“I love this place , The Beer is good and cold ! The Brisket is the best for me , nice and juices, never dry w/ just a touch of char that gives it the best taste ever ! The portions seem like there smaller but I blame covid and all the other things that have gone on in our country, like the cost of living anymore is getting bad, we feel it and I'm sure the management feels it to ! And trust me ,Phil's is good but, Cali has it beat hands down !

The bartender was very knowledgeable and we had amazing service the entire time. The decor and everything just fit and suited the vibe. One of the best thing is about this place is that it's DOG FRIENDLY! Met the cutest furry friends here that just added to the experience.

Definitely do the cider tasting and the polenta tots was different and interesting. Seems like a great place for a meal, catch a sports game or catch up with friends or a nice place to chill while you are in between meet ups or appointments.“

This was my 1st visit however, they have been here a long while and pushed hard to stay open during Covid-19. Parking lot is small, however we had no issue.“

“The food was delicious. The service was so so. They even removed my drink and utensils while I was still eating and did not bother to bring them back. How is a customer supposed to eat hot soup without utensils or a beverage to wash it down? How is a customer supposed to eat the salad bar or hot food with out utensils, napkins or drinks. I even paid $3.59 plus tax for a beverage. I got the all you can eat salad bar. The restaurant had only 3 or 4 tables full and was not busy. However since 1 lady was mopping they forced me out of a clean table into a dirty table. I prepaid my salad barmeal and also paid extra for my soda. I even left a good tip. However they did not even offer me toast and even took so long to come by. Then when they did they took my soda cup and utensils. I was there over 30 minutes.“

“It was a wonderful experience! The decor drew us into the patio area with quaint Mexican architecture and design. We were seated directly and we found the service by the staff was top shelf! There was an excellent menu and drinks list to choose from. We ordered from the menu offering entrees for two and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and we had room for dessert which had a great choice of desserts to choose from. Overall it was a great experience!!! We will definitely return!!!“

“My friend Jerry and I had lunch on Saturday at around 1 pm and we shared the meatloaf dinner. Unfortunately we both got really sick from it and thought it was food poisoning. Luckily we didn’t have to go to emergency but suffered from it for a long time. We will never have that again. We are regular customers and enjoy the potato cheese soup.“

I got a made to order omelet, minute steak and Louisiana sausage. They had a few more options like waffles and a fresh fruit salad bar as well. I had green tea… which suspiciously tasted like the raspberry tea that was next to it… but overall, for less than $4.50 this cannot be beat. The other day I had a Denny’s All-American slam for about 4x as much and not as filling. Mercer Galley be bussin’ y’all.

The squash soup was not what I expected - the description mentioned squash blossoms but it came with squash pieces. The chicken artichoke pizza was delicious! I would get it again!

“We had the greatest server, Taylor in your Rancho San Diego restaurant, Jamacha Road,. She was so personable, efficient, friendly and extremely attentive. The food arrived hot and it was delicious. “Fun concept! If you enjoy Taco Bell and want to add some new varieties of beverages to the mix, it’s definitely worth a try. We did the Luxe Cravings Boxes (x3) and added the Caramel Cafe Churro Chiller (a little too sweet for our taste), the Mexican Chocolate Churro Chiller and the Strawberry Passionfruit Refresca.
