“IN LOVE with the food they make here. I've tried their dinner rolls, sandwich bread, croissants, and cookies. They are all delicious and fairly priced!
Favorites so far; Rosemary olive oil sandwich bread, garlic parm dinner rolls, ANY of their stuffed croissants, and I'm obsessed with their triple chocolate cookies (not overwhelming and perfectly crunchy).
This place is Cash Only with some rotating stock, so it's worth checking in every week. I plan to remain a regular.“

“I used to buy mochi from the local asian stores in San Diego until I found out about Thank You Very Mochi location in Chula Vista. Store packaged mochi doesn't come close to homemade mochi which uses natural ingredients, and it tastes so delicious. I've been coming to Thank You Very Mochi on a regular basis ever since. “The bread here is amazing! I arrived in the morning around 830am and the smell is intoxicating in the best way. I ordered the regular pan de sal as well as the ube and cheese pan de sal. It's the best pan de sal I have ever had! It melts in your mouth and has the ideal pillowy texture you want. The ube variety has the cheese inside and it is perfect! You can't eat just 1. The customer service was great and the shop overall is well mantained. I am already planning my next trip back. It's a must try bakery.

On our initial call, she listened carefully to my requests and how I envisioned our dessert table to look like. She was always available via text messages or phone calls for any questions. Her prices were also reasonable. On the day of the delivery, my friend who was handling my event set up said Amaya was very sweet and came on time to deliver the desserts. She even left us a sweet thoughtful card congratulating us on our baby shower. As for the desserts, they were to die for!! I don’t have much of a sweet tooth and my husband is all about desserts. So between the two of us, we can be picky. From the cookies to the fruit cups to the cupcakes, everything was delicious. Special shoutout to the fruit cups, they were so good (highly recommend them)!! Our guests loved the desserts and asked where we got them from. “Just a hole in the wall donut shop offering traditional tasty donuts. I have to say with everyone describing the dough as fluffy.... they are spot on. There's something about it that's so soft and almost has the melt in your mouth feeling.
We ordered an old fashioned glazed and chocolate, as well as a chocolate twist. The gentleman that helped us was so nice and helpful. He gave us 2 donut holes for each of pur orders. It may not seem like much but this is a nice gesture for any guest.

My husband ordered the iced mocha coffee, he said it was ok. I ordered a hot coffee with cream. I have to say that the coffee was bold and good. I didn't expect that.

Definitely will be back for the good donuts and good prices!

“Never been to Hawaii and now I don't have to 😁 I got the plain, guava, and Bavarian cream. They were really good and the coffee was bomb. My Bavarian cream had a little chocolate on it and I was not mad at that. If they had a mix, I would get it. Donut was fluffy and not oily tasting.“
