“Lots of vegan choices here with faux meats. I ate my falafel and fries. The fries were a light golden, crunchy outside fluffy inside, generous portion, but it costs extra. The falafel (about five in the wrap) was good, a little dry, but good chickpea flavor 5/5...but I wished the lettuce wasn't so "spring mix from a supermarket bag" and clubky chunky...I like to see more finesse...but the pita was the thick fluffy kind and the sandwich was well wrapped so you could hold it without too much falling out. I enjoyed the cute Sierra Madre ambiance inside...though I was kept waiting so long in the place i nearly left...about 12 minutes alone before someone emerged from the back, without as much of a welcome or greeting. Well, I was excited to be there at least. Anyway, no check ins from any server but I tipped the guy 15 percent anyway, and he did thank me for that. I ordered a beef and chicken combo with rice and the proteins were grrrreat 5/5. It survived the half-hour drive home. Suggestion: Ask to have the pita bread packaged outside the container. The pita was under the proteins...alas mushy soggy unrecognizable....not smart, sorry. So if you want pita that isn't mush, beg to have the pita on the side. One star less because of that decision to put bread on the bottom for a takeout order. My mom didn't get any pita 0/5 and that's a shame bec it was the fluffy kind.“

“I ordered Pop’s Trio that comes with each skewer of chicken, beef, and beef koobideh (luleh); white rice and lettuce salad with lemon vinaigrette; savory hummus; cucumber, tomato salad; grilled pepper; and a pita bread. All the vegetables were fresh, and the meat was seasoned well. My favorite one was beef koobideh.

The mobile ordering process was straightforward and convenient, but when I went there for pick-up, it was a bit confusing about which counter to go to for pick-up because there was no one at the cashier counter and apparently the area around the right side of the counter next to refrigerator when entering the restaurant had more space for customers to order and wait. Also, I didn't find the staff welcoming or approachable, but the person who cooked and gave me my pickup order was very warm and hospitable.

“My first time here ordering for lunch and it did take a little bit for the food to buzz ready but I realized it’s bc it was all freshly made to order!

As this is low key casual setting, you order at the counter and you sit anywhere inside Blossom Market Hall or outside and bus your own trays.

The FOOD was delicious! I ordered the COMBO FOR 2 for $30. It came with rice, salad, pita, hummus- it was definitely more than enough food for 2 :)

- The CHICKEN was surprisingly NOT dry and over grilled bc it was actually very tender and juicy.
- The BEEF was great too and the slices were nicely sliced for easy consumption.

“only downside is the parking, you have to engage on a busy Pasadena Street possibly even walk some steps over there but it is more than worth it! “Overall my experience was exceptional. I’m so grateful for not only the tastey cuisine but for the proper facilities provided for patrons like myself who have IBS -Type M and live with alternating (sometimes instantaneous) bowel habits -I never know what my experience is going to be like dining-in and zankou chicken has allowed me to continue to dine in with my friends and dates without any worry that I won’t make it to the bathroom in time. This location’s restroom is in clear sight, accessible, has multiple stalls and they always keep extra toilet paper stocked incase it’s an IBS -Type D day (if you know what I mean!) Haha anyways, I just wanted to post this to spread awareness of IBS Type-M incase there is anyone out there afraid to enjoy their favorite Mediterranean restaurant with the ease knowing your pants will stay doo doo free (srry for not using scientific terms sometimes you just gotta make the most of it and laugh ;D )“

Parking: If you don't see a spot to park in front, just park in the back. You enter the parking lot on the west side of the building. There's always an empty parking spot in back, but not as shaded.“
