“I've been here for a long time and for whatever reason my original review is not here. Nonetheless this place is amazing. A diamond hidden in the rough, an oasis for those who need a boba fix. It's a local store filled with anime goodies and is a TCG haven for Magic, Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh, and of course POKEMON! This is the place to be. There are different nights for specific TCG's and they have pokemon trade nights. I recommend joining the discord. Come by and enjoy a drink made by Em, or the guys talking about all the TCG's. The owners a nice guy to boot!“

“I never review anything , I have come to this place multiple times a week for weeks now .. I love their wings and seasoned fries . As a wing lover they are a step above wingstop Buffalo Wild Wings or any wing I have had. “This is my go-to place for boba. I enjoy their variety. I normally have the taro with Almond milk, strawberry popping Boba and lychee jelly. It brings back childhood memories of strawberry milk. I also like the pineapple tea and the lemon one. However, I'm caffeine sensitive so I try to avoid them late in the day so that I can sleep. The inside is clean. I have never ordered food from here so I can't speak to that. I like that they have a stand where you can put in your own order and add your own extras.“

Katsu is very crisp, use thigh meat, sauce is good, habanero sauce is killer, some pieces of katsu mostly breading with how thin the meat got but a large portion and so I do not feel skimped on meat overall. Steamed cabbage and broccoli provided give a nice break to the grease. Mac is on par with l&l. Would eat here again“

“What a delightful place to stop and grab a delicious empanada or a boba drink. I just love the chicken adobo empanadas. The pastry is fresh, flaky, and crispy. The lightly spicy chicken and potato filling is tender and savory. So good. Be sure and try the house-made sweet chili sauce as well. For dessert, try the mango cheese cake empanada. It is tangy, fruity, rich with cream cheese and topped with a sugar-glazed crust. The prices are very affordable too!“

“I’ve started getting tea from this place every single day. Their tea is so good by itself that my favorite drink from them is the plain green tea with honey—no need for sugar or other flavors to make the drink worth $7. Moreover the inside is always clean and well-maintained, and the workers are amazing! I’m a regular since a few months ago and the employees have always been kind and patient, even when I accidentally forget to pack up before closing time. Also, they have free samples AND free iced, filtered water, which automatically makes them the best boba place on the block lol.“

“I enjoyed visiting Cha Thai tea! The employees are always very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations. I really enjoyed this drink (I think it was a coconut avocado special? I forgot to look at the exact name of the drink) and pandan custard toast. I also enjoyed the mango coco the previous time I came here. They have a smaller, simpler menu that's not too overwhelming but the ingredients seem very fresh and tasty! I'll definitely be back!“

“I randomly walked in an hour before closing looking for something to warm me up. I had a surprisingly delicious mocha. One of the better mochas I’ve tried I’ve had around the bay. My recommendation is get the mocha with no whip and 30% sugar with the salt creamer, genuinely amazing. Staff was really down to earth aswell.“

“When searching for a quick, easy, and filling lunch during my break, I ended up here at this cute little Viet Bagel & Banh Mi shop called Tay Tah Cafe!

When you first enter, you’re guided by arrows that lead you to the ordering tablet, or you can order at the main counter. The shop is small, but has plenty of counter seating and some small tables available as well! In between the front door and ordering, there’s a selection of chips and snacks for you to browse as well.

I was initially looking to order Banh Mi but was a bit intimidated by the $17/banh mi price tag. I opted in for an open face Asiago Bagel with Lox for $13 and placed my order. Breakfast orders that are $10+ get a free house coffee as well, so of course I opted in for it!

There’s a bathroom just around the corner from the ordering kiosk, but while I was making my way over there, the kind staff let me know that they are actually sold out of lox. They offered me a refund or to change what I ordered. I decided to switch to the Asiago Bagel with Ham, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese since it was the same price as the Lox!

My coffee came out first, and the person who gave me my coffee also filled up my cup with ice when I asked! The coffee itself had a nice deep & bitter flavor which I look for in a house coffee.

