Fine for hotel stayers convenience but not at all up to standard for the Sonoma restaurant options. We are locals and feel like we were lured here by the publicity and the expectation of trying tastes we don't normally run into. The one good thing is that the prices are extremely reasonable for Northern California.“

“Another winery recommended we visit this winery in Sonoma because of it's story, culture, and quality. Six of us did and it did not dissappoint. Jimmy did a wonderful job of sharing the family history, as well as the history of the winery. He also recommended great wines for us to sample and consider for purchase. “We had such a fantastic experience tasting at Winery Sixteen 600. We had a reservation but walked in hours earlier given the weather and they were happy to accommodate us. It was personable, engaging, relaxed, and we enjoyed every single thing we tried. We appreciated Brian’s willingness to spend time talking about all things wine and life with us and not feeling rushed at all. We really enjoyed the custom tasting journey we got to go on and we left with more wine to enjoy back home. Highly recommend!“

“Kiv is a total find. The front looks a little rough when you pull up…then you step through and it opens into this unexpected backyard oasis. Big shade umbrellas, fire pits, quiet corners — the kind of spot you settle into for hours.

The wines are fantastic and very reasonably priced. Father’s Watch (pictured) might be one of the best blends anywhere — balanced, silky, and way better than its price point suggests. They’re also working with some rare and hard-to-find varietals, which makes each flight feel different than the usual Sonoma lineup.

The chicken and ricotta bites? Absolute knockout. One of those dishes you order “just to try” and immediately wish you’d doubled.

Service is relaxed but sharp, the atmosphere is great, and there’s a wonderful restaurant next door. Location is solid, but you could easily drive past the humble storefront — don’t.

“I live in Toronto, Canada, and was first introduced to Schug Winery wines at our local wine stores about 10 years ago! We are currently unable to purchase California wines in Canada, and to have just recently been in Sonoma, SCHUG WINERY was my #1 choice to head to. My friend and I spent the afternoon with Theresa Blankenship (Estate Host) in their Tasting Room, sampling some of the BEST Pinot Noirs (amongst their Chardonnays, Cab/Savs) I've ever had the pleasure of tasting! Theresa's expertise, guidance, story-telling, and genuineness, gave us the experience of a lifetime in one afternoon!“

“I had the most amazing birthday experience at this winery. Not only was our server, highly knowledgeable and local to the area, but I was also able to play on the Pickleball court for an hour with one of my best friends. The Customer Sevice was amazing. The wines were delicious and I purchased two bottles of wine to take home afterwards. The grounds were beautiful, every single space was clean and tidy, the air was peaceful and the energy was so good. Most notable was Eric. He went out of his way to ensure that I had my belongings which I had left behind at the winery. He went above and beyond and shipped my item I left behind at the winery to my home in Los Angeles. Without him going above and beyond I would not have been able to have my item returned. I’m so grateful for the total experience that o had a anaba wines. “I visited this winery about a month ago on the fly with my partner while on vacation, and I left feeling so happy that we decided to stop in here. For starters, the building and landscape itself are gorgeous. The chapel on the hill in the back makes you feel like you’re in Europe. We tried several wines, all of which were unique and delicious. The best part about this place, however, was not the grounds or the wine. It was the staff. In particular, Debbie made our day, and our time with her was one of our favorite parts of the trip. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about her job, the ranch, and the wines; but also was just genuinely a hilarious and pleasant person to be around. She is truly an asset to this winery. It has been nearly a month since our visit, but we still talk about our time here several times a week.“

The brioche donut is also a yummy highlight with Nutella or raspberry filling. Do yourself a favor and get the Nutella and then a side of raspberry jam to dip it in!!!!“

“The most beautifully presented and tasty agedashi tofu I have ever had! The tempura udon was very tasty with an excellent dashi but would have been nicer with more than one tempura prawn. The restaurant smelled a little too fishy as if it hadn't had a deep clean lately. However the service was so beautiful, gracious and efficient and the room had such gentle acoustics that we both had a lovely lunch.“

“I’m so glad we found Delicious Dish! It’s a hidden-in-plain-sight gem. We’ve yet to order something that wasn’t great, the soft serve ice cream is divine, and they have my favorite iced yerba mates in the drink case. The patio overlooks a beautiful field. Don’t sleep on the to go dinners! The whole place has a welcoming indie feeling.“

“Being a local to Sonoma options are vast but our go to place is Lou’s. We go often and it always hits the spot. We’ve tried most of the menu and can’t be disappointed with any dishes.

My favorite menu item would be the Nashville chicken hot. It has great flavor and the chicken is always juicy! A side of crinkle fries and cold Coke😎.

Service is great being greeted at the door and spending time outside enjoying food.

“Best tacos in Sonoma county! My personal favorite is ordering chicken tacos with al pastor salsa, but you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. They are doing everything right in their kitchen. I recommend checking their instagram to see where they’ll be at for the week. And don’t forget the potatoes and onions!“

Personal favorites were the 2021 Merlot from Pickberry Vyd and the 2019 Cab Sav, but it’s a hard pick because everything was fantastic.“

“The wine doesn't taste good.
Probably because of European Italian wine, the taste is very bland, without layers, and very dry.
Except for the first glass of sparkling rose, which was okay, the rest of the red was not good.“

“I stopped at Bloom Carneros for lunch while my guests were out wine tasting, and it turned out to be a great find. I ordered the baby back ribs and overall the meal was very good. The kung pao sauce leaned a bit on the familiar side flavor-wise, but still paired nicely with the dish. The fries were extra crispy, which if that is your thing (and it definitely is mine), you will love them.

The staff was warm and friendly, and the whole spot has an interesting, almost hidden feel. It is the kind of place you might only know about if you are local or if someone told you to exit off Sonoma Highway. The outdoor area has a relaxed picnic-style vibe that really makes it stand out.

I look forward to stopping here again in the future and trying more of their menu.“

“I cannot believe I have lived in Sonoma for 2 years and just discovered this outstanding vodka distillery! 5 minutes from town will get you the best tasting, 64(!) calorie vodka you will ever have! All organic, non-gmo, gluten free and made from grapes. What???! They are tucked away in a super hip and gorgeous property with 5 or 6 wineries.
We tried the vodka flight and the 3 cocktail flight. Every one of them was special. We bought 5. Don’t miss any and be sure to try the espresso. Wii be back with friends! 10 stars!!!“

He made it such a great experience. In fact, Aaron told him I usually don’t buy wine at tastings and I ended up buying 6 bottles.
