“Best cookies around honestly. My coworkers and I have made this our go-to for office treats. The cookies are always delicious - love how flavors change depending on the season while keeping a couple staples consistent. The staff is always super sweet.
Highly recommend!“

“I recently dined at Milo & Olive and was truly impressed with the experience. Every dish I tried was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seasonal menu offered a great variety, and you can really taste the quality in each bite. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back!“

“Visited multiple times during our stay in Santa Monica. The donuts are delicious. It’s no frills, definitely not one of these new fancy donut shops. But the donuts are simple, tasty and reasonably priced ($10 for a half dozen). The folks working behind the counter were very friendly and helpful.“

“I have been looking for the best gluten free bagels for years. Finally found it! Thank you Modern Bagel!“
“Julian is the best. He's genuine. His products have the finest ingredients and he really leans into quality vs. just dumping in a ton of sugar. His treats taste delicious because he's an exceptional baker who cares about quality.I routinely visit him on Saturdays (Pico Farmer's Market) with my family and we all enjoy a special treat. We also hired him to make cupcakes & banana bread for my daughters birthday party. They were all gobbled up in mere minutes :)“

“If you’re craving truly standout Vietnamese coffee, this spot delivers in a way that’s hard to forget. The brew has that bold, smooth character you hope for, and the creamy, lightly salted foam on top takes it to another level. Every sip feels balanced and full of flavor, and it definitely packs a kick—in the best way possible.
The baked treats here are just as impressive. The cookies have that perfect mix of chewiness and softness, and they taste even better warmed up. The chocolate and peanut butter one has quickly become a go-to treat.
And if you’re into drinks that lean a little sweet, the raspberry matcha is absolutely worth trying. It’s refreshing, vibrant, and somehow comforting at the same time.
Overall, this place consistently hits the mark—great drinks, great treats, and the kind of quality that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend.“

“A small but tasty boba shop in a sleepier part of Santa Monica. They don’t have as large of a menu as Boba Time nor do they have as many tea flavors as Sunright but overall they do have some good options and also some good optional drink additions. Inside is very small and there was only one attendant working when we arrived Sunday night for a sweet treat after dinner. They don’t have a parking lot but street parking is easy to find in this part of town. The menu is not very large, but everything that we ordered was made pretty quickly, and the attendant was very polite, and I feel that she was also welcoming.
For my first time I chose the Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée Black Tea with boba and added egg pudding, which is one of my favorite flavor combinations. The flavors were very good, not the best I’ve had in town, but still really hit the spot. They only have two drink sizes available, but I wish they would offer a slightly larger size than the one that they currently offer. Overall I would recommend and I plan to try again next time I am close by.
Parking: metered street parking only“

“It was my first time visiting this bakery café and I bought most of the vegan offerings on the right hand of the display. The ube, earl grey cream and almond croissants were expertly crisp and flaky, however, the pistachio gluten-free cake was a bit crumbly and rather plain. The vegan cinnamon roll was subtle and a bit spongy, but it was interesting to try over half a dozen vegan French pastries. Danny, our server, provided exceptional service by explaining each of the vegan pastry ingredients and menu options in a very friendly and kind manner as well as walking us to the outdoor elevator leading down to the basement parking garage. It's rare to get that kind of service in LA!“

“Capt. Eddie at the helm of this Bread shop of Kindness!!! Thank you for your suggestions and genuine consideration. Well worth the drive from Pasadena to enjoy clean air, a stroll on Ocean, and see more in this superlatively walkable neck of the woods. Thank you. I will be back“
