“Yeah, pretty good stuff here. Very modest 'deli-like' setting but hugely popular. We were there for a rather busy Tuesday lunch crowd. We got there just at the beginning of the rush, yet I watched plates come flying out of the back soon after arriving. We were told "give me 10 minutes" and our 'best ever tasted' hummus came out only 1 minute late, then the very good Kabob entrees came just 3 minutes after that. The chicken breast Kabob was seasoned and cooked perfectly moist, something not commonly found at many/most kabob houses. The good lamb kabob chunks worked well with the grilled red onions and bell peppers however neither of the plates came with the aforementioned hummus and pita. All drinks are bottled/canned from the fridge, unless you want tap from the back. "I'll have the bottle", I said to one of the two or three working the place as they all seemed to show out front at different times. Service was friendly and hospitable after ordering at the counter and finding any available seat. And, they knew where every plate went without numbers on the tables or names being called. Outside tables looked to be popular and a nice area, however we didn't venture out in this day after the recent rain here in North County. Plates and servings were adequate and the plate's rice and 'built on the plate' salad were plentiful, and the bright and flavorful dill dressing filled up the voids. Also, along with the plates, they served an outstanding yogurt and vegetable dressing for dipping. Where have these guys been hiding? Great spot here in the North County. I just wish I had tried the day's special stew. We will be back to try other menu options. Dicks“
“Casual spot with plenty of space for large groups. Really tasty food! The portions were huge (at least for 2 ladies). We got the 2-3 peraon dinner so we could try a swveral of the meets. They were delicious. Their bread is dangerous because it comes out early-hot and freshly baked. You can get full on just hummus and bread...“
“Never tried this place before but as soon as I walked in the workers gave samples and even gave recommendations. Wasn't sure what many of the toppings were but the worker helped giving us a combination of what works best which turned out to look and taste amazing. The portions were no joke. Shout out to the worker Alex he was super friendly and says "He just wants to make customers happy". Great food great service.“
“The day after Thanksgiving, we drove almost 2 hours to San Diego to have breakfast and dessert. We were in the mood for Mediterranean food. By far the BEST we have ever had!! The customer service was 10/10. The 2 gentlemen who helped us were friendly and explained their dishes very well. We loved the food so much, we ordered a plate to go. We loved the hummus, rice, and cilantro sauce. The restaurant was very clean. We will definitely stop by again when we're in town. Thank you guys for the amazing food and customer service.“
“We usually order food to go. Today we dined in and our waitress, Eileen was wonderful. She was patient, helpful and friendly. We haven’t had such great service from a server for a long time. “Love this establishment. I'm literally making it a goal to hit one of these wherever I go. I've almost hit every one of them in SD. 1 in El Segundo.I crave these wraps. The salad and toppings are always fresh. And the wraps... well, they are huge . Perfect for my appetite. One of these bad boys with double the protein and any man will be satisfied. Every establishment I've entered has always been very clean and has plenty of seating.I just found out there is a rewards program. It's a little disappointing that the cashier doesn't mention this to every customer.. if I had only known earlier, I'd have like 10 wraps under my belt. “The price is right for what you get. The food tastes good, and i keep going back. The owner is friendly and makes sure you are happy. Many of the customers are regulars, so they talk with the owner. Tiny place, but they don't rush you out they want youvtovrelax and enjoy yourself, and the homemade meals.“
