“My group of 7 got to have a late lunch/early dinner from 3:30-5 since they don’t close after lunch - yay! We had two hot pots at this Taiwanese hot pot place. Great to have one Taiwanese in our group and also my Singaporean husband who had way more hot pot places to compare it to like DinTai Fung. They were impressed and said it more affordable than that famous chain from Taiwan. Most enjoyed/loved the spicy bone marrow broth but we also had the regular bone marrow broth and tomato and enjoyed them all - an overall good quality experience in the unlimited items in all you you can eat at the snack and sauce bar, service (with a fun waiter and robot) and atmosphere.“

“So good - balanced and aesthetically pleasing, but it’s still craveable Chinese fast food. The self-service sweets bar was a wonderful addition. Would take off points for the slightly steep price but it’s the Bay Area and I’ve paid more for worse, sadly.“

“The American wagyu cut of meat was great and the fact that it's included in the ayce was a great deal. $48 pretip for 1 person, I paid 60 because the guy waiting the bar and on the deli slicer was so nice. Goma and ponzu dipping sauces were great too.“

“The best Shabu in San Jose and located in the perfect part of San Jose in Japantown, we love coming here to eat Shabu, it is so delicious. I highly recommend it *****five stars the owner Richard treat’s us great with so much hospitality, we just feel so welcomed and will continue to frequent his establishment.“

“All the food is fresh, and choosing what's in season makes it even tastier. For larger groups, the big round tables come with the added bonus of individual hot pots built right into the table. It's easier to order dishes when you have a bigger group here ( 3+ people)“

“Came here on Saturday for late lunch and there was no wait. The hot pot dishes were delicious and the owner was very friendly. AYCE is a plus, which is $36.99 for weekends and holidays, $32.99 for weekdays dinners and even cheaper for weekday lunches.
We liked the original spicy soup base and the skewers.“
