“This place is awesome. We placed a togo order and sat down - the owner/manager came out with a pitcher of water and cups. He went around asking customers any concerns. People eating breakfast - huge flurry pancakes and lunch
I wanted the chicken pot pie but sold out. Next time will try and come earlier.“

“Been coming here for years, one of my absolute favorite places to eat. Food is amazing, it is cooked properly and always tastes fresh, plus they give really good portions and the menu is reasonably priced. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. “Decided to try this place out . I had pre-ordered ahead of time for pick up. Ordering Platform was a breeze and easy to navigate. I got the island beef ribs and the beef bowl. I was suprised at how many ribs you get and the amount of meat on it for only 18 bucks! It was plastic wrapped down so the package wouldnt leak which was helpful cuz I hate when my food leaks. The flavor of the meat was salty and greasy and that is just how i like my meat to taste. I was impressed. I spent a total of $30 bucks for dinner for myself and my honey. Location was easy to get into and parking was a abundant .“

“If you’re looking for freshly cooked food, stop here. This place is a little shop hidden in a shopping center. It wasn’t crowded on a Saturday afternoon about noon when I entered. The gentleman immediately asked if I wanted to order while he put together another order. As I reviewed the menu, I ordered chicken bowl and some soup. The food took a little bit of time to get but I was okay knowing that my food was cooked to order. The gentleman did mention that I could call it in before picking up. The price was about $14 to $16 per item and we got it to go. The food was extremely hot so be careful handling. The only thing I would look to change would ask for the teriyaki sauce be separated as the rice soaked up the sauce leaving my chicken a bit dry…. but still tasty. They even give you little candies and I also received a punch card for future orders which was fun and will be returning.“

“Awesome first experience! The traffic on Eastern had me turn into this food court. I've been to the green olive but decided for the Benton box at Poki N Roll. The tempura was lightly breaded and crispy. The portion of chicken and rice was very generous and I liked that the chop the chicken. Paola was very warm and welcoming. Thank you so much to the BOH and FOH for the great food and service. I'll be back to try other menu items.“

It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.

“The plates are huge and a great deal! We tried the Kalbi & Hawaiian fried chicken with it’s accompanying mac salad rice and ramen cabbage slaw. “Ok, this spot definitly hits the mark for Chinese fast food. The chow mein is delicious and fried rice is fluffy. They have regular and spicy Orange Chicken options, which I really appreciate since I don't like it too spicy. The Orange Chicken was a bit chewy and I do prefer more crunch on the breading. Flavor was good though. I really enjoyed the Black Pepper Chicken here vs anywhere else I've been. That dish was seasoned perfectly and the chicken was juicy.

The only complaint I have was the staff member I interacted with was slightly rude and stingy with the teriyaki sauce til I asked again for more. I let her know it was my first time there and my bf had sent me since he liked their food. She did not automatically give chopsticks like most do, I had to ask her where they were and she acted like I should already know. Then I asked for teriyaki and she gave me one lil container, even though I'd ordered 2 meals.
I had to go back inside after I'd gone to my car. Asked her for another and she literally rolled her eyes at me, then gave me 2 more more forcefully than she needed to, like I had annoyed her.

I guess they can treat customers like they're an inconvenience because their food is so good. I was nothing but cordial with her btw. I will be back for the food regardless.“

The staff was incredibly patient and took the time to walk us through the menu, helping us navigate the variety of proteins and sides for our poke bowls. “Aloha is now my new Hawaiian bbq go-to in the LA area. This new Buena Park location is located in a strip mall with ample parking. Service is prompt and friendly. Incredibly generous portions for the price - what a great value meal.

For just around $50, this was enough food for both dinner AND lunch the next day for two of us (the portions are so generous that $50 essentially bought us four meals between two hungry adults!). What we ordered:
1. The $10 spam musubi and chicken skewer plate (both delicious). By the way, the chicken skewers à la carte are amazingly priced, at only less than $2 a skewer.
2. Chicken katsu - perfectly breaded, flavorful, and love that Aloha seems to only use dark meat/thigh (no breast, and therefore far juicier).
3. Bbq meat plate - the beef, shortrib, and chicken were all perfectly grilled. And of course, we loved the classic sides consisting of Mac salad and rice.
4. Crispy shrimp - loved how crispy they were.

I noticed that they cater as well - making a mental note to call them for my next event, as the value for quality and portion is beyond outstanding.

“We really enjoy the Loft Hawaiian food. They closed the really big nice one in Torrance and now there are multiple small ones with simple decor. The food is still amazing but the atmosphere is a bit less than the big restaurant was. I recommend everything but my favorite dishes are. Lomi Salmon, spam musubi, island style fried chicken, lau law and of course the kalua pork. It seems like everything comes with rice and macaroni salad. 😋 so good. I don't think you can go wrong here everything is delicious.“

“It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

Along with the flavor, another one of my favorite things about this place is they are not skimpy. I usually get a large and can spread it out over two days because it is so filling. The fish scoops are packed and they hook it up with the toppings and sauces.“

The people there are very nice, they have reasonable prices, and I feel like they are consistent with the quality of their food( at least for the last 5 years that I've been going).. my go tos are usually Pupusas de queso con jalapeño and bean and cheese, oh and the loroco ones. Plus an order of yucca frita with chicharron.“
