“I was really excited to visit this shop after watching their YouTube videos. You can clearly see how much passion they have for coffee and how committed they are to supporting the community, which is what made me want to come in.
I stopped by on a Monday to buy a bag of whole beans to brew at home. I asked for a recommendation and mentioned I was planning to do pour-overs. I was also trying to find something that was not fruity and leaned more bold, since I have had light, fruity coffees in the past that were not my preference.
I was recommended a Flower Child coffee, which turned out to be very light and fruit-forward. While it was not the right fit for my personal taste, it was clearly a high-quality coffee and I can see why someone who enjoys floral and fruity profiles would really love it.
I think this shop shines in the quality of their beans and the care they put into sourcing. For customers who are still learning coffee terminology, a bit more guidance or clearer labeling could make the experience even better.
Overall, this is a great spot with knowledgeable people and a strong mission, and I definitely plan on coming back. Now that I know more about how to describe what I like, I am excited to try something else next time.“

“I only buy my coffee beans here! I have tried multiple places and the quality just isn't the same. I usually buy two bags, Kenya and Ethiopia. Both have great flavors and aromas! If you make your own coffee at home, I would definitely recommend buying their beans! I also occasionally buy their Nutella latte, iced, and that is also a good drink if you want something with some flavor!“

“Just walked in randomly from one of my walks. This space is really tiny, but cozy. When I walked, then it was really empty, and I was only customer. I wasn’t feeling like coffee, so I got the drink with mango and Boba and coconut milk. It was thick and tasty and very rich. I also got the banana bread to go with it and it was an okay banana bread. Nothing special. I wouldn’t probably come here to have a cafe experience, but rather to just get coffee on the go.“

“Cute place to do work, a couple of tables/seats and the service was good and fast! I do agree with others who said that $7 for a drink that is fairly small is a bit expensive. However I do appreciate that they have cool fun flavors. Also be mindful that theres not a lot of outlets if you are there to do work.“

“This place had all the vibes of the perfect donut shop, from the delicious donuts to the lovely atmosphere. Stopped by on break to grab an apple fritter, which was excellent, and the jelly filled options are also excellent. The shop owners were kind and inviting, and I highly recommend everyone stop by to try out their selection. (note: they are cash only, but there is an ATM on site)
Parking: Parking in San Francisco is either super easy or impossible, depending on how lucky you are.
Wheelchair accessibility: Super accessible, at street level and the sidewalk has ramps just in front of the building.“

“If you're ever in San Jose and craving a fresh, early-morning treat, Rollo Donuts at 602 N 13th St, San Jose, CA is a must-visit! 🍩✨
They open as early as 4 AM, making it the perfect stop for early risers and commuters. We tried their apple fritters, glazed donuts, and chocolate-glazed donuts — and wow! Every bite was soft, airy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. Not overly sugary, just balanced and delicious.
They also serve croissant sandwiches, baked fresh daily — so it’s not just donuts here!
Located in the heart of San Jose, this cozy neighborhood spot gives off warm, welcoming vibes and seriously delivers on flavor.
📍 Fresh. Local. Worth the stop.“

“Con Azúcar is a cozy Mexican-style coffee shop with lots of charm. I ordered the hot chocolate and Mexican sweet bread, and both were comforting and flavorful. The hot chocolate was rich without being overly sweet, and the pan dulce tasted fresh. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed coffee break. Service was friendly, and while there’s a little room to be wowed even more, it’s definitely a spot I’d come back to.“

“Tōno is a pretty cool little spot to grab a coffee. Not a huge selection of stuff, but given that it’s kind of a popup situation, that’s to be expected. What they do have is quite nice, however. The latte was delicious, and the PB&J rice crispy treat was quite good as well.
Definitely recommend checking this place out. Do check their IG for hours, though. Google seems to be showing this place as being temporarily closed, but as of writing this, they aren’t.“

“Thank you Con Azucar Cafe for blocking out an hour for our gym fam! We hosted a party bus for our gym families for christmas and our first stop was this cafe, due to the amount of people we had, the cafe kindly closed for us for an hour and we were so grateful!, considering we had many toddlers and children. They loved the giant Abuelita hot cocoa and the giant Gingerbread. It was the perfect treat! Clean restrooms, beautiful space, great service & good coffee!“

“Acha is a decent spot to grab some coffee or boba (or both). They open nice and early, which is somewhat uncommon for places that offer boba. For me, sometimes I want a little something different with my morning coffee, so it's nice that I can come here for that.
The inside of the shop is pretty decent, but the general area and strip mall is a little questionable. Even with that, you can tell they are putting in a good amount of effort to try and make the shop feel nice.
Service was okay. A little slow, but not too bad all things considered. Could have been because I was there early. Your mileage may vary.“

