“Absolutely great location, great service from the server who guided me through the menu for the first time she was great! I ate there and ordered out for the fam, we love the onion rings lolParking: Parking is great I really like the open spacious parking, it'll get packed at some point but it isbare able.“
“Great place. Wide variety of Craft Beer from local highly rated breweries such as Green Cheek (one of my favorites). Service from all staff on point, always willing to assist with beer related questions, if not too familiar with the craft life, Stephen is always helpful and pleasant. If you prefer something off beer, the sake margarita is a must.“
“I made a Resy reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Street parking was accessible and convenient a few steps away from the location. Once we walked in, I was greeted by first name by the host behind the bar who directed us to follow Lisa, our server, to our table for two in the garden patio. Once seated, she asked if we'd like to turn on the heated lamp, which we appreciated. We ordered the Hunan BBQ Pork Ribs (so meaty and smoky), Chilled Sesame Peanut Noodles (which my wife commented would be an ideal dish during a warm summer night), Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi (served on a toasted, pillowy brioche bun), paired with a side of the Shoestring Fries. Lastly we enjoyed an unexpected gift from the kitchen - Shanghai Triple Onion Noodles, which was a warm dish in contrast to the other cold noodles. As a thoughtful gesture, the bartender, offered us two glasses of champagne to acknowledge our occasion. To cap off our unforgettable meal, we ordered the Hochija Tres Leches and Honeymoon Bread Pudding. The perfect conclusion to a delicious and well-thought out dinner. For a location with a history dating back to the prohibition era (informed by Lisa), I'm glad to see it's continuing it's life as a bar with an innovative kitchen. As I mentioned last night, the dinner was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable :)“
“AMAZING FOOD! Love that it is non alcoholic as it definitely invites a positive crowd. Very lowkey neighborhood as well. Service was quick and snappy. My friend did not like her original order but they exchanged it for something else on the menu with no issues. Will be returning often as a resident of signal hill“
“I'm a frequent visitor to this restaurant because I appreciate the quality of the food and the excellent value for the price. From the flavorful Angry Chicken to the delectable Kimchi Fried Rice, every dish I've tried has been delicious, with generous portion sizes.“
“This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. Tucked inside a hotel you wouldn't know about this place but I am glad my friend found it. We now made it a yearly thing to come back here and have dinner here now“
“Visited Blvd Cocktails for the first time last night. My wife and I had a great time. The music was just right. The atmosphere was friendly and chill. They have weekly raffles. We bought $10 worth of tickets and won $50 at their 11:30 raffle drawing. Our bartender Alisa was awesome. She was welcoming, friendly, and made some great suggestions for our drinks. Alisa's friendly service is definitely a reason we will return for more drinks and to sample the menu.“
“This bar has all the right games at any given time. Great place! Football playoffs were showing on every TV outside of the bar. Another the end. One maybe two screens were dialed to NASCAR. For the most part, Our server was attentive and she would ask us how are doing. Her instinct The menu was substantial. I choose the dip if I remember correctly. Awesome sandwich. The nacho were LOADED with various meats and copious amounts of cheese. Worth checking out if are visiting Whittier.“
“Litos Cork Room (LCR) is a hidden gem in East Los Angeles, especially for Green Bay Packers fans. The welcoming vibe and unique Packers fandom create an unforgettable experience for any football fan. Drinks are very reasonably priced and bar service is quick in this tiny little Cheesehead heaven. The owners (Junior and his wife) are amazingly welcoming and generous people. Litos feels like a mini-Lambeau in ELA.Highly recommend!?? ?? GoPackGo“
“They don't serve food here, but you are welcome to bring your own food Inside. You are also welcome to smoke your vapes inside. Bathrooms are kept very clean along with the whole bar and booth areas. Karaoke nights are always a good time with good vibes and friendly people.Parking: More than enough parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp about 20 ft. From entrance“
“We were up in the Long Beach area for the weekend and my husband wanted to watch UFC so he found this bar showing it at no charge! The place is big with lots of TVs, seating and games. It was a bit cluttered. Lots of stuff that were sitting in piles all over the place. It seems like it should be in a storage room but maybe they are short on storage. Other than that, it was fine. The staff was great. Like I said, it is a big place but we did not have a problem getting drinks or food. I ordered the pretzel bites and a Nathan's hot dog Chicago style. The dog was really yummy and filling. My husband ordered the quesadilla and he liked it. Said it was nice and spicy. If we are back in the area we will def return.“
