“Lovely food, charming interior. We had carpaccio, lobster bisque, crispy duck, and potato crusted salmon. The dishes were all prepared very well. The fresh bread was quite good, served with harissa, etc. We very much enjoyed the nut tart served with vanilla sauce and very nice hazelnut gelato. Can’t wait to go again.“

“This place was just what I was looking for. Love the French decor and ambiance! The Spanish guitar was incredible and really made my night. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. Love the outdoor patio especially on a warm night. We had a waiter that was friendly and conversational. Was so sad to know this place is closing. Was my first experience here, and I would have come back and referred others. Wonderful place that LA needs more of“

“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.“

“It's a nice restaurant, good food (not exceptional) and a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the onion soup, However, trout almondine was quite ordinary, missing any kind of sauce (lemon ?) to perk up the taste. We will try again, hoping for improvement. I do remember having a wonderful lamb shank, but that was when the restaurant was located in Malibu.“

They started a few weeks ago with a potato porage type soup which was so delicious, we had hard time not ordering more...the second vegan soup was one with garbanzo beans with other really delicious quality CONTENTS & taste. “Bryce the server was Excellent- The food was ughhh just ok- The turkey was not up to par It was like a turkey loaf, They had a dark meat confet that made no sense tasted and looked wierd-they had a smear of what I do not know added to the plate ( mystery) gravy was very little and watery- something had truffle oil added to it and lost me with that -I wanted to like it but was not very good - the sides came, flavorless Two skillets of stuffing one small whipped potatoes brussel sprouts were good, the best things were the butternut squash soup and the salad- Pies were ok Branzino looked small Darn it!“
