“This particular branch is located inside Mitsuwa; to the left when you walk in...past Hokkaido Ramen Santouka. They do a great job with the Mochi Donuts here. The Mochi Cupcakes are also very good. While this isn't a standalone venue, the menu here seems to be expanding frequently. In addition to their standard Mochi Donuts they keep adding new items. Not that I'm complaining...just an observation. Actually I'm ecstatic! I haven't seen some of these creative new items before. #Sugar ~ Matcha Mochisada - 5/5 These were amazing. Not too sweet or bitter, perfectly balanced Matcha cream on the inside. ~ Mochi Cupcake Black Sesame - 4/5 Excellent flavor. Not too sweet or bitter and the texture is spot on; delightfully chewy without being too dry. “The best cookies I’ve had in a while. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but these are so so good! I love the new variety of flavors every week and how they’re so unique and different than the generic cookies you buy in the grocery store. The price isn’t too bad either! For a box of 6 cookies it’s $22 but the cookies are HUGE. I can never finish one by myself so I leave them to the rest of my family. Lindley — a wonderfully kind and talented baker/entrepreneur — created the most delicious mini chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and fresh fruit shortbread tarts for our celebration.

The portions were perfect, and the flavors were balanced — not overly sweet like so many bakeries. Lindley personally delivered the desserts right on time and even included a handwritten card, which added such a thoughtful and beautiful touch to our special day!“

“We stopped by here to grab some donuts and breakfast sandwiches. We got custard filled chocolate glazed donut, raspberry jelly donut, roasted beef sandwich, and turkey and egg sandwich. The lady working the counter was very friendly and nice. She gave us free glazed donut. The donuts and croissant were very delicious… right amount of sweetness and good texture.

The place itself is quite run down with old faded exterior and interior. So good place for takeout.

K&J catered for a large youth event at my workplace, and I could not have asked for a better food provider. Her husband delivered the food and set it up, and she rolled with the punches when I had to make an edit to my order day of. She was flexible and still friendly. “I was on my lunch break looking for some comfort food and knew just the place to go. Their self-serving fridge is usually stocked with great savory pies, but I’d been wanting to try the pork sausage rolls. The owner came out from the kitchen to tell me they just finished making more pies to fill up the fridge and the Chicken Tiki sounded good. Since it was freshly made and not frozen, the cook time would be much faster for my time crunch time than the frozen rolls. It smelled great cooking in the toaster oven, but when I got to cut into the innards, oh, so, tasty! Highly recommend Celtic Tea Shoppe for their awesome savory pies…and, btw, the pork roll was great as well!“

“Jessica and her team at Fancy Flavors Bakeshop did it again! This is the second gluten-free cake that I have ordered in less than two months. This was a custom ordered cake for my daughter’s birthday. I communicated with Jessica through email and we were able to come up with the design of what I wanted for my daughter’s cake. The cake came out beautifully! My daughter loved it, and everyone said that it tasted great. They couldn’t believe that it was gluten-free. “Stopped by Cocola at Santana Row right at opening on a Saturday. No crowd at all, which made it a relaxing start to the day. I got a hot mocha, the flavor was average, but the portion size was generous and the price surprisingly affordable for Santana Row.

Tried the mushroom croissant and was really pleased. it had a nice savory umami flavor. Also had a pistachio croissant, which was decent but tasted like it wasn’t made fresh that morning. Pastries are on the pricier side and the quality is average.

Service was fast and the baristas were friendly. Outdoor seating was lovely, and there’s plenty of parking, but it’s only free for the first two hours.“

Taro sesame balls are so good. The perfect, almost crispy exterior is met with delicate inside texture. Of course not too sweet but just the right amount of sweetness. Loved the amount of sesame on the outside, too.

I also got pandan waffle. I liked it more than the one I got in Little Saigon before. I’d come here for that next time. The yellow steamed cake (not sure what this is called) was bit denser than I was expecting, but still, nice subtle sweetness - something I’d love to make at home.“

“I ordered a 4 tier cake for my wedding. I asked if they would be able to do the old vintage cake designs. I was told yes. I sent several detailed emails and pictures of what I wanted. The cake was NOTHING close in design, outside of 4 levels, nothing else looked like the pictures. Only one of the colors, only a couple flowers. Then, 1 hour into the reception the cake fell over. I never even got to cut my 4 tiered cake! When I brought it up after, she blamed the heat. There was air conditioning in the venue! She offered to redo it for pictures. I agreed then never heard from her. I contacted her multiple times and I just today get an email from her saying she can't do that after all. I lost money, had a mediocre cake that looked nothing like the inspo picture I sent, and had my cake fall over and barely salvaged enough for the guests. This is a horrible business who doesn't care about making a cake for something as important as a wedding. My dream cake was ruined. I should've gone with someone else. What a horrible bakery. Liars and unprofessional. If you don't know how to do vintage designs don't sat you do! And do not offer a remake if you don't mean it! If you're looking for a multi tiered wedding cake, do not use them!“

“I was looking for a bakery to get my 1 year old a cake, since it was last minute that we decided to get him a cake for his birthday today and I wasn’t expecting to find a place that would make it right on the spot, but I was lucky enough to find Nubia’s Pastelería..they told me that they only take orders but that since it was a small cake they would do an exception and decided to take my order and had the cake ready within 30 minutes. “My favorite local donut shop. They tend to be busy but they get people in and out very quickly. They have a variety of fresh yummy donuts and usually thrown in an extra when you purchase a dozen. My favs are the glaze, chocolate and cinnamon twists - love the classics. Their breakfast croissant sandwiches are really good too. I like the #1 with jalapenos. Can't go wrong here!“

Today one of our friend whom has walking issue went to this location and we end up going back to this store. A Lady name Brittany greeted us. Friendly with excellent service, clean cups, clean dishes, clean coffee dispensers. Hot water was hot. It is good to see that new employees are making a difference.