“Love this low key, high end bar. Best of both worlds. Dark and warm atmosphere. Phenomenal happy hour and cocktails. We came for after dinner cocktails and ordered an espresso martini and a "Coffee and Cigarettes" and they were perfect! FYI It's not closed. Try the door!“
“Was not expecting this great food worthy of any restaurant. The ceviche was good. The stake was amazing. The tacos were amazing, chicharon was on point ,and taco shrimp was amazing , and I was not expecting this kind of quality from a bar. O and the music were on point. First time here, and I highly “
“This place gets me into trouble and I am fortunate. With its 24 diverse rotating beer on draft, you can explore them using flight option. Also, they have their wine it's in own chilled draft box. Want more? You can to peruse their wall and wrap-around refrigorator of a craft beers and estate wine, champagne, and even non alcoholic beverages. Great for solo drinking, date night , and meet up with friends. Cheers !“
“I LOVE this place! The food is always amazing whether dine in or take out, I'm salivating. The servers are so kind and do their job well. And the VIBES! that place is so cute they either have live music or some good jams playing in the resturant. I take everyone I know here. Can't wait for my next visit ?“
“If you're on the hunt for an exceptional spot to savor local beer, Distrito Catorce is your go-to destination. Picture 'Cheers' vibes fused with the cultural richness of Boyle Heights - like the old Al's Bar in the Art District- that's the unique ambiance you'll find here. Every visit has been a chance to meet amazing people, and the owners? Simply outstanding. They've created a space that's not just about drinks but about community and connection. What to order: My personal favorite? The watermelon salad. It's a refreshing twist I didn't know I needed, and though I've yet to try the Al Hotdog Pastor , (it sells out.) the buzz is it's phenomenal created by Chef Jonathan Perez. What's more, its proximity to the metro at Mariachi Plaza makes it an irresistible stop. Surrounded by vibrant arts, there's always something happening here. Be it catching a game or admiring local art, there's a blend of experiences waiting for you. While you won't find tacos here, a short walk to 'Street Tacos', just two doors down, will sort you out. But before you taco-hop, try their hamburger, waffle fries and the talked-about Al Pastor Hotdog . The beer selection? Extensive. Draft , bottles, cans - From local beers I've never heard of to a popular GUAVADA a guava cider spritzer, there's something for every palate. And if you're looking to extend your night, Casa Fina across the street offers lively mariachi performances over the weekends. It's a whole vibe! So, if you're in the area or planning a visit, Distrito Catorce is a must. There is a bike rack right in the front. Follow my route and experience the best of local flavors and culture. Trust me, it's a journey worth taking!“
“I was there right when it opened and had the best experience, everything was perfect and definitely will be going again. For the first time everything about a place complimented everything the staff were super helpful, the food was amazing, the drinks were nice and cheap, and the atmosphere was phenomenal.“
“Meet my friend for her birthday lunch and we had the place to ourselves....Our service for spectacular...Definitely get the "Diva" Martini...We will be meeting there again for sure...Can't say enough great things about this place....Parking: Great, lots of it & very close....“
“I didn't have any expectations going here, but they were all quickly exceeded! I loved how there were several different stands to get food from, including a dedicated bar area (I hate it when you have to order food at the bar). The food was all really fairly priced and so good! It paired well with the beer flight my partner and I got. There are many unique beers to have, and the bartender who served us was super cool and friendly.I definitely want to come back again! It was a vibe!“
“My wife and I came here on a Saturday night and there were maybe about 3 other tables occupied. There was live music which was great. We didn't see anyone working so we sat ourselves in a booth and patiently waited for someone to take our order. Ended up ordering the botana la palma and ceviche de pescado. About 5-10 minutes later we were informed there were no more fish for the ceviche, so we decided to go with shrimp instead. The service was a bit slow or non existent. Maybe because the restaurant was hosting a paint&sip on the other side and required the waitress' attention. Nonetheless the food was amazing! Seafood tasted fresh and full of flavor. Where it went a bit wrong was when we got our bill. I typically just double the tax for a 20% tip, but didn't realize until afterwards that 1. The tax was off and 2. We got the wrong bill. The botana la palma was $25 and ceviche i believe was around $19, but was charged $25 for sashimi de atun azul. The tax was only $2.49 so our tip was unfortunately lower than intended (sorry, I was tipsy). My fault for not checking, but I was in a rush. Overall, would definitely come back, but will double check my bill.“
