“My Portuguese husband and I are fans of LaSalette which we discovered years ago through Lucia Azevedo who was in Healdsburg for many years. Her restaurant Lucia was where we honored Grandma's 90th birthday. Her brother, owner of LaSalette has the same delicious food, excellent service and place in the community. We all enjoyed traditional Portuguese dishes that began with a complimentary amuse bouche and ended with an apricot/coconut candy after our dessert. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, service is fabulous! Almost like being in Lisbon.“

“Another winery recommended we visit this winery in Sonoma because of it's story, culture, and quality. Six of us did and it did not dissappoint. Jimmy did a wonderful job of sharing the family history, as well as the history of the winery. He also recommended great wines for us to sample and consider for purchase. I'm glad we availed ourselves to learning about how our Mexican brothers worked the fields, learned the business and became and expert, purchased land, started his on winery, and served two U.S. Presidents (Obama and Bush) and the California Gov (Swarzenegger). “Came from Maine to visit family. Ate this breakfast alone. Staff was attentive and friendly. Hash browns had a Tblsp. of chopped raw onion and peppers added, which really elevated this homely dish quite nicely. Very happy with the breakfast at a reasonable price.“

“We visited Anaba in October and the tasting room was filled with pumpkins, gourds and beautiful fall colors. I did the tasting of their Pinot Noirs and what a delightful experience. “Schug Winery was our favorite. Made a reservation for the wine tasting in their cave. It was awesome walking into the cave which opens to a chandelier room very elegant with a great table. Various wines were poured and tasted. Exceptional wines at this winery. We bought a case. I highly recommend this winery for the tour and the wine!“

“This is our favorite spot in Sonoma. We live on the east coast and visit every fall. Of course we are part of the wine club! Not only is their wine fantastic but they also go above and beyond in showing hospitality. It’s special here. This is a small, family run winery. Deepak (owner, winemaker) is always there to say hello and chat and makes you feel so welcome. On this most recent trip, our friends who were also visiting CA joined us for a first time visit to Nicholson Ranch, and Jessi knocked it out of the park. She provided a lovely educational tasting experience and cave tour which included both Nicholson and Gulrajani wines, followed by some ‘heavy snacks’ (try the burrata with pistachio, it was amazing) … oh… and a lot of laughs. A great time was had by all. We will always come back.“

“Friends and I got a variety of foods here, including the nachos (which they liked), the veggie burrito (they liked), the bacon hot dog (they LOVED), and I got an XL al pastor burrito, which I liked a lot, and which tasted a lot like al pastor to me. I guess I came on a good day.

Service was very friendly. There was a bit of seating, but not a whole lot since it's a food truck. The jalapeno was okay (maybe tasted a bit old), but the salsa was really good. For me, a guy who doesn't eat a TON, the XL burrito was more than enough to fill me up for the day, with extras to eat on the next day.

I hope I'm in the area again so I can come back. If I went to high school in the area I'd probably have come here way too often...

“We stumbled upon this place by complete chance and we were met with surprise after surprise. Who knew about Kamen’s history ! Maybe people do but we certainly didn’t. It was really interesting to learn about his past - starting all the way back in india in kashmir and ending at where he did - a winning screenplay writer and certainly a winning Cabernet for us! This was the best Cabernet we had in the region. Not overpowering yet so complex. Mark herold is a magician with his winemaking and Kamen himself is a magician given everything he touches turns to gold! Great stop. Andi hosted us at the tasting room and was a great story teller! Probably because of European Italian wine, the taste is very bland, without layers, and very dry.
Except for the first glass of sparkling rose, which was okay, the rest of the red was not good.“

“Tom Was amazing! This was our first tasting on our first day in Sonoma and he made sure we were taken care of. He was also helpful with dining in the area. The outside patio was a great casual vibe and I would definitely recommend this place for any wine enthusiast!“

“I cannot believe I have lived in Sonoma for 2 years and just discovered this outstanding vodka distillery! 5 minutes from town will get you the best tasting, 64(!) calorie vodka you will ever have! All organic, non-gmo, gluten free and made from grapes. What???! They are tucked away in a super hip and gorgeous property with 5 or 6 wineries.
We tried the vodka flight and the 3 cocktail flight. Every one of them was special. We bought 5. Don’t miss any and be sure to try the espresso. Wii be back with friends! 10 stars!!!“

“The burritos are top-notch. Not the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for as when I grabbed the bag from the lady at the food truck I couldn't believe how he at they were. Two burritos ended up feeding two people for two meals in the end. Definitely go for the cheese option.“

“I've been to Ram's Gate a handful of times and have always had memorable experiences, but this visit truly stood out thanks to Monya. She went above and beyond in every way. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the wine offerings and the property, but she took extra care to make us feel genuinely special and well taken care of. Her warmth, attention to detail, and passion elevated the entire experience. Out of the many tastings we've done, this was by far the most memorable. Can't say thank you enough - Monya you were fantastic!

One last thing... the fireplaces and the Christmas decor was just incredible! Definitely will be a holiday tradition for us to visit moving forward.“

“This review is specifically for Charlie. He is such a gem of a person and we were so lucky that he was the one doing our tasting because it took our already 5 star experience to a 10. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the vineyard and the wine. It was such an actual joy to listen to him speak about each wine and with such detail cause you could really tell that he cares about the vineyard but also the experience of the customer. The wine was also incredible and we ended up bringing back a lovely bottle of pinot noir back to New Jersey with us and will definitely be looking for this in our local stores. I highly recommend coming here to catch the sunset as it was stunning and felt like we were in a movie! I loved my experience here and would recommend this to anyone visiting, it was a true highlight for us during our stay. Thank you Charlie and go Eagles!“

“Food quality and service was top notch as was in our past visits. Though I requested a separate table, we were still seated at bench style seating. A separate table prevents being too close to other diners where their conversations can be intrusive and gives a measure of privacy. Given my reservation was done well in advance, it didn't seem unreasonable it couldn't be honored. Otherwise, all was good!“

“I think their food is really good for the price. They are super quick and easy to work with. If you’re there for lunch and don’t have much time, they’re on it. I like all their food and it’s the most affordable place in sonoma for sure. If you’re there often the woman who runs the front remembers you and your order. She’s the best. Love them and always come here.

Vegetarian options: They have vegetable fried rice, an egg cabbage dish, egg rolls, vegetable chow mein, and sometimes stir fried vegetables that have a nice mellow sauce on them.“

“The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. It was very quiet and we were able to talk at a comfortable volume. It was pricey, so definitely a special occasion type of place. We all loved our food and ate every bite. Save room for dessert! They tried to add a chair to our table that was in the direct path of where all the servers & bussers needed to walk in order to access all the other tables, & whoever sat there would have been very much in their way, so we all sat together in the booth & got rid of the chair, which worked perfectly.“

Fine for hotel stayers convenience but not at all up to standard for the Sonoma restaurant options. We are locals and feel like we were lured here by the publicity and the expectation of trying tastes we don't normally run into. The one good thing is that the prices are extremely reasonable for Northern California.“

“Love Mary's. My grandson and I each had a meal that was new on the menu. Mine was the Fried Clams and his was the Chicken Picata. Both were outstanding. The batter on the clams was very light and crunchy. I also tasted his chicken and it was outstanding. Of course, we also had an order of the plain breadsticks. So happy I live in a town with two Mary's Pizza Shacks.“
