“Tasty food, generous servings, below average prices. My wife and I had the roast duck noodle soup. Tasty duck, lots of nice noodles, I think it was Chinese broccoli cooked tender. Broth was okay. Lots of takeout traffic. Not where I would take a first date, run down. Service was okay. Decent parking in the lot. I'd go again for the food. Takeout is ideal. Lots of other menu choices to try. Discovered this through Vic and Jeff's food blog on YouTube.“

“I was running errands and saw this place which peeked my interest. The restaurant is clean, with decent foot traffic, mainly for takeout
I dined in, opting for the 2 delicacy on rice for $14 (choose any meat). I got the soy sauce chicken and bbq pork. I’d say they’re both on the sweeter side than what I’ve been used to. Had to ask for extra soy sauce. The rice itself tasted old - kinda on the dry side. service was fast and friendly.

“A barbecue restaurant worth recommending. It’s very delicious. The taste is superb. The oysters are big and cheap. The grilled fresh milk is also superb. There are also authentic grilled cold noodles and lamb skewers. It’s really worth a try.“

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“Was hungry so went here for a quick bite. The line was ok waited about 5 minutes before I got seated. My server Joe helped me in recommending what was good to pick from the skewer bar. The beef quality was really good and the appetizers were nice too.“

Miss Gloria is a sweetheart of a person; I had the pleasure of conversing with her about life and family, while my food was being prepared. Her golden tips on a happy marriage (just got married last year) will stay with me forever. I will be back on future trips to Pasadena!

“I went here for the first time on a Monday evening. The service was really good and on point on this day. Staff was always checking on us, always making sure our stove was clean or removing finished dishes. I got us the Deluxe meal. The spicy baby octopus was good. The gyōza dumplings and egg rolls were really good. They have sushi as well. Their menu can be accessed by QR code or you can ask for a physical menu.“

“We came here 2 days back to back and was definitely not disappointed the first day we just wanted to try the place out and ordered the pork belly sliders and a brisket Mac n cheese. Both were amazing but… the next morning we came to get brunch and ordered the chili verde breakfast burrito along with the tri tip breakfast bowl and I must say that had to be the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! Plus the sauce with the salsa they give you for that bowl was delicious!!! I’m just upset that the brunch is not year around“

“Absolutely delicious! I decided to try this place today and I'm immediately reviewing to get people to support this local gem. I had the tofu vegetable combo plate and it was tasty as hell. The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. I'm happy I was able to bring some home for later and will be going back regularly now!“

“Rodney's ribs are the Truth. I moved to Pasadena recently. I've had Q at Dreamland in Alabama, 12 Bones in North Carolina, Franklin's in Austin, Corky's in Memphis and Hecky's in Chicago, and this is some of the most righteously smoked meat I've ever had. Thank you, Rodney.“

“Unfortunately, I can never try this place because I don’t live locally and I always try to call them to find out even if there’s any parking because when I go on Google Earth, it’s impossible to see the restaurant and not sure where to park also, I want to make sure that they’re open because sometimes businesses say they are and then they are closed for whatever reason I’m trying to call them day after day, but there are no phone numbers. It’s not a very smart business move because I feel like they are probably losing many business like people like myself. I wanna try it.“

Had a group of 8 to try again. Roasted duck and BBQ pork 叉燒were savory. 雪菜鴨絲炆米 is not really recommended especially when you compare the roasted duck and the Duck Rice noodles (鴨絲炆米).
In general, still recommend you give it a try.

Ordered Togo last time, portion, price and taste were decent. Dine in this time. It's full house due the small size of this restaurant. Ordered Hong Kong style minced beef rice with sunny side up on the top. A bit dried and disappointed. Another Eggplant with shredded pork and bamboo slices. Taste good . Of course, best match with rice. Additional $1.95 for the HK style lemon tea with refills which is my favorite. Why not.
Definitely I will go back and try something else.

“I love coming to T-Kebob! However, the last time I came here I noticed their prices have jumped and they no longer serve their lamb and beef skewers in orders of 10. This is my favorite spot for skewers though and their corn cheese is perfect! They've also switched brands for their Taiwanese sausage and it doesn't taste as good.“

“There was such a long wait here on a Sunday night, but it was totally worth it. Little Skewer is my favorite place to get skewers. Once you step inside, you’ll understand why it takes forever to get a table - you won’t want to leave! The atmosphere of the restaurant seems specifically curated to create the perfect environment for eating and drinking. Beers were BOGO. Chinese wines were served in tea pots and dainty little saucers. Beneath the tavern lights, a lounge singer sweetly serenades the diners through the huge karaoke machine at the front of the store.