“I forgot to take a picture but the food was delicious. I ordered the quesabirria tacos (comes with 3 & the meat juice) and a jamaica and they both were good. The agua frescas come in the big margarita schooner glasses. Not sure if they have free refills but I don't think so. I liked my tacos crunchy so I asked for them well. The chips were crunchy and not stale, the guac taste fresh. The waiter was attentive and checked on us a few times. Overall it was a good experience.Parking: It's in a shopping center and there is plenty of parking.“
“Really awesome friendly and down to earth neighborhood bar! Bartenders are very attentive and did not leave my glasses empty or asking if I needed something. The drinks are not expensive here the service is friendly so tip the staff well! They have bagged snacks no grill so if you're starving eat first before coming in.“
“I love coming to this bar. It's a cool dive bar, there is DJ some nights so it does get loud. It's fun on those days. Also when you come in early. It's very chill. I typically come after a long week and look forward to Mondays for the karaoke. All the bartenders are very nice & make great drinks. Not a single one messes up my mixed drink. It's perfect. Thank you to all those workers.“
“Great steak, awesome atmosphere that reminds me of the Titans of SoCal experience restaurants that have all but disappeared or otherwise succumb to yet another national cookie cutter boring national brand. I hope the restaurant is able to stay around for a long, long time“
“Came here for a friend's birthday. The outdoor had such a tropical vibe that is perfect for hangouts. I'm not big on cider so can't say I love the drinks here but it's a healthier option for alcoholic beverages. Between the gunpowder guava and cactus rose, I preferred the rose. Its really tart so took a couple sips to get used to.“
“Buddy's Bday, they brought out their very special bday celebration, beans with cheese and 2 chips inside, it was epic. We were drunk and had a great time, good food, good atmosphere, TV's, the server knew what time it wasn They serve Tall cans of beer, so lfg! Def be “
“This place is awesome! Affordable drinks, great vibes and on weekend nights this is the place to be! They don't serve food but we decided to bring our own take out and had no problems for that. Tip: Best place to watch Sunday Football!!“
“Popped in on a Friday night and was surprised by the quality of the drinks, food and sound system. They had a few groups performing who appeared to have a strong fan base. From other reviews, it seems like they have other types of entertainment so curious to come back. Bathrooms were clean and ample parking“
“The food and service was great. Our waiter recommended the sole in pepper sauce and it was amazing. We also had the crab fried rice, money bags, and wonton. We ate the entrées so fast that I forgot to take a pic! Lol. The entrées are shareable in size, so u get a good amount for what u pay for. Oh... and my drink (lychee Paloma) was BOMB! I will definitely be back!“
“Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite bars the service is phenomenal Chris big Mike Joanna best friend and the new girl Chantel aka Alex is amazing the bar is extremely clean staff is friendly and know what you like for me it’s like a 4.5 out of 5 but 100% will be a 5 if they had twisted tea thank you 626 bar for a good time all the time“
“I come here specifically because of Kelly, Tony, and Nikita- they are the sweetest and most attentive bartenders EVER!! They make sure the vibe is welcoming and keep everything safe and on point. You dont find that everywhere dive bars always have a certain flow that youre either in or out- they make sure you will always want to come back.“
“A great spot for a good drink and some good company. They play a variety of music from hip-hop to rap, and cumbias. The crowd was so lively and fun but also casual and friendly. Impromptu dances with strangers were unexpected but so much fun. I can't speak on the drinks because this was my last stop for the night and I was sobering up with water. The bartenders were really sweet despite being busy and everyone being pretty drunk. There were people dancing on the bar, at the tables and on a small makeshift dance floor. All in all a really fun atmosphere in the heart of Boyle Heights just a few minutes from DTLA.“
“BEST DEAL!!! They have 2lbs shrimps for only $20. This is the best price I’ve seen in SoCal so far. The combo plate is also a great deal. The sauce is very delicious. Spice level is customizable. I was really impressed with everything here! Servers are very nice and friendly. The combo plate takes quite long to finish. The side dishes are very good on their own. Like they can open another restaurant with just the side dishes!“
