“I’m just going to say it: the Sweet Country Blues Sandwich at Rise Southern Biscuits in El Cajon is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had.

A sweet blueberry biscuit, savory sausage, American cheese and a fried egg. That combination sounds simple, but it is ridiculously good. The blueberry biscuit is sweet, buttery and soft, and that sweetness against the salty sausage, melted cheese and fried egg is absolutely perfect.

This is one of those rare things you order that halfway through eating it, you’re already thinking about when you can come back and get another one.

My advice? Skip everything else on the menu and get this. Don’t overthink it. Get the Sweet Country Blues Sandwich and you’ll thank me later.“

“Visiting family from the East Coast and my daughter took me here today. I was stationed in Daegu South Korea for 2 years while in the Army. we used to get bb.q chicken almost every weekend. The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. I highly recommend you check them out, you won't regret it!“

“This was my family's time first trying out this place and I've got to say the chicken has a unique crisp to it and is very flavorful and it's one of my favorite.

The wings I've had in a very very long time everyone loved him including my kids and the non spicy options were great for them we got the secret sauce as well as the Galbi wings.“

Lately, the service feels disorganized and slow, the quality seems inconsistent, and that warm Filipino welcome and atmosphere seem to be disappearing. On my most recent visit, I even received only 5 pieces of chicken when I ordered 6. Jollibee shouldn’t feel like just another busy fast-food chain. “Went at lunchtime, parking wasn't the greatest. Guy behind the counter was nice and friendly. First time visiting and he helped me with selecting a good combo to try. Bought the honey topping on the chicken pieces. Not sure what they called them. Sides of cole slaw and fried rice. The first time ever I had white fried rice and it was delicious. All the food was hot and fresh, very good. Not sure where the tomato comes in, I surely didn't get any in my meal. Sat inside. Kinda quiet. They have 3 TV's, but none were on. Music was playing instead. Enjoyed the visit.“

“I ordered something a specific way and it was not what i received, upon stating so to the person that took my order i received what i felt like said- i was putting them out for a shredded chicken instead of chopped. I shut my mouth and sat and ate and about half way through my meal she brought over the original ask. I don't think I've had that big of a problem here it's just between forgetting to put things in your bags when you're in the drive thru, things like that then of course there's the less food for more money thing. Try the times when they're not busy. I mean the food is good it's just inconsistent.“

I didn't get his name, but a man who seemed to be a manager dressed in the Chick Fil A business casual uniform greeted me, repeated my order to me and asked me if there was anything else I needed and he also recommended I try the chicken and waffle sandwich on my next visit. Loved his energy and professionalism. The food was hot and great as always. “Nice quiet kfc fastfood in Bonita. The service is fast, place is clean, and staffs are somewhat friendly. I ordered what used to be a $5 fillup is now almost $6, still reasonable for two pieces of chicken, side, biscuit, chocolate chip cookie, and a regular drink. Some of the benches need to be replaced, but overall, very comfortable with the dining environment. Hidden away in a non busy area of bonita.“

“The place was hoppin’ when we got there, a man wanted to know when his food would be ready, and the guy on the register was very polite, reasonable, reassuring and RESPECTFUL. We had a delay but not that long. The drive through made it very clear why. The employees were working fast and diligently, and I was, to say the least, pretty impressed. I read some of the negative reviews here and don’t think they are deserved, according to what I saw, on Tuesday.“
