“The lounge is conveniently located within Hilton San Gabriel. It was spacious and comfortable. The staff were inviting, friendly and extremely efficient. They took wonderful care of us. For lunch we ordered: clam chowder, Caesar salad, beef taquitos with guacamole dip and Parma ham and mozzarella flat bread. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and delicious. My only two suggestions would be to serve crackers with the soup and maybe change the flatbread sauce to a marinara. I had an old fashioned with my meal which I really enjoyed. The drink was well balanced.The lounge is a non tipping restaurant. It’s odd I know, at least for me it is. The tip was already added to the final bill and we paid approximately 65+“

“There is a restaurant here called Pa Pa Walk! Sam the owner and his brother are a few of his employees. They are very nice. There is usually a line out the door. Make sure you sign in on the form hanging outside!Seating: A bit cramped, but its busy.

Parking: Cramped, but there is a lot downstairs. Don't park in Hotel parking.Service: When I am there I ususally get a water pretty quickly. They might not be the best at followup but if you are enjoying your food and DESSERT then you will be fine.Food: They serve Taiwanese foods like shaved ice, boba, slush, teas, coffee, popcorn chicken, stinky tofu, leek bun, coffin bread (with cream soup inside), dumplings, chicken/pork chop rice, sausage rice, fried rice, noodles, and they just recently added hot-pot to their menu. I also like their beef noodle soup!I love their mango shaved ice when it is in season. Their fluff ice is just fabulous!“

“My friend and I had an exquisite dining experience at Bar Sawa. Each course was prepared and presented to perfection. The place was a little tricky to find; there were no signs, and it was in the basement of a very unexpected building. You can also only get down there through the middle elevator! The instructions to get to the restaurant were emailed, but I didn't get to read it in time, so it was my fault. ? We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, ambiance and the entire experience. Highly recommend!“

“Food, wine, service and vibes were exceptional! We made resys for a wine night and the outdoor seating was cozy, with a heated lamp keeping us warm. Our server was sweet and helped us sample some wines - we chose an orange wine and sparkling wine which both paired perfectly with the food.

For food, highly rec the mentaiko spaghetti, fries with yuzu aoili, chicken wings, and citrus salad! Dessert is a must - loveee the hojicha tres leches and black sesame rice krispy.

Portions are small, but perf for sharing with friends and wine selection is lovely.“

“I was a doorman to one of the Main Street bars, and customers would always tell me to go checkout Jay Dee's. So I finally did after 2 years. It's a cool place to hang out and have a drink. Drinks are reasonable, and it's a cash only bar. Customers are friendly too, & no haters. Has pool tables and darts. No, dj, but they have a jukebox playing cool music. Bartenders are friendly and treat everyone like family. I would go back 😊👍🍻🥂“

Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. “The bar is absolutely amazing. The bartenders know how to delicious drinks. When I walked in, I went straight to the bar to order my drink. The bartender quickly came to me to take my drink order. I asked for an Old Fashion and the bartender jumped right to it. The inside has a very cool vibe. There is a pool table and also a stage. The bar also has a Jukebox that plays awesome music. The bar offers outdoor seating in the front and private area in the back. Definitely recommend stopping by you will not be disappointed.“

The workers are nice and the drinks are made strong and cold the way they should be. It’s a chill vibe. I didn't see that option there yet so I contacted them. I received a very fast response and I was able to order very quickly! I think we had to wait 3 weeks and then it was already there. super fast service!