“the whiskey selection is outstanding!! but the service sucks! this is our second time and the first time we were at the bar since we were face to face with the bartender we got service but tonight the service was horrible.. its like the server forgot about us.. we had other servers kept coming over to take our drink orders because our MAIN server was never around and when she was we were like sorry but someone else already took care of it.. even the couple next to us walked out because no one came to ask them if they wanted drinks or even to check up on them and they were sitting there for about 20 mins and still no service.. again service was two thumbs down ?.. i guess next time ill do the bar because i at least there i know someone is always attentive..“
“Went here for a night out, and loved it! Service was very good, the foods were very good as well. These two would have to be my favorite and the only two pictures I got to take. But we also orders some wings as well as Alfredo pasta and sea food stew. The sea food stew was so yummy but def meant for a big group of at least 4 to 6 people. The Alfredo wasn't that great as it was way too salty. The wings was good too but not too different from other places. We also ordered 3 Fish bowls (strawberry, peach and pomegranate). They were all very yummy but just a heads up, they are big. Each fish bowl is good for four people. Overall, it's a good place to hangout with friends!“
“My friends recommended us to try this place and I must say it was a great recommendation. Great experience and very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and down to earth made you feel comfortable the manager Mr. B was very helpful, friendly and professional he recommended the popular drinks and food he also added some humor which made feel at home. We will most definitely make more frequent visits at the Bella Lounge.“
“I am so mad at myself that I am barely discovering this hidden gem after three years of living in Lakewood. Wow. The portions for their bento are so good for their price point. All the rolls are great price points for the quality they provide. They have amazing service and staff are so attentive. I am now a regular!!!!! Soo goood!!!!!!“
“Try the Poblano chicken tacos! Taco Tuesday deals. Delicious menu! Always great service and nice, clean atmosphere, they have a nice patio and it’s next door to the AMC theater, perfect for a dinner and movie night out. My family and I have loved every dish we’ve tried, they have a nice selection of beers and I think a full bar! The owner is there managing pretty often and seems like a very kind and knowledgeable guy. He’s done a great job with Cabo Taco. If he ever moves/ expands to a bigger location I would absolutely follow. Big fan of this restaurant!!!“
“I'm reviewing The Paramount as a nightclub, which is in the upstairs area. It had the vibe of a cozy loft with a bar off to one side, a really relaxing patio overlooking the street on the other, with a cool stage planted in the middle. The Paramount gives off cool downtown loft party vibes (yes, there are security guards and a metal detector by the front), but it still gives off the loft party vibe that made the experience more fun and casual than expected. The only negative is parking: there's no lot I saw nearby, so expect to cruise around for a little while before you find a decent spot.“
“I lived here in this city for 17 years and came across Verdugos. The whole experience was amazing from the time we came in to meeting Mr.. Verdugos himself came to our table and spoke with us making sure we were ok. The Steak is to die for tender juicy. The chicken salad was amazing. The bread and sauce they serve you was so tasty. The cheesecake OMG. I could go on how good everything was. I will be back. Highly recommended for any event you won't be disappointed. Everything is alcart... Its worth every penny.“
“OK this is literally the West Coast version of Cheers. I've never seen a place where everybody says. Hi and bye to each other. The bartenders are great. The serving staff is very reliable. And I love the dark and calming vibe. I had their VR burger, which complements all the drinks I had. They have a grill where you can cook your own steaks, I'm definitely coming back here for a few first dates.“
“This place is a serious good time. A word to the wise, the karaoke is deceiving, the pros make it look super easy but it's far from it. There's only instrumental to accompany you with minimal cues. I failed miserably at my rendition of Shoop from award winning artists Salt-N-Pepa. I would have been mortified if not for the stop light shot I had taken just before. Warning No.2, if you come here on your birthday you will have to take one of these stop light shots (3 of em) in a consecutive fashion whilst the whole bar sings happy birthday to you. All in all, a great night with a chill crowd. The Micheladas are delicious and made to your spice preference. The bartenders are all really nice and friendly. 10/10 will return and hopefully recoup my honor in the karaoke.“
