“Love the atmosphere of this comfortably casual bar. Ample outdoor seating provides the perfect spot to sip a beer or two relaxing in the sunshine. I don’t eat meat so I haven’t tried the burgers, which come highly recommended. The garlic parmesan fries are excellent and enough for 3 people. Sorry I can’t say the same for the cauliflower wings or pretzels with cheese sauce. But I had the best-poured beer of my life—a fresh Scrimshaw pilsner in a sparkling-clean glass. See attached video. Despite the venue’s name, they now offer cocktails as well as beer and wine.“

“Probably top 3 bagels I’ve ever had in my life. And I LOVE a NY bagel. I got the rosemary and seal salt bagel with lox, bean sprouts, tomatoes, and eggs and it was absolutely fantastic. The bagel was cooked to perfection and flavored wonderfully. The people were super nice and it was made super quickly.“

“I’d say even though waiting time was quite long (but to be fair, the place was really busy), I can get over that because the staff were super friendly. The portion wasn’t huge, but that’s actually a good thing . I’m not fan of wasting food, and since it’s not oversized, you can actually finish your plate. Plus, the price is really good, one of less locations where you get a real dish im mean not fastfood for these price 👍🏽“

“The dedicated staff at Pizzana deserves acclaim and appreciation. After a crazy night of delivery service fails, dropped drivers, unreachable Chow Now representatives, more delays, and remade orders, Kevan drove our order over themselves. It was a late Valentine dinner, not what we expected at all, but Pizzana made good on their end of the delivery and the food was great. The people at the restaurant were kind and gracious at every turn. Thank you Pizzana for being the best.“

“The place is nice and clean. It was a little too dark for me, but I still enjoyed the time dining there. The table guacamole was really good! The margaritas were good as well. My husband ordered street tacos and he was a little disappointed. They were very simple. I ordered mole enchiladas and I enjoyed them. The mole had a great taste and they were well served. My son had chicken with mole and it was very well served. He was very pleased. The service was good. The atmosphere was a little serious and dark, like more for couples. I didn't feel it like a family restaurant. Overall, we had a good experience.“

“This use to be one of my favorite locations. The service is fast, and the cashiers are always nice and professional. It’s also a very safe location but not a lot of places to eat outside like other locations. Overall it’s still a good clear restaurant with fresh food.“

First and foremost, the customer service is top tier!!!! Mike is absolutely amazing , he’s very attentive and has such a beautiful soul . ☺️ as for the food , it is absolutely delicious!!!!!!!! The pizza is soooo good the first time we went I had the Margherita pizza thin crust, the second time I went I had a classic pepperoni thin crust , both times were delicious. Add the hot honey and oh ny goodness ….. it makes it even better!! We also had the buffalo wings , and garlic fries . Everything tasted amazing! We will be stopping by here often.“

“Had steak and lobster with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Everything was delicious. Mel was our server and did a great job. It was my birthday and my grandson told the server. Next thing I know and Mel brought a dish with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and strawberries with a candle in it. Great restaurant! Really enjoyed our time there!“

I went solo one night and easily spent over $100, with food and drinks.

The quality of the food was amazing and I hope it keeps that same quality when I return. The drinks were spot on. Excellent bartenders.

The atmosphere was great. I even met 2 wonderful ladies and we went to another bar afterwards!

“The place is great. Myself and my wife came there for a pizza (truffle) the place was still not full and due to some difficulties in the kitchen. We had to wait very long time for the pizza and started to get really hungry angry.. my wife went to check on the order but still did not help. Not a good start! But then.. the pizza arrive, the stuff apologized and the pizza.. oh my good, was so good. One of the best we had for a while.. so we could forgive and the problems they had.. I really enjoyed the pizza so , even though there are so many places to eat in downtown Ventura, we found ourself in the next time back for another one.. the stuff was surprised to see us and giving them second chance and promised us the it will not happen. Again, and it was true, we ordered a great salad that arrived in minutes and few minutes after , the pizza was ready and again wonderful. I want to mention the girl Anna that was taking our orders and help in the kitchen. She was very kind polite and helpful, and new how to take responsibility when issues happened (I appreciated that) and was totally on her game the second night , and made sure everything will be great for us. ! We will be glad to come again“

“NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

“We visited this location for the second time today, and enjoyed it just as much as the first time we went to eat there. The Sherman Oaks location is one of the nicest P.F. Chang’s around, as we’ve been to quite a few in Southern California. Staff is always polite and professional, and I want to give a big “thank you” to our server, Aliyah. She was so friendly, sweet, accommodating, and is exceptionally good at her job, and it really showed! We’ve had some good and bad dinning experiences at other restaurants in the past, so it’s nice and refreshing to know that people like Aliyah truly care about the customer experience. It also reflects well on the management—that being, they spend the time and effort in training and employing great staff like her.

How helpful they are with all the questions and requests that my wife and I had. There was no request that was too big. The entire time we waited for our food I watched the gentleman at the front counter, engage with customer after customer with the same respect and helpfulness. The food is super fresh. The atmosphere is great and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t. Try the unique sodas from the fountain. They are amazing.
