“The Pawn Shop has probably become one of my favorite places to eat in San Francisco. I love finding cool unique spots that have a cool dining experience!
I have visited a few fun speakeasy experiences across the country, and The Pawn Shop nails it. Meeting the Pawn Master was so much fun and talking about my object to trade was HILARIOUS! I could have stayed there all night looking at trinkets and hearing stories!

The food was really good! Hands down my favorite dishes were the octopus and the shrimp in smoked paprika. I love the tapas style small plates, because you get to try everything and we shared a bunch of plates, which made it so much fun.

Then finally what totally made it for me was a line of Conga dancers appearing out of a hidden panel in the wall! I didn't realize 200 Channels was next door and we ended up watching a show after dinner.

“Tonight, after a long and tiring day at work, I visited Society Restaurant & Hookah Lounge to relax—and it was the perfect choice. The place is beautiful, calming, and has such a great vibe with relaxing music. The staff were amazing: very kind, welcoming, and truly hospitable. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating; I personally love sitting outside, but since it was raining, I chose to sit inside and still had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend their kanafa and tea—they were incredibly delicious. This is a perfect spot to unwind, relax, and enjoy quality time. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“One of the most delightful spots in SF. Given how incredible the quality of their food is, they could charge more if they wanted to, but they keep it cozy. The Toro Uni Ikura mini-don is worth flying across the country for. The nigiri omakase is massively underpriced and incredible. The tri-tip katsu is light tapas fare (instead of a huge filling portion) that tastes better than what I had in Tokyo. Strong recommend.“

“The Lore Speakeasy Alice & Wonderland Escape Room experience was Absolutely Incredible!!! Lots of puzzles that were difficult but not impossible. Our host was funny and super responsive throughout the room. The drinks were good. We had such a fun time and I highly recommend to anyone even remotely interested. “Such a special place. Similar to La Ciccia, Binu Bonu maintains a lovely neighborhood feel. Huge selection of wine (all of it new to me and something I really liked), wonderful charcuterie type small plates (out of this world olives). The stars are the husband and wife that make the magic place happen.“

I them had akani red tuma dashing and a flame roll. The sushi was perfect and the spice of the flame roll was squelch with my Nigerian sake! I could eat at the this place daily.“

The sushi is good. The head chef was really awesome and just came to our table various times and explained what he was doing. He was serving us and it's just a really great vibe. They have an $11.99 all-you-can-drink special, so $11.99 per person. I'll definitely be coming back. They also have this weird robot thing, so the service is super fast despite only being one or two servers for the whole restaurant. “Absolutely delicious! This restaurant is Halal. We ordered the Chicken platter and the Lamb and Beef combo wrap with Hummus. It was delicious and the quantity was large as well. The wrap was stuffed with meat and the platter was as well. Definitely recommend.“

“Sara was very helpful advising us on wine pairings with the food we ordered. Way beyond what we’d expect at an airport restaurant! The flatbreads were very good - get the prosciutto and goat cheese. I didn’t go five stars on the atmosphere as the back of the restaurant is a cacophony of Vino Volo’s music being stepped upon by the next-door store. Just too much competing noise - sit out front.“