“Julio’s Pizza is always a go-to restaurant whenever we crave some good thin crust Indian style pizza. The place has a sport bar vibes, also servers off the bar mocktails and draft beer. You will always see some or the other small group event at the restaurant. They have many off the menu items to try outHacks for ordering- switch normal pizza sauce with Indian masala sauce ?️ or habanero sauce ?️ ?️ choose based on your spicy level- do not add fried garlic or garlic as a topping but have it on side, top it off on pizza when at the table- Habanero sauce can also be ordered on side- Do not miss out on the cheese french loaf with jalapeño. Add the roasted garlic later on.- Reserve a table through google maps it will be easier to secure a table, the place could be busier on weekdays as well as weekendsDisclaimer: Jalapeños here are not pickled or sour (like dominos or Pizza Hut) they’re spicy.Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian options for starters and main course pizzas & Pastas.“
“Certain bartenders here are a lot better than others. One drink would be okay and other one would be amazing. The bar is clean and neat and has a gothic feel to it. The DJ was playing bangers until he let his homie jump in and could not blend songs seemed like he was playing YouTube. Overall great place would come back.“
“This pub is evolving into a fantastic location for wine sampling. You can easily drop by and sample any of their excellent offerings. The hostess is welcoming, the music is comfortable to listen to at the right volume, there is good bread, and of course, a fine wine to round off the experience. The tasting area is tastefully decorated. When I have time, I'll be dropping by more frequently.“
“I recently visited Xecora in Downey, enticed by its reputation as a local favorite. Having previously experienced their Downey location, I decided to stop by this one, hopeful for a similar culinary adventure.Upon entering, I found the atmosphere at Xecora to be pleasant, but not extraordinary. The ambiance could use a bit more character and warmth to elevate the dining experience. However, the overall vibe didn't detract significantly from the positives of the visit. The service, on the other hand, was a standout aspect. The staff was friendly but also efficient and attentive. Their willingness to accommodate and make recommendations enhanced the overall dining experience. The chip and salsa at Xecora maintain their reputation for excellence. The flavors are vibrant, and the freshness of the ingredients is evident. It's a delightful way to kick off the meal and sets the stage for what's to come. One of the highlights of Xecora is their special drink, which lived up to its reputation. The unique flavors and creative presentation added a refreshing touch to the dining experience. I highly recommend trying their special drink for a flavorful twist on traditional options.Xecora is renowned for its ceviche, and rightfully so. The freshness of the seafood combined with well-balanced seasoning makes it a must-try dish. Unfortunately, during my visit, the absence of oysters was a letdown. It's worth noting that availability may vary, so it could be worthwhile to inquire ahead if you have a specific dish in mind.Overall, Xecora has the potential to elevate its status with a few enhancements to the ambiance, but it certainly delivers on taste and service.“
“We had a blast at this place. It's not super fancy like other places and pretty basic but you get what you pay for. The price was right. The machine was a little difficult to figure out besucase it was not in English but after trying for a while we figured it out. The main downside is that they don't serve alcohol nor do they allow you to bring it in. If they did, the review would be much higher.“
“Cool bar with a pool table, jukebox, and lotto. Lots of t.v.'s to watch all your favorite games. Plus they got more weekly happy hours than any other bar I've visited. And boy the folks there are like family ! Did mention the karaoke that goes down on the weekends ? Love this Lil spot !“
“Cheapest drinks in town. Bartenders have been there for many years. They pour their drinks strong. Yeah it's a dive bar. But with pool tables, dart boards 3 big TVs and a jukebox. It has all the amenities of any other bar except the trendy yuppies and complainers, because they're too cool for a dive bar. It has good drinks. Good people. And good times. Take a trip to the gold brick and you'll be sad you hadn't tried this bar sooner. It has a very cheers kind of vibe.“
“This. Place. Is like going to a cheers bar on Tuesday and Thursday night. There's karaoke and Wednesday. It's. Comedy. Show night Friday and Saturday there. Live music with bands. You can watch TVs sport's Games in the. Bar and and the food from prime rib to chicken Caesar salad.Drinks. Are. Good. With Martin the lunch time bar tender to jose. The night shift. Bar tender.
