“Insanely good bread. I stopped here randomly on my way to clinic. Definitely the most expensive pastrami sandwich I ever had but it was very very good. The meat was fantastic, not too salty and not that fatty. The bread is fresh out of the oven and melts in your mouth after a gentle crunch. No squeezing out of toppings. They know sandwiches. Too expensive to return but boy was it satisfying.“

“Stopped by to pick up a few sandwiches since I’ve been craving banh mi. Staff was kind and welcoming and the inside was well kept and clean. Ordered the BBQ pork with everything and added a fried egg since that’s my go to. Bread was perfectly crunchy but not too hard that it hurts like mouth like some other places, and the flavors of the pickled vegetables and the pork were amazing! Definitely finished the whole sandwich and wanted more. Will be back next time to try the other varieties!“
“Came to pick up lunch quick from work. Ordered a bit ahead and it was ready at the pick up shelves. Very easy to find my bag and overall easy in and easy out.Got the not so fried chicken sandwich which I actually really loves. Perfect sizing and crunch to it.Also got the avocado and quinoa salad, not big into salads but thought I'd try it as it's the best selling salad on door dash but just thought it was ok maybe missing a protein to wrap it all together.Overall will definitely be back to try more sandwiches“

Food came out fairly fast, even with a queue of to go orders. 12-130PM on a Sunday was very busy - all tables full, a number of families with small children. Quality and portions were good, like any other Mendo. Staff behind the counter were helpful if you needed something like silverware or to go containers. Two not so good things: * It's really loud inside. Combination of music being played plus concrete floors and floor to ceiling glass windows so all the sound bounces. I think most Mendo's are like this but this location is smaller than the others I've been to so it seems even louder. When it's warmer I would sit outside but I went on a chilly, wet day and preferred inside. * Bathroom floor was a bit wet. Usually wouldn't matter much to me but being on crutches or if you have people uneasy on their feet, could be unsafe in there.“

“Lee's sandwich shop was a quick stop for lunch while in town for an event so made the walk over to order up since the online order was not available until 6pm. Instantly you knew why it was a bit unorganized in the ordering and order come out process. Multiple people saying I ordered this and got the incorrect item and I'm talking a chicken skewer ordered ended up coming out as a sandwich. After getting through the ordering process you get your number and each item gets called out one by one rather than getting the entire order out in one so you end up with 5 bags. The food was tasty, the #6 bbq pork bahn mi wasn't the best I've had but it was tasty, the bread had great texture and balance of crunch and chew and the filling paired well with the sweetness from the pork, the vinegar punch of the picked veggies and the spice from the jalapeño paired well. The sandwich was a great size for the price as well and filling so a bargain if you split it or save half for later on the day. The spring rolls were refreshing and fresh with a balanced peanut sauce for dipping. All in all a good meal but with the now open sign out front I think some time to fix some of the kinks out would make it even better.“

I got their new French Dip (filled with roast beef) and Pastrami Dip. Both came with piping hot au jus on the side for dipping. oh my godddd it was sooo good!!! I did not have high hopes but it far exceeded it. They did forget the pepperocinis I added on the sandwiches which I think would've elevated the flavor profile but it was still so good. I will say that it was pretty pricey. Two 9-inch sandwiches with chips and a large drink came out to $45 so that did take me by surprise. But if I were to recommend a sandwich, this location would be on the list because of the service and cleanliness.“

The horseradish was a lovely pairing to the dip and the au jus was pleasant and not too salty. “Yesterday, after doing our grocery shopping at safeway we decided to get sandwiches at Togos. Since it was over 90degrees and I am pregnant with twins I didn't feel like cooking. As we were approaching the door the women working behind the counter was locking the door. I asked her if we could come in if they were open. She said we close at 7pm. I looked at my watch and it was 6:57pm. So I said so we can't come in you are closed? The woman asked if we were going to place an order to watch i said yes. She said ok and opened the door. I was shocked. We placed our order and had some casual conversation with the woman while she was making our sandwiches. What a nice lady! Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was efficient and made each of our four sandwiches perfectly with a smile! I was very impressed due to the fact she stayed way past 7 to accommodate us and she didn't make any mistakes AND she did this all with smile ( I think as we were all wearing masks). The good isn't superior but its edible and when in a pinch or just being lazy and pregnant or when the weather is so hot its nice to have a sandwich! Thanks for the wonderful customer service!!!“