Service is mostly done yourself through an iPad. You place your own order through the system and workers bring the food out to you.

Meats such as beef and lamb skewers are ordered in batches of 10 and will most likely make up the bulk of your skewers, but there are many other types of additional skewers to choose from. An unexpected favorite for me was the king oyster mushroom skewers. I don’t even like mushrooms, but these king oyster mushrooms were irresistible. Biting into the springy flesh was so satisfying. The spicy, vibrant flavors and juiciness made my mouth water and crave more. The scallops, served in their shells with glass noodles, garlic, scallions, and chili paste, were addictive enough to pound back like shots. I also really liked the chicken skin skewers because the crispiness provided a nice contrast to the other dishes. And I liked the pineapple sausage so much that I ordered two.

I would totally recommend Little Skewer for dinner, catching up with friends, and a good time.“

“Came by with my son last minute they were almost sold out (says a lot about how amazing there food is) so we grabbed what they had left bbq beef ribs mac and cheese and smoked beans….you guys the food was beyond AMAZING i love bbq but this particular spot 10/10 my son is a picky eater i got him his own plate he devoured the ribs and mac and cheese. I highly highly recommend do not listen to the few who gave negative reviews because you will definitely miss out. The service was amazing very nice and patient with us. “This our first time here. We came at almost closing ( 840pm) but the employee was really nice to accomodate and still help us with the food. We ordered a combo 2 for $29 ( only online) n got it to go since they almost close. The food came out hot and portion is generous, they gave a lot of meat and sides r delish. For a bbq chain this is really good quality. Fries r crispy n well seasoned, mac cheese was good, bbq sauce was delishhh. The toast was soft but crunchy at the same time, very buttery. The meat is so juicy and tender and soft fall off the bone type. I couldnt finish my plate in 1 go n i was pretty hungry! Definitely will be back again :) 9/10“

Yum, yum.Tri tip, ribs and chicken.Yes, try the chicken it falls off the bone totally juicy and has an excellent flavor (tip: you don't need any sauce) it's great.Tri tip is juicy and you get good chunks.We got 2 sides mac n' cheese (thumb size noodles and plenty of cheese. Also a side of potatoe salad, its chunky with black olive pieces, egg pieces and quite creamy. I don't know the recipe but it's good and home made.Giant barrel smoker. They park at the cross streets of Francisquito blvd. and are off of Puente Ave. (Look past the O'Reilly Auto parts) Follow the smoky smell!“

“I was driving down Whittier Boulevard. On the corner of Whittier Blvd and Rancho drive. I smelled some barbecue it caught my attention quick like. Luckily I hadn't had dinner yet so I stopped and got a $20 plate. It was stacked with meat. It had tri-tip, chicken, and ribs. Smoked to perfection. The plate included a side of Mac and Beans. I also had two tacos. All the meats are full of flavor, tender and juicy. If you're in the area and you enjoy barbecue I highly recommend this spot.“

An appetizer was brought out that we did not order, as it was included, which was right away different and tasted unlike any other soybean and peanut I’ve experienced. It was delicious!The lamb and beef was cooked to exact request and was also delicious!While we have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout the United States, as we travel extensively and dine out regularly this surf past any, and all other restaurants, we’ve dined in for this type of food. Here’s the difference this was not Chinese food that has been Americanized in most Chinese restaurants. This was true Chinese prepared food.I truly believe you would have to travel to China to get this quality of food and culture.I will also say that we spent 3/4 of our time speaking to Cindy, whose father owns the restaurant which caters to home cooked events at homes, so this is not their primary source of how they deliver the product to the public. The hour and 15 minutes we spent there was made so much more enjoyable as Cindy walked us through the culture the food and Wyatt tasted different because it was truly cooked to Chinese standard. So I have to say, was it the food that was the greatest experience, or Cindy‘s presence and her willingness to have an open conversation about why they do it the way they do, and enlightened us about the culture of the food,I strongly recommend anyone that wants to find out what real Chinese cuisine is and how it is cooked and prepared in China. You realize very quick that this is not your drive-through, Chinese pick up takeout, that we are accustomed to here in the United States. This is a must try for the food if nothing else and when you’re there I recommend you ask for Cindy.After visiting with Cindy, she made it a total experience for an awesome evening of culture that was absolutely excellent.It is always nice to be able to understand and realize the actual culture of cuisine you are eating. Cindy, she made an experience of great food, a completely enjoyable experience. That was absolutely excellent off the charts.
