“I know this restaurant has been around for 20 years but it was my 1st time here. The food tastes authentic, service is great. Some people say the servings are small but they are actually just right. I had their lomi (for take out) and had their halo-halo, inihaw na bangus for a late lunch. Was worth the trip. Will definitely be back.“

“It’s a hole in a wall. I ordered the adobo pusit, bansilog, sinigang broth and tocilog on two different occasions. None took away my breath. They were mediocre. The same as the surrounding Filipino restaurants. However, the owners’ friendliness and genuineness were apparent. Both sisters on two separate occasions, stopped at my table and engaged in a warm conversation, making me feel like a beloved family. I felt like I was being served at Nobu. I asked if they had coffee and she said she can make me one, which was not part of the menu, plus it was’t included on the final check. The black pipping hot coffee was in a paper dixie cup, but tasted better than coffee in Brazil. This personalized and attentive service ensured a positive experience, despite the food.

Overall, this hole in the wall offers a welcoming atmosphere and friendly owners. The food might not be the primary draw, but it’s a great choice if seeking a comfortable spot with excellent customer interactaction.“

“What a delightful place to stop and grab a delicious empanada or a boba drink. I just love the chicken adobo empanadas. The pastry is fresh, flaky, and crispy. The lightly spicy chicken and potato filling is tender and savory. So good. Be sure and try the house-made sweet chili sauce as well. For dessert, try the mango cheese cake empanada. It is tangy, fruity, rich with cream cheese and topped with a sugar-glazed crust. The prices are very affordable too!“

“Still the best Filipino food in the bay area. I still love the grill pork tocino and the pinakbet can go wrong with the Java rice. There a lot more to choose from the menu like the combo meals. The place is small you might have to wait to be seated but worth the wait . It's definitely a must try.“

Generous amount of serving, i love the Beef Kare Kare( its a whole bow and very tender beef) i love the Bangus silog - crispy Bangus and taste really good- and i tried also the Crispy Pork Belly with rice( Lechon Kawali Silog) was really good too. “Great atmosphere, lovely variety of people. Filipinos behind the cash registers are very helpful, informative and positive energy. I highly recommend coming just for the food court. I wasn't even aware it was a grocery store till my bf mentioned it. Lol. All the hot food and restaurants threw me off. We came from Modesto and there's no places like this there for good Filipino food. So we are very pleased to be here and get to eat all types of Filipino food. We hit up the Jollibees in here and it was great.“
