“I came here on a Thursday around 11:30 AM and had a great experience. There was only one other table with customers, so it was quiet, with plenty of seating available. We were greeted and helped immediately.

Parking is easy since it’s located in a shopping complex with plenty of available spaces.

I ordered:

• Gyozas: Unfortunately, these were my least favorite. They weren’t pan-fried enough and had a pretty mushy texture. I gave the waitress some feedback, and she was incredibly kind and immediately removed them from the bill without me even asking.

• Creamy Tom Yum Udon (with shrimp): This dish was fantastic! It had so much flavor, and the portion was huge. I ended up taking half home, and it made for an amazing dinner later that night. The leftovers held up really well.

They also serve Thai beer, which was a nice addition and paired well with the meal.

Overall, the service was excellent, the menu is very extensive, and the dishes I enjoyed were phenomenal. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes, prices were reasonable, and the staff were great. I would definitely come back to try more of the menu!“

“My husband and I love this place !! We live in University city and AAHARN restaurant is the best Thai restaurant in University city. “I am a Thai connoisseur. Specifically curries. Even more specifically green curry. Thai Thai makes an excellent green curry. It's one of the better ones I've had in the San Diego area. It has eggplant in it, which in my opinion, is a prerequisite for making a top notch green curry. Yum! We also love their fresh spring rolls. They serve them with peanut sauce and one other sauce that is not plum sauce (what is usually served with this appetizer), but is far more delicious in our opinion. This is one of our go-to Thai places in North County.“

“Amazing place to get fresh and healthy Thai food! I’ve gotten both dine in and takeout from this location for years! Toom is an amazing person, she always makes us feel welcome (my dad comes almost weekly with our beloved family dog, Bacon).

Every item here is very delicious! Portions are fair, though the lunch special is on the smaller size because it is a lunch special. Keep that in mind. Their appetizers are very large!

I got the spring rolls two days ago. They were ordered to go, and usually spring rolls go bad in a few hours, but the spring rolls pictures stayed good for 2 whole days! I ate them 48 hours later and they barely tasted a few minutes old. Delicious peanut sauce and a Thai chili sauce!

Lastly, I highly recommend their Spices Curry Noodles. Very unique and I do think this one is best eaten in the restaurant, because it’s basically rice noodles with veggies in spicy curry, but the flavors are so unique and hit every time! The thick noodles pick up the curry sauce and omg it’s just so good!!!!

“I came here with an immense hunger. I got the tofu sandwich. I waited for about 8 minutes with intense jealousy as about 10 people were helped with their bowl and worried my sandwich was forgotten. Then it arrived. The sauces were great and I ate in a frenzy. The tofu was a little bland, but sandwich was good overall.“

I ate the Thai dunking noodle Veggie protein level 10 spicy with a strawberry Lemonade...And im was sooo satisfied with this dish. The Lemonade was freshly squeezed and perfect 👌. I got it as take out but the portion size was large and everything was truly perfect. The young lady who took my order was super kind and very informative of the food in question and very welcoming. People hate on this place cause it’s always busy and maybe their service or food is a little slow. I’ve had that experience AND the food hits 9/10 times. Try to go when it’s not peak hours on the weekend. LUNCH time here is the cheat code. Last note, I love a sweet coconut forward curry and so I don’t love their curry’s as much as the noodles and PHO.“

Please do not put huge chunks of jalapeño in the pork sandwich without warning.
Also , maybe cut the curried beef into slices, instead of 3” square chunks.
Both these sandwiches are difficult to eat .“
