“I have passed by this store/ restaurant many times without stopping. Well, it turns out it was a big mistake. Today I discovered new gem in Sacramento. Store has a lot of stuff and everything very reasonably priced. But for me the highlight was the restaurant section.ambiance is very homey, serving is traditional and so authentic it made me feel like I was at home. I ordered Qabeli Pulao it was soo… delicious it was more than anybody can possible finish at an incredible price. Other menu items looks delicious too. I will come back for more to try other dishes. “We really enjoyed ourselves at Rudy's Hideaway. Food was delicious! We shared an appetizer, fried calamari. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back...highly recommend!“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Just finished dinner. Had salmon with asparagus and roasted potato. It was excellent. The service couldn't t have been better as my water glass was never empty. refilled 3 or 4 times. Would definitely recommend.“

“Really good food possibly some of the best fish and chips I have had in the area staff are friendly and nice and gave us extra fish. however the inside is a bit dusty on the top of some thing may need a bit of a face lift but in terms of the overall inside of the building it has a really cool feel of a type of resturaunt you would find next to the ocean or beach.“

“I’ve gotten blue sky before and they’re good. They’re not Panda Express, this is a family mom and pop shop. All in all, I’d say nothing to complain about. I’ve ordered shrimp chow mein and chicken chow mein before. Quality is up there. The chicken is tender and not rubbery like some joints. Although, and I hope I’m wrong, when I called in an order and asked them to have the chicken and chow mein separate (they usually mix it together), the lady over the phone said something along the lines of “oh, uh, well, uh, it’s not that we cook them earlier, but we can’t separate the chicken from the noodles because it cooks that way for flavor.” That got me a little suspicious. Come on…. It’s not like food kept warm is bad, but it sounds like she was being conservative when saying that, making me wonder how old the chow mein really is. Anyways, lol, overall good food. Can’t complain, but nothing to rave about either. 3.7ish, call it a 4 star.“
