“This manager and his team are simply the best! This was one of the first places we had dinner, after getting moved to Solana Beach, last year. For as long as I can remember, “spicy chicken”, which is Panda Express’s Orange chicken, to my son, is his happy place. Justin remembers us, he knows our order and he and his team always welcome us with a smile. This has become a weekly tradition for us, and we really appreciate the hospitality and wonderful experience every time! I also consistently observe leadership leading by example here, highly engaged and present, and creating a personalized experience for customers and you don’t always see that today. Thank you for giving us something to look forward to every week!“

“If you’re on the UCSD campus and craving real Chinese food, this place is honestly a gem. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is warm and lively, and the employees make you feel welcome. Back on the east coast the wonton noodles are large and very doughy here the are small and soft. Hard large wonton noodles in my soup. Still the best I have found other then Philadelphia and New York Chinese restaurants.“

“Got takeout it was good, I will suggest that the store train their people in cutting up a pineapple.
I've gotten a half a golf ball-sized chunk of pineapple core in two different meals.
I still will go back very tasty but I wish they would rectify that“

Sesame triple delight, sizzling beef a la mandarin, chow mein with chicken, egg drop soup, and the Hong Kong bao were all phenomenal. “I love this Chin’s Restaurant is a beautifully situated establishment with a cordial and happy staff. “Our waiter, Nick, was excellent! He served us with a big smile and was very attentive throughout our meal. The food was good overall. The only issue was that the broccoli pieces were a little too big and slightly undercooked. Other than that, we had a great experience, and Nick’s wonderful service made it even better!“

“HIDDEN GEEEEEM!!! This place is inside a grocery store which is unusual find but, hear me out... one of the best places for Chinese food. They have combo meals, and also ala carte meals and it just doesn't look and feel authentic, but it literally takes you to China, or Hong Kong. One of the best pork chops ever and also the steamed vegetables are so tasty! I would definitely go here for a quick lunch grab or a good sit down meal.“

“We loved the taste of the food here! This place beats the taste of ChinaMax but their menu might be a little more limited. Currently you can only order two items per person per round. Some food comes out a little slow, but we got super stuffed! And the service was great!“

“What a bargain for lunch! I was in the mood for lo mein and came upon this restaurant in my search in the area.
I didn't know how much their lunch special were until I sat down and looked at their menu. Wow! You cannot beat $11 for lunch these days and the food was served on a huge platter! I almost laughed when the waitress brought it out to the table.

This is a small restaurant with a few small patio tables in front. It was a weekday and it wasn't busy. The cashier/waitress was really friendly and nice. She had a ready smile for everyone who came in.

I wanted shrimp lo mein for lunch but only chicken or pork lo mein were on the lunch menu. I paid $2 more for shrimp and there were a lot in my dish. It was really good.
The side salad was plain and just mainly iceberg lettuce but the egg roll was good.“

ELMA works for la mesa panda and mira mesa location, I was so EXCITED to see her at this location. “I really do appreciate good customer service, but the young woman behind the counter went above and beyond. She not only suggested I add their app to my iPhone to get a 20% discount, but patiently helped me do it when I was fumbling with the process. She saw as sweet as can be, and unfortunately I did not catch her name. I return to that’s spot at least once a month for a lunch break while at work in the La Jolla area. With excellent customer service and food, why wouldn’t I?“
