“The food here is unique and pretty amazing. They make their own noodles and portion sizes are generous. I ate here with my family and we got the abalone big chicken plate, along with the big beef plate. Both come with hand pulled noodles. We also tried the cold black fungus mushroom entree. Everything was delicious, but a big plate meal is sized for two people. We didn't know this going in, so we had plenty left over. Service was also really good. If you're in the mood for halal asian cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I’ve visited The Halal Cartel many times, and it’s honestly one of my favorite spots for a quick and filling meal. Every time I visit, the place is busy, which says a lot about how popular it is.

I tried the Cartel Chicken Rice Bowl, and it was really good and very filling. The rice itself is very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. I’ve tried rice bowls at several other Middle Eastern places, but the rice here really stands out to me. Combined with the white garlic sauce, spicy sauce, Cartel Special Sauce, and your choice of toppings, it makes a really satisfying meal. You can also customize the bowl and choose all the toppings you want.

The wraps are also really good. They normally come with three toppings, but you can request all the toppings if you want. Rice bowls are usually prepared extremely fast—sometimes in just about 2 minutes. Wraps usually take around 5–10 minutes, and sometimes a little longer when it’s busy.

The Mango Jalapeño Lemonade is a must-try. It’s super refreshing with a great sweet and spicy combination. The Strawberry Lemonade and Blue Raspberry Lemonade are also good.

The falafel is really good, and the masala fries are another favorite of mine.

The place also has both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor area has a playing area with table tennis, snooker, and some other games, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends while enjoying your food.

The management and staff are friendly and welcoming. Even though the place is almost always busy whenever I visit, the service is still pretty good.

Overall, I definitely recommend The Halal Cartel if you’re looking for flavorful halal food, especially if you enjoy rice bowls and wraps. I’ve visited many times, and the food has been consistently good. The flavorful rice is definitely one of the highlights for me.“

This is an authentic experience with great Egyptian hospitality and a wide array of delicious options on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan. The seating area is clean and well taken care of. Tea and water are complimentary. The attached supermarket is also well stocked and maintained. The owner/host is very welcoming and helps with ordering. The kitchen staff is also very friendly and easy to communicate with. We’ll be bam to try the Egyptian breakfast they offer all day on Saturdays and Sundays.“

“I absolutely LOVE the Good Salad! It is one of my go-to places when I’m craving a delicious salad or just when I have a hard time figuring out what I want to eat for lunch! The Good Salad never disappoints and the staff is always very friendly and patient when I am deciding on what salad I want, as if I don’t know the whole menu by heart 😭 Would definitely recommend this place! My favorite salad is the Steak Supreme with avocado added to it 😍“

Still a really great chicken. Great flavor in both the crust and chicken itself and pretty juicy too.

“This coffee shop has a nice aesthetic and a comfortable seating area, but my experience was just average. The coffee was okay—not bad, but nothing particularly special either.

The menu had a decent variety, though some items felt slightly overpriced. Service was polite, but a bit slow during my visit.

“Truly, I do not enjoy writing bad reviews but based on what happened tonight it is warranted. My two allergy kids wanted some pizza, it needs to be gluten free and dairy free. We called them we spoke to two different people at the restaurant they said that's totally okay, we will charge you 18, we're going to do the kids pizza for the allergies needed. When we drove all the way to pick it up for dinner ,they said sorry we tried to call you and tell you but we're going to charge you $50 because we have to make it large. First of all I checked my phone no one called us. They called someone else. Which really shows how unorganized the restaurant is. And second of all they had absolutely no remorse. Espically the manager. In the end I refuse to pay for something that I was lied to. And I feel like they should have still honored the price due to what they told us. It's not my fault that nobody knows what to do there. And it's affecting the customers. “tried Masala wings, got their firecracker wings, great sauce! got samosas well seasoned potatoes loved the tamarind sauce that came with it not sweet as usual but s great depth of flavor to it, was unexpected but in the best way.
seating area is simple and on the small side. not sure if there is staff not from a specific restaurant as I told the only crew on the floor that the restroom wàs out of tp and they responded they didn't look after that. there is a second rr that was stocked but just tried to get ahead of things.“
