Food is clean eating and delicious, we ordered a ton and loved everything.

The mackerel, mushrooms, scallion chicken, and short rib were incredible. Got one of their highball cocktails as well which was insanely refreshing and a great balance of sweet and sour.

“Absolutely blown away by this sushi spot. It’s a hidden gem with the perfect mix of cozy romantic ambiance and truly top tier sushi. The lighting is soft and intimate which makes it ideal for a date night or a quiet evening to treat yourself.

The nigiri is next level. Fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. I highly recommend sitting at the bar and letting the chef choose a few pieces for you if you’re open minded.

Because of the chef I discovered that I absolutely LOVE Horse Mackerel Nigiri, Kutuso, and Shima Aji. These were things I probably never would have picked on my own but now I can’t stop craving them.

Every piece felt like it was crafted with care and precision. You can really taste the passion and expertise behind each bite.

“We love the food at Bansang. We went for the second time last night before catching a show at The Fillmore and it did not disappoint! All of the flavors are so delicious and well balanced. We had the Kimchi Salad that was mixed nicely with winter chicories... truffle and mushroom Japchae- some mushrooms were fried some sauteed over a wide glass noodle- yum! The Korean Steak Tartare with a quail egg- nicely seasoned and a crispy seaweed cup... the pork jowl boss am with lettuce leaves, juicy and sweet with a tiny hint of spice. And the kimchi rice, because yum!!! This is our new go to before any shows at the Fillmore. The ambiance and service is also very nice.“

“Such a special place. Similar to La Ciccia, Binu Bonu maintains a lovely neighborhood feel. Huge selection of wine (all of it new to me and something I really liked), wonderful charcuterie type small plates (out of this world olives). “First brewery of the day and what an excellent neighborhood brew pub sitting on the corner of Bryant St and Cesar Chavez St. A lot to choose from so we went high ABV with the Hazed & Confused Double Hazy IPA at 9%. We both enjoyed it.“

“Absolutely delicious! This restaurant is Halal. We ordered the Chicken platter and the Lamb and Beef combo wrap with Hummus. It was delicious and the quantity was large as well. The wrap was stuffed with meat and the platter was as well. Definitely recommend.“

“Happy hour menu is so good. The skewer platter is a great meal and also much love to the agedashi tofu. I drank a lot of hot sake and enjoyed just hanging out. I would avoid the beef tongue because it was a bit dry. The wagyu beef skewer was spot on.“

“Okay, honestly really good food. My wife and I had the penne pesto, I added the grilled chicken and also asked for some Parmesan and red pepper flakes on the side. The pesto was tasty and the pasta was nicely cooked, the chicken was also super tasty. Highly recommend if you need a meal!

Only ding is that the music from the neighboring convenience mart could be heard contrasting the music played in vino volo.“

“We had the most wonderful dinner tonight at Noren Izakaya! Everything was fantastic from start to finish! From the service to the cocktails to the variety of food, to the dessert! Japanese yakitori and grilled street food and even sashimi! My new favorite! A must if you live or are visiting San Francisco! Oh! And tonight is not the night to skip dessert! 😘“

“Definitely a great spot! It’s certainly not guaranteed that you’ll have a spot, but our group of 4 managed to get seats. Our server, Don was a great host and made us feel comfortable and not rushed at all. You’re much more likely to find seats as a smaller group, but it’s worth checking it out.“
