“6 of us had a superb meal. The server was attentive, but forgot to mention the rolls had powdered garlic after I had told him I had a intolerance of Powdered and dried garlic.. I ordered the Lobster ravioli, which was an appetizer, for my dinner and a dinner sized portion was served. It was delicious and I devoured the whole dinner. Will come again when we are in the are.“

The waitress was literally superwoman on Christmas eve, all by herself, handling different positions, she was doing the best she could and still kept her cool. Literally, there was only two other workers at the restaurant that day (the chefs), the waitress had said to me. Its obviously christmas eve. I'm not going to name the reviewer here, but they seem to have no heart, no compassion, no shame, and just rude to post a review like that...Just give them a break, it's not all about u. “Will start off by saying the food was great! However the hostess was another story. Recwntly had dinner on 8/11/24. The hostess would not let us sit at the table to start ordering drinks because we were missing 2 out of the 8 people in our group. needless to say we already had 6 ready to be seated. once we were seated the table next to us had the umbrella slanted. this caused the table to fly over from a gust of wind shattering a plate and cutting my leg. the stay was kind enough to provided a wipe and some bandaid. We continued our night until the hostess decided to empty water cups from other guest into the flower bed behind us. Which then caused the dirt to splash up on one of our guest white shirts and be covered in mud. A smug sorry was replied out. As stated before the food was terrific and the wait staff was great but the hostess needs to be replaced.“

I have always felt like cake just tastes like, well, cake haha. But the cake Erin made was genuinely SO GOOD. We received so many compliments on our cake. “While this restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside, what they serve within is spectacular and a new family favorite. Appetizers were out in under five minutes and the main course within an additional five minutes. Food was hot and fresh. General Tsao was the favorite at the table. Even got a show of a couple bears outside in the dumpster.“

After ordering 6 deluxe cookies (Oatmeal Walnut Chocolate Chip- chefs kiss 😘), decided to indulge into trying their ice cream. As our wonderful hostess, Karen, offered samples of flavors, she introduced this signature flavor chocolate chip dream. This sample was not only delicious it had my brain in overdrive! Not because of its fabulous texture and taste, but this chocolate based ice cream is PURPLE!

“Emailed the bakery from the SF Bay Area a few weeks before the event and ordered a custom cake for my birthday weekend in South Lake Tahoe. They responded promptly as what their website says ( days minimum response time) and was able to confirm my order after a few days of back and forth with the design and flavor via email. I decided on a 6in round black and white cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Paid for it over the phone and picked it up an hour earlier than my pick up time (i called and asked if i can pick up earlier). It was sooo beautiful and delicious! We all loved it! Thank you Sugar Pine Bakery!!! You made me so happy!“