The sandwich was STUFFED full. I’ve never had a bagel breakfast sandwhich where I’ve quite had to unhinge my jaw like this. My photos did not do the sandwich justice, but I promise it’s so much bigger than you’d expect!

The eggs were perfectly fluffy and smothered in cheese. The ham and bacon were cooked to my personal liking. If you like crispy bacon, maybe mention that to them, because it was perfectly chewy for me. The bagel, was soft, fluffy, yet so bouncy, and I LOVE that there are poppy seeds mixed into their Asiago bagel.

The cost to quantity ratio for the breakfast sandwich was 100% worth it. I’ll definitely be back when I need a hearty sandwich.“

“They have a lot of choices and you can mix and match as you please. You walk in and order on the order pad. You put together your drink piece by piece - providing a lot of possible combinations. You then pay and wait for your drink to be made - which happens rather quickly. The end result is pretty good! Note: There is plenty of seating inside.“

The noodles, while not the best pho in the bay area, they are decent. Both noodles they served came with delicious broth. Unlike many pho places, these didn't leave you with a dry mouth. Wish their beef can be softer and more tendered - that's the only (but critical) place to lose shine. You know - always room for improvement. Can't wait to come back and try their banh mi.“

“Every time I come home from college, this is the first spot I need to visit. The atmosphere in-store is spectacular, and the folks at the counter have always been lovely to me.

Vibes aside, the food is also Really good. Even though I tend to go later in the day, the donuts are always perfectly chewy (as all good mochi donuts are), and they've always got a great variety of flavors available.

The drinks are also super fun. The ube milk tea is always a banger choice, but I was pleasantly surprised by their horchata this time around! Big recommend.

Tl;dr: W place, W service, W food. I would trade all of my worldly possessions for one of their elote or potato half and half dogs.“

This time I tried their Coconut Matcha Bbo, which has cloud, macha, coconut milk and boba. It tasted great, the flavor was on point. I ordered on their app, which makes it easy to customize your drink. Highly recommended!“

Order online via the web site (they take apple, google pay, and Cash App.) usually done much faster than they say it will take. The cups do seem quite recyclable, just wish the straws were too! If they had 100% bio-degradable/compostable/recyclable set up would be 5 Stars.P.S. If you are used to other bubble T's I would start with 75%-100% sweet and work your way down to 50%. I find 50% to be perfect but I don't eat/drink much sugar.“

“Nice tea house at Berkeley. They have another location at SF. We stopped by after lunch. Looks like it is a good place to study or work as I see many customers working on the laptop.
I heard this tea house is pretty famous. it has nice interior and high ceiling. They also have one popup store inside when we visit.
There are plenty of teas and match varieties. They also sell the match powder, tea leaf and Hojicha powder . They also have imperial Matcha powder. We ordered just cold matcha and it was good. it was not that strong. We will stop by next time to try other tea.“

“I LOVE happy lemon. This is one of my favorite boba places for a fruity drink. The blended lemon drinks, which are unique to happy lemon, are my favorite. I like sweet drinks, and I'd say 100% sweetness is pretty sweet. Occasionally I'll get a milk tea, though they aren't my favorite place for such drinks. I did learn recently that a lot of drinks have sweetened condensed milk, even if you sub soy milk for the regular milk. So for anyone lactose intolerant, be sure to confirm while ordering. For this reason, I'd recommend another shop for more milk tea options.“

“Closest spot from DeAnza HS for coffee. I ordered Vietnamese coffee - they should update the picture on the menu because it shows a 12oz cup. The size that came out is almost half the size but is normal when there’s less ice - people might not know this and complain. For me, I like it this way as you can taste the full flavor. Very clean space but a bit run down. I wish the employee was playing music, it was so quiet… maybe because it was the weekend and school isn’t in session/less student customers. Putting one star down because the last time I went, I got a passion fruit boba and it just tasted like sugar in water with no fruit-flavor.
