcuts and make drinks to the perfect recipe. I come here and NEVER feel like it was made with too little shots, not shaken, or any issues. The drinks are always exactly as they should be.
The manager, as such always follows policy and never overcharges me for anything, and the shift managers are always extremely nice to me and are very receptive!“
“We came twice on our trip to SF, the staff was super friendly from the first time we came in. It made us come here again and Olivia remembered us and greeted us with amazing service. Everyone went above and beyond for the service.
This is our first time to such amazing treatment
We will definitely come here again if we come back to SF just for the service 🥳“
“I work here. We try our best for the nonstop lines that we get all day. We don't receive tips like normal Starbucks so it kinda wears down on our energy. So if you come in with a positive attitude and remember to say thank u it really makes our day. We don't ask for much but patience and gratitude. Oh and try not to stare to hard at us when we make your drinks lol it makes us feel like we're zoo animals. Thank u guys ♥️“
“Of course it was five stars it's a Starbucks. They're all alone. Although this one is in a grocery store. That's okay. Google maps had a little trouble telling me exactly where it is though because it said I had a ride then I looked there and I didn't see it but I didn't see a Starbucks and I'll figure it out maybe I better go check out Safeway and see if there's a Starbucks there there and sure enough there it was.“
“I usually go to Starbucks on 24th Street. Food and Coffee are reasonably priced. Service is good and there’s always a place to sit and enjoy. I usually have their protein container of cheese, fruits and crackers with a cup of their Coffee.“
“This is a small Starbucks so there is nowhere to sit. It's grab and go ☕
I recommend using the app to order in advance since it's tourist busy given the location and tourists are slow as they're on vacation“
“It would be wonderful if they got their consistency together. You can order the exact same thing. Go to 50 different Starbucks, and you get 50 different versions.
L, o, l, no, it's not that bad. But sometimes it seems like it is. But hey, when it is good, it's very good.“
“Great location many complaints are irrelevant to this location such as the no lids is a policy from sf unfortunately, the workers try their best accommodating everyone’s needs unlike most establishments, lets be real what other company constantly allows drinks to get remade for free because you didn’t like it or was late to picking it up …“
“A friend of mine frequenced this Starbucks because it's very close to her house. When the other three Starbucks that are in her area are out of things on the app. This Starbucks seems to always be properly up to date. I'm not sure if the stores are what update the apps or if it's something else, but I appreciate that up to dateness that they have. The employees here are also unnaturally kind! I have never been inside of this Starbucks when it is not busy. At any point in the day. I feel like there can be at least 15 to 20 people here just waiting for a drink that they ordered online and the employees are being unnaturally kind and speedily working to get everything in order and correct to the customer.
Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant and I always make sure I put soy down for any of the milks I have. There's been a few times that I've also done oat, but either way I'm normally ordering through the app and I've never had a problem at this location with my drink being the wrong kind of milk.
Parking: There's no parking lot near this area, just the curve. Most of the time people are ordering through the app at this location to quickly go in and go out. So there are times where traffic can be a little wild here because people will just park their car in the middle of the street if the sidewalk parking is already taken. If you have someone else who can get out of the car to get the drink, I highly recommend going across the street and parking somewhere on that side of the curb so that your car might not get stuck in between. Some other cars also running in to get their drink.“
“Had the best experience with Kate today! She was awesome, so helpful, and friendly. I went in to buy a cup of coffee for a homeless man outside and she was so awesome about it. Wish I could thank her more, but hopefully she sees this! Thank you so much!“
“I’ve been coming to the Noe Valley Starbucks for a while now, and Salvador is hands-down one of the best baristas I’ve ever met. He’s warm, genuine, and always on point. whether it’s during a calm afternoon or the morning rush. You can tell he actually cares about the people who come in, not just the drinks.
He’s the reason I keep coming back. One day he recommended the Iced Shaken Espresso with oat milk and one pump of brown sugar syrup — and now I can’t imagine ordering anything else. It’s perfectly smooth, not too sweet, and hits every time.
