Product: The burrito was the largest I've ever seen, served incredibly quickly. It was fiery hot, almost too much so.Personally, I found the meat a bit dry. It's the cheapest burrito I've had in the city. They offer very spicy sauces. 5 out of 10
Service: The interaction was decent. 4 out of 10
Ambiance: Vibrant colors. Customers carve messages directly into the tables. When I arrived, it was quiet, but soon a large crowd formed and the line extended right to my table. 4 out of 10“

“I frequent this taqueria at least every other week; if I could, I would daily. The food is always incredible, you can't go wrong with the taco de adobada or torta adobada. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. One time they noticed I got shorted a taco before I did and gave me an additional taco. I didn't even ask for that, they were just nice. The music is always a vibe when you choose to dine in. Definitely a 10/10 experience every time.“

“Was recommended this place by my mom, and did not disappoint! everything was amazing! we tried the tacos de pastor, asada, chorizo, and volcan de carnaza (recommended to us by our server giovanni, who was amazing!) and the horchata de fresa also amazing. We were a party of 7 and they happily accommodated us without a wait. I can’t wait to go back for another visit. Their red salsa does need improvement but the tacos were great.“

Got the Pastor and asado and they asked if I wanted beans with it which was not something I typically get offered, but I did try it and it was a tasty addition. “We stopped here on a whim and boy were we pleasantly surprised. This Western themed restaurant had the best Agua Chiles and Burria fries we have had anywhere in San Diego.
The wait staff was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at all times.
After our meal was done, they brought us homemade deserts on the house.

“Delicious Mexican food. It’s off the beaten path as they say but don’t be intimidated. Carnitas and beans were some of the best around. If you happen to be visiting Coronado this place is 10 minutes from the Island and 10x better than the Island Mexican food.“

“This gem of a truck has the best surf and turf burritos in San Diego. The meat is juicy and tender + the combo of shrimp and chipotle sauce is amazing. I squeeze lime into every bite with their salsa habanera (it is HOT but delicious!). “Great little spot. I have been by several times, but this was the first time eating there. The tacos were so delicious. I had the crispy shrimp, and a Hawaiian chorizo. The shrimp was served with bacon and cheese and was so good. The chorizo taco had pineapple, which was awesome. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.“

“The Restaurant was called El Rinconcito, under new owner. We stopped here after a visit to Sesame Street Place, hoping to have some authentic Mexican food. We were not disappointed! “I stopped for lunch on a business trip. The service and food were great. I had the chicken fajitas for lunch. They provide chips and salsa with before and during the meal.
The only difficulty on stopping here was the parking. It is very limited and street parking is the only accessible option. I had to walk about 4 blocks but will not detour me from visiting again the next time I am in the area. Also I would assume will depend on the time of day that you visit.

“I read the reviews for this place and I was curious to try it, being Mexican, I’ve never been too impressed by tacos in San Diego, there are good tacos but there’s always something better down south.

I am not someone that picks a place for the atmosphere, I go places for their food, if the atmosphere is good I might stay longer but if the food’s good I’ll come back.

Which is the case with this place, the food is so good that I would travel back from mexico just to eat their ribeye tacos.

I’ve read about people complaining about the atmosphere here, there are too used to fast food joints, this is how a real taqueria feels like, it’s rustic, not sterile, there’s ash from the charcoal flying and landing in the furniture out back, loud music, informal service. If you can’t deal with that, go get yourself some fast food instead, this might not be for everyone. But the food…

The food is worth it, not sterile uberclean plastic setting we tend to find this side of the wall, this feels authentic, and tastes like the best in Mexico. The quality of the raw materials ids the best I have seen, even in México. Could the setting be better? Who cares, the tacos are fantastic that’s all that counts.

“I been following Chris and his dad before they got this taco truck for a few years now, glad to see them still going strong. They have some bomb tijuana style tacos. I like to get the asada and adobada tacos. My friend is obsessed with their asada papa loca (baked potato). I haven't tried it but I will order that next time. Don't forget the habanero onions and the chiles/cebollas toreados, So good! P.s. Check their Instagram to see when they are open because sometimes they do special events and I've shown up and they are not here because I forgot to check if they were there.“

“Honestly could be considered a bit pricy until you finish your first drink. The bar tenders make some of the best drinks I've ever had and at first they seem to just be heavy on the fruit but about halfway thru you realize they balance the alcohol perfectly so you cant tell that they definitely make them very sturdy for a day at the beach. As for the tacos, I usually end up having several by the end of the day they are just so balanced and flavorful. Good portion size too (I usually get several fish tacos and one or two shrimp thru the day). I will always recommend the classic margarita with a tajin rim or the watermelon drinks they make. The fruit garnish is to die for and very refreshing complement to the drink itself. I am very passionate about this place.“
