“Amboy is by far the best burger place I been in LA. I got their signature dry aged burger with fries. I found this place from a food guide website saying Amboy was ranked one of the top 5 burger place in LA. I truly agree with that.

When I went, they let me spin a wheel to get a promotion; you can get 10% off, 15% off, free fries, extra napkins, etc. I got super lucky it landed on a 50% off. I am not sure if they do this regularly or if that was during a special season.

However, I highly recommend everyone to come to Amboy for once. Get their signature dry aged burger. It is not a cheap burger, but it is definitely worth it.“

“Been wanting to try this place out being a burger afficianado and reading the reviews. It did not disappoint. I dont usually like to give to hipster spots in now gentrified areas they've invaded with attitudes they bring but, this place is a rule to that exception this time & their food is amazing here.
I went with the Goldburger (add+ Pastrami), Fries & Craft Soda (Ginger Ale).
Perfectly Juicy Burger without creating a soggy fall apart bun, which held its texture consistently thoughout and the juices did not overpower the flavorful meat, cheese & pastrami. The bun had a very nice clean taste and texture, a job well done they do here.
Restaurant, Tables, Floors, Sidewalk, Unisex Restroom very clean and didn't have any lame Pronoun Verbiage. Kitchen looked very clean.
Friendly, Helpful Staff want to please their guests. None seem lazy and they keep themselves busy with work.

“I recently stopped by Tam’s Burgers and had a solid overall experience. The menu is packed with variety—from classic burgers and fries to breakfast items, Mexican dishes, and even slushies. It’s a place where you can definitely satisfy a craving no matter what you’re in the mood for.

One of the standout positives is that they now accept EBT, which makes their food more accessible to everyone. The prices are reasonable considering the portions, most meals range from about $10 to $15. They also have combo options that include drinks, and the drink station is fully stocked with Pepsi products, frozen slushies, and soft-serve machines.

The interior is simple but clean, with a modern black tile floor and red booth seating. There’s plenty of space to sit and eat comfortably. The “Order Here” signage is clear, and there’s a solid system in place for taking orders.

Staff were efficient, though not overly friendly, which is fine, this place seems more about speed and quantity than sit-down service. Still, the food came out hot and fresh.

On to the food - Gourmet Carribean is a must try! the oxtails, jerk chicken, curry chicken, chick peas and the Friday special, Jerk Salmon. Everything I've tried is delicious. “OMG girlfriend!! I have searched the world for a burger that lives up to the burgers of my youth. Back in the day, in Australia, you would go the local fish and chip shop and order a 'burger with the lot'. It would come out of the bag looking like a hot mess, dripping in beef juice and melted mayonnaise and taste exactly like you would expect...like a mouthful of everything they had stuffed into the bun. Service? For L.A. staff, I actually got a smile, 5 stars. Atmosphere 5 stars? It is iconic downtown L.A. and on the day I was there even came with free 'downtown L.A. entertainment' of a woman walking in out screaming at her invisible adversary. What more can you ask for?“

“This place has amazing food! The flavor always hits the spot and it's perfect when you're craving a burger or some tasty chili cheese fries. They have tons of other menu options like salads, pastrami sandwiches, club sandwiches, and kids meals.

There is a lot of indoor seating as well as a drive-thru. The drive-thru takes a bit long because they prepare the food fresh - though it's a lot faster than other made-to-order fast food places with a drive-thru. I definitely recommend only using the drive-thru if you have the time to spare.
