We always notice that there's a line of people out front, and we figured we would just check it out. My wife and I were not that hungry, but we figured we'd try their chicken burrito. Wow!!!. Amanda was super responsive and communicative throughout the planning which made things more manageable during a difficult time. Bite was also able to coordinate directly with the rental company which saved us a ton of time and energy coordating with various vendors. The rental company they partnered with was great and super professional. Barrett and his team were fantastic, super attentive and kind and professional. The guests loved the food and everyone said how great everything looked and how smoothly it went.“

We’re visiting from Switzerland and were absolutely blown away! This restaurant is a true highlight for anyone who eats plant-based. Finally a place where vegans aren’t just an afterthought with one or two token dishes on the side of the menu, but are truly at the center.

The selection is huge, creative, and incredibly delicious. Every single dish tasted like it was made with love. We (my wife, two kids and me) enjoyed the variety of vegan meals to the fullest. It’s rare to feel this welcomed and seen as a family with special dietary choices.

A big thank-you also to our wonderful server, who was kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. We not only felt nourished by the food, but also by the energy of the place.

(There were not a lot of rib bones, but a lot of the bottom portion of the spare ribs, but I did not mind because it was a generous serving) The barbecue sauce was outstanding and all of the side dishes were delicious. They were running a two for one on some of the sides so I got a ton of food.“

The Bruschetta was meticulous and delicious, my wife had the Picatta and I had a Calzone. Pasta was perfectly to the tooth. The chicken tender and flavorful. My Calzone (I make my own and have eaten them all over) was exceptional and the sauce was fresh and lovely spotlight on the tomato. Simon was really great, he was a total professional in helping us pick the food and setting the menu.

My guests said the food was really good. The standouts were his shwarma and beef short rib.

There was an abundance of food. It’s nice to know wirh Simon, that you will never feel like you ran out of food for your guests.

“We had an outstanding experience for our first catered event with LA Spice. The event planner, Andrea, was pleasant and easy to work with. She came and did a site visit to assess the possibilities for the party set up.

A few weeks later we had to change the venue. She was completely unflustered, came back for another site visit and made new suggestions about the set up.

As for the menu, she listened carefully to our parameters, then put together a menu that looked great on paper. She also worked with us to design the party layout including the colors for the table coverings, garden umbrellas, chairs, etc.

On the day of the party, she arrived early to oversee the set up. The catering staff came shortly afterwards and worked in a well orchestrated fashion to put everything together in just about 30 minutes.

The food that had looked good on paper was superb in both appearance and taste. The guests raved about the food long after the party!

The service by the staff of five (Chefs: Conrad & Dante; Servers: Agustin & Dawn; Bartender: Seth) was top-notch — pleasant, professional, attentive, and good humored. Many of our guests complimented us on how we’d found this group for our event.

For the size of our party and the food and service provided, the cost per person was very reasonable and lower than in our past experience with caterers.

We will definitely use LA Spice for future events and would highly recommend them to anyone else.“
