“They just hosted our annual Post-Thanksgiving Dinner. We were a party of 30. So much amazing food, and the service was wonderful. There are some special dishes we ordered that needed to be pre-ordered. “House Special Crab and Curry Crab” did not disappoint. We will definitely be back to try more dishes when we are in town.“

“Every time I have a business meeting or want to get together casually with friends, I suggest Mai Thai. It's consistently good food, nice portions, nice staff, and nice ambiance. It's on the other side of town for me, but always worth the trek. It's also in a nice location if you want to stop by the bakery nearby or the grocery store, too. My go-to dish is the eggplant with basil. It's cooked to perfection every time, and it's always plenty of food.“

“Today, I discovered a Taishan-style restaurant. I haven’t seen it for a long time. It’s the taste of my childhood. You can add your favorite salty soup balls and ingredients according to your own taste. Their steamed rice is also pretty good, nutritious and delicious. Nothing I ordered was too bad, the dishes were rich and colorful, and the service was very good. I will try their rice bowls and skewers next time. The ones ordered by the next table looked very good, and they also have several nourishing soups. I recommend everyone to try it!“

“I came here with a group of 9 people on a saturday evening and we were seated immediately. We started with some happy hour cocktails and some apps and soup - the mushroom app was incredible, the tom yum soup was good. The entres were also good - I think if I came back I'd rather grab lunch instead of dinner if that makes any sense.“

The Massaman is crave worthy as I have now had this several times and each time, it doesn't disappoint and you can ask for whatever spice level you can manage. “Sometimes you’re in the mood for Crab Rangoon AND Tom Kha Soup. Both of these dishes exceed expectations at Bangkok Garden. I’ve only ever done take out and have had quite a few of their dishes - all of which have been solid. But their unique and kind of tangy sweet Crab Rangoon and their Tom Kha Soup really are special. I also appreciate how their spice level is consistent and real (like a 2 has some heat to it!). Definitely recommend.“

“Cool place (love the decor/style), nice staff & tasty food. Some dishes you will not find in the average Thai restaurant in the Bay Area. For example, the chef or owner is from northern Thailand so the menu features a top Northern Thai dish - Kao Soi noodle soup (beef or chicken), or the all time fav 'street food' grilled pork skewers (moo ping) served with sticky rice (ck out the menu on their website). I had the Pad Kemao Chicken (menu says beef but they are happy to make dishes with what you like & even have Beyond Meat dishes on the menu - cool to see stir fried basil with Beyond Meat (Krapao Beyond Neur)). The taste of my wok fried pad kemao was delicious, same or better than any I've had on prior trips to Bangkok. Glad to have discovered a solid Thai restaurant that doesn't have watered down flavors. Good to see they have a lot of gluten free and vegan choices on the menu too. Definitely will be back, keep up the good work!“

“This restaurant is a hidden gem, run by a very kind, cheerful man who’s a fantastic host. The food is delicious and generous, and the menu is flexible—especially for vegetarians, with no extra charges. Plus, it has its own parking! It’s my third time here, and I’m absolutely delighted!“

“I've been here about five times now, and all the food has been great in terms of both quality and size, whether dining in or taking out. Very small for dining in tho, probably seating no more than 10 max, and the prices on the bottled Thai tea & coffee are not competitive with nearby boba shops (with admittedly worse service and worse food or no food at all).“

“We got take out . All the stuff we ordered came correct . I thoroughly enjoyed this crab fried rice. The sauce it came with was a flavor bomb! My cousin is allergic to shellfish but it was so good he ate some anyways . I guess it was worth the runs. Their samosa , pad Thai and soups were great !“

“Had to take my daughter to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and we were looking for a good place to have lunch before her appointment. My daughter spotted this restaurant and we are absolutely in love. Clean, comfortable eating area inside and outside. Variety on the menu and best Thai food we’ve eaten in a long time. “I had a great experience at this Thai restaurant. It has a nice cozy mom n’ pop atmosphere to it. Service was good, I ordered a cup of tom yum soup with a side of jasmine rice and it was very yummy. My friend who I went with is from Castro Valley and they always order the Pad Kee Mao. Super solid option if you’re craving noodles and a bit of spice! This is just my preference but I really liked how they used glass cups for water rather than plastic like how most restaurants use. The only thing that I wish they included on their menu is a papaya salad. I love papaya salad so I was a bit disappointed when I couldn’t find it on the menu. Overall, this was a solid Thai restaurant so I would recommend trying it and supporting their small business!“

“Went there for dinner on NBA All Star Game Night. We discovered this place while hunting for a place to eat in the neighborhood. We ordered Pad Woon Sen, Yellow Curry, Mango Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice. Each dish was flavorful, and the Curries go superbly with white rice! Wait staff was very attentive, the decor was tasteful and uncluttered, making the experience very enjoyable. We will be back to try the other offerings!“

“We went here and had the most amazing tom kha soup. Like in my lifetime I've eaten a lot of Thai Tom kha soups, but this one tops all of them. We are planning to come back a million more times for their soup. It had the sweet, it had the sour, it was the perfect ratio for everything. I'm still reminiscing about it.

We also had other dishes and they were great, packed with a lot of flavors except the cucumber salad which was bland and not so exciting.

“This is a nice Thai BBQ place. We got Phad See-Ew with chicken, Chef's Special Seafood Combo Plate which came with Shrimps, scallops, mussels, squid. Fried shrimp & fried calamari, with a chicken fried rice. Everything was good except I felt the fried calamari and fried shrimp had to much breading on them we ended taking some of the breading off. Overall everything had good flavor, also the prices listed online are not the correct prices in store.“