“Stumbled upon this eatery while looking for a coffee shop after a grueling Costco run! It is super conveniently located right next to the Costco Almaden. Not only is the coffee excellent, but the banh mi is one of the better ones we’ve tried….Especially the bread! I love that there is a limited choice, but whatever is made is made well. We’ve tried the chicken and the veggie/tofu banh mi. But really the bread is the best part….I know I said that once already. The sandwich could do with some more veggies but you can always pay for some extras. We’ve been there three times and there’s a host of younger people working in the store and the service is always pleasant and quick. There’s plenty of seating inside and outside. If you’re in the mood for coffee and some quick bites, this is the place.“

“I just have to say that I had the most wonderful service at Starbucks this morning. I have been coming in consistently to get my iced vanilla latte and breakfast sandwiches this past week and between yesterday and today, I had to replace my debit card due to suspicious activity. I was issued a temporary card which doesn’t include the chip and upon ordering my usual order, my card was not being accepted. I didn’t realize that it didn’t have a chip until it was too late, and we tried other options to accept it, but it wouldn’t work.
My barista was Blair, and he had consistently seen me coming in over the course of the past week as well. He was so sweet and kind, and as I’m scrambling to figure out what else I can do, he actually covered my coffee and sandwiches. I was absolutely shocked and replied to him, “Seriously? Omg, are you sure?” it was so unexpected and it was incredibly gracious of him to do that for someone.
I really enjoy coming to this particular Starbucks because it is all inclusive and filled with diverse people who really do care and pay attention to their customers. I always see regulars coming in with big smiles and the social interactions are always positive. I know this isn’t relative for every location , and there are Starbucks on every corner in the city, but this is certainly one that takes the cake for me and will always appreciate the team who works there.“

“I popped into the Cupertino location as I was visiting my son in the valley for a week. I’m an author and suggested to Billy the manager that I have a book signing and he was enthusiastic. I did have the book signing. It went very well. I sold some books people had fun and I had met so many nice people. I will definitely be back there when I’m in the valley.“

“Lovely coffee shop if it is in your neighborhood. I find myself craving their Turkey sandwich because it has such a good homestyle flavor. I am a fan of their Vietnamese coffee. I would give it a shot if you go for your groceries at Lucky or need to make a return to UPS“

“Came for the water, stayed for the people. Leilani, John, and Carmen are so great to talk to and the Aloha they bring.
You can buy the water by the gallon, bring your own bottle. Or, sign up for a 100 or 200 gallon account. They know their regulars by name as you walk in.
They also offer a variety of drinks and cold items. The shave ice is classic and you can add the Hawaiian style with red beans and condensed milk if you'd like. But, I am very partial to their Halo-Halo, a Filipino dessert/merienda. It has all the jellies, beans, Ube halaya, and ice cream you'd want.“

“I love this small family owned Vietnamese restaurant that is run by a couple. It's my weekly run for pho during the work day. They also have other food and drink options on the menu which I tried and everything is delicious. They are quick, personable, friendly, and the food and drinks are great value. Lots of parking. I also love their fruit tea drinks.“

“I was very charmed by this local donut spot. It is an older establishment (so a little run down which honestly just added to the whole experience for me) but very affordable and clean. Good donuts (very generous raspberry filling), tasty breakfast sandwich, hot diner coffee, the sweetest lady behind the counter, and regulars who were happy to see each other.“

“GREAT garoto coffee...the espresso with foamy milk.. so smooth, not bitter nor too strong. The portuguese cheese and prosciutto sandwich was good but next time will not get it toasted as the cold cheese itself is wonderful! the Pasteis di nata are the best littleegg tarts as I found them to be a bit dry, but then again get another coffee! Owner was so friendly and the place adequate for being an older establishmen.“

“Teresa and her team are always exceptional at this location - Happy Donuts on Winchester Blvd. I come in for the seasonal favorites but have never been disappointed as you see a lot of local, familiar faces as this is also a great place to stop by or meet up with someone that you know. I love their French Twists or Crullers here that's usually my go-to, when they had the pumpkin donuts they were running out all the time. The best touch with the breakfast sandwiches, yes they have more than donuts, you can often get a bagel or breakfast sandwhich with your choice of bread or croissant if the have it, is the little mini chili. I was reluctant to try it but it was just the right level of spice and so unique. If you're looking for beyond donuts, sometimes you can also ask for smoothies they do advertise them as well especially if you want protein and smoothie for the health focused or gym folks coming from nearby the shopping center. I mean donuts are supposedly healthier than bagels and I read on a social media post donuts have saved many, many relationships including marriages, boyfriend and girlfriends, families, business partnerships etc. as you can never go wrong with apology donuts or donuts to make things better between groups of people.“