If you stop by this Starbucks, hope Salvador’s on bar. He’ll make your drink and your day better. Starbucks Noe Valley is lucky to have him.“
“There were a few great baristas that had very good positive attitudes and good kindness I don’t remember names but she is in one of ur pictures with holiday cap or something in her hair but she was the best I miss going there a seeing the happy faces of the staff“
“I Went Inside To Order Delicious Coffee Before Work And The Woman That Helped Me Asian, Black Glasses Was Very Professional, Very Helpful, And Very Efficient, And Very Knowledgeable, About The Coffee. I Will Definitely, Return. Restored Faith, In Customer
“
“I was there back in 2022. It was early in the morning, everything was closed. My phone almost dead, no maps no nothing in that city, I stumbled upon this Starbucks on King st. And I had a pleasure of meeting one of the sweetest souls ever. I do not remember the name of the barista, unfortunately. I was genuinely amazed by their vibes and just had this sudden urge to give them a compliment, and I did. And I thought nothing much of it. But then when I took my card out to pay for the hot chocolate they said “It’s on me”. I did not expect it, and It was one of the sweetest memory of that whole trip. They were the first person i interacted with in San Francisco, and it definitely gave a great start to the trip. Whoever you were, I want you to know that I remember you, and I told every single one of my friends about how kind you were to me. Thank you for the sweet memory.“
“Now I am no connoisseur of Coffee nor will I ever boast of being one, however I can tell you this Starbucks really makes the Star come to mind. being elevated I would guess 4 or 5 levels above the ground nestled into the side of the Salesforce Tower completely shocked me when I first laid eyes on it the first time. this Beautiful Creation that is the salesforce park a feat of modern ingenuity and know how complimented with a brilliant idea of attaching the park to the building and letting absolutely anyone share a cup of coffee in the tallest building in San Francisco. You may not be on the top floor or the viewing deck but either way is definitely a neat experience. I would recommend to anyone looking for something to occupy your afternoon or want to take a walk somewhere with a friend or even alone make your destination Starbucks at the Salesforce Park you will not be let down. The Baristas were very knowledgeable and willing to create just about any concoction you could imagine. Starbucks really pulled out the nice dinner plates for this location the interior is very warm and welcoming in a moderately windy area so can come as a well needed break even though the park itself has areas to which you can sit and get out of the wind but none have the ingenious romance of Visibly pleasing qualities paired with that of the aromatic essence from the freshly ground coffee beans. All in all this Starbucks is my favorite Starbucks I have ever visited Just the marriage of the park and Starbucks was a wonderful idea that everyone who walks up is able to enjoy. 10/10 for me it may not be a landmark or historical place of San Francisco but if you are a tourist put this on your list of to do's since it will also take you to an astonishing park on top of a bus terminal 4 or 5 stories above street level with views that will take you breath away but at least the park has all the foliage, plants and trees to when you do catch you breath at least it will be a fresh one. Thank you for taking the time to read my Review I am Jonathan Ellmann and I will post a new review tomorrow. I will do so every day and I will begin recording my times in these locations and post it on YouTube to show all the wonderful things San Francisco has to offer so come take a trip with me all over San Francisco, The Bay Area and who knows where this might take me!“
“I had ordered a pink drink with no fruit on it and than I left to go home after sometime I send my cousin to get my order and they messed up my order they gave me strawberry lemonade besides of pink drink and I can’t return it since my cousin has already drink out of it! The overall the service and drinks are good!“
“This is the best Starbucks crew I've ever come across.. they pay attention to detail.. very customer friendly... I can't say enough about how good they are.. Starbucks should be proud to have these well trained baristas.. (it is inside of a Safeway so they take food stamps)“
“Being from Seattle, WA This starbucks has one of the best curb appeals I have ever seen! The view looking in and out are amazing. You get a full view of the Fisherman's Wharf right accross the street. Great people watching and you can see Alcatraz!
Staff here was super friendly but felt understaffed at times or may have been in the wrong play to support the floor partners. This can be a busy location, please be kind and courteous while you wait. Generally you're on vacation, enjoy the minute you have to enjoy the views from inside looking out. ? It costs nothing to be kind to service workers, remember that!“
“I wanted to take a moment and give a big shout out to Gaby. They were out of muffins one day, I came back the next morning and she said “we’ve got your blueberry muffin today!!” She remembered me from the day before. This is exemplary customer service. Thank you so much, Gaby!!“
“My secondary Starbucks when the one on Chestnut is closed.Great location, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere. They've always made my drink correctly!I don't go to this one super often just because it's futher away from my work, but I'll come here if my shift is earlier and the Chestnut one isn't open, or if the one on Chestnut closes early. It's always a wonderful experience here though!“
“Good coffee... This one two years ago I left this review but in this year 2024 it is the second time that it does not have a caramel flavor frapuccino it is tasteless the young man was talking and talking something he did not put this simple without flavor“
“It’s Starbucks what can I say. Unfortunately they can’t hold on to good employees because the cost of living in this area is so high. As soon as I get to know a barista well enough for them to do my drink right they move on. Due to a constant turnover of staff I ranked them 4⭐️and that was generous.“
“Emelda was extremely knowledgeable about the various coffee and tea options on the menu, and she took the time to help me choose the perfect drink to suit my preferences. Her attention to detail and commitment to making sure every customer is satisfied truly sets her apart.“
“The workers are extremely and hard working , especially areli , I never see them slack off and they are efficient. they don’t run out of supplies easily which is really good and it’s nice to go here for a little break to relax. Really sunny area.“
“Yes! Hot coffee and heated chocolate croissant. Love that this place is open for business at sunup. Pleasant and professional workers. Great view of Palace of Fine Arts too! Ann was a wonderful sales lady (barista?) to help serve me these last four days.“
