“Need a perfect spot to chill x coffee? Cielo is the place. It's a new and spacious coffee shop in the heart of San Marino. Its Latin inspired menu and perfectly brewed coffee drinks makes it a good addition to the neighborhood. Similarly, they offer wine and beer for customers. And a free wifi.

The UNIT B's former two vendors were also coffee business shops - sadly they didn't last that long. Hopefully with Cielo would last longer. I came early Sunday morning to try their breakfast: chicken pesto sandwich and cafe de olla. Food was good and coffee was perfectly brewed. Prices seem fair. Staff was professional. Service was on point. Street parking and a rear parking lot are available.

“This Guisados on Sunset is the perfect spot to hit a hungry stomach! Free parking. EZ to find. Safe neighborhood. Now for the food… AMAZING! All tacos are delicious. Try the sampler. Gives you 6 mini tacos with home made tortillas. For about $11. ? even my kids who are picky loved this place! Service was awesome. We were still craving another sampler (we all shared some) and the server who brought our food said that there was no need to wait in line again… she took our additional order from our table, and brought the credit card reader out to us!!! “This amazing taco stand is set up in a parking lot with plenty of parking, making it super convenient. There are four organized stations: one for tacos, one for other items, plus a drink station and a salsa bar.

The meat was incredibly flavorful, and they serve it with onions, a grilled pepper, and a small potato. After trying several taco storefronts in the area, this stand easily tops the list.

I had ordered four tacos: Masala Birria, Tinga Masala Chicken (by recommendation), Pibil Chicken, and the potato (Mexican potato substitution), along with a side of Mom's Beans and seasoned Cauliflower. I was nodding my head blissfully as I ate everything. The smell of spices and fresh cilantro, the taste of meaty beans and succulent poultry, and pickled onions were wildly satisfying. “Came here this morning, their cafe de Hoya is so delicious straight out of the pot. We had chilaquiles, enchiladas, birria de res and costillas de puerco. All of the food was so delicious, and completely worth the drive. Our server Ernes was so sweet, welcoming and attentive. But god I can’t not stress how good their coffee was 😩“

“For a first timer this was Awesome food & great service. Ive been to alot of places that want to claim the best chilaquiles but are nothing more that just been overrated/overpriced even for the hot sauce, like the spots like Taquearte California in Pico rivera or Pops cafe in Downey that charge you an arm or a leg for small portion and don’t live up to the hype. I think this spot and many like it popping up on street corners are setting the standard for true homemade cooked Mexican food as we call comida cacique y del rancho etc. They don’t cut corners and make everything fresh when you are ready to order. Reminded me of my grandmothers cooking and the food back in Mexico. I will definitely be back. My new spot to come instead of making the long trip all the way to Hawthorne to Mr Chilaquiles for over priced food where they are stingy with the portions and toppings. I definitely recommend Las Carnitas Chigonas. I got the 3 chilaquiles platter all with carnitas and one with cecina. All was very flavorful!!! For now no one compares to this spot. Good portions enough for 2 people and great prices!!! As a fellow Mexican from the state of Michoacán I approve the carnitas!!!“

“I am so happy to discover this little hole in the wall place. I ordered the Chile con puerco. I tasted the epazote and all the 3 types of green Chiles they placed in this delicious green sauce. The texture, color and taste is to perfection. The pork was cooked well where it melts in your mouth. Savory to the last morsel.
