“We worked with the SF Gelateria team for our wedding in Sonoma and it was a big hit! There was a large selection of flavors and they were responsive and easy to work with. Pricing was more reasonable than other vendors in the Sonoma / Napa area. Only wish that I had a chance to try all 7 flavors on the night of (or asked for a to-go container). Would definitely work with them again.“

“I love this place! It’s great to get Asian-flavored ice cream. Also their takoyakis are very good too! I like their custard takoyakis and their Oreo one. My boyfriend likes their Nutella one.

The ice cream’s also really great here too. They have a good milk ice cream. I also like their cookies and cream ice cream. They also change up the pairing of their swirls ice cream, so it’s nice to drop by and see which flavors they’ve paired up for swirls this time. I also like how they make the ice cream fancy. You can get a waffle fish on top of your ice cream. Also you can add toppings like sprinkles or Oreo crumbs. And like adding a cherry on top, you can add mini macaron or a strawberry.

The inside is new and clean. There’s not a lot of seating area on the inside, but it’s still pretty popular in the evenings and people just stand around on the inside or outside of the store.

The service is good. I like how you order at the kiosk ordering station. They can take some time to make the takoyakis, but you can watch them make the takoyakis from behind the glass at the counter. Also since this place is so popular you sometimes have to wait for them to make your ice cream too, but I don’t mind the wait because their ice cream concoctions are worth it.

“A friend suggested this place to me yesterday so of course I had to pop in to check it out. I walked in and immediately noticed how clean it was. Not only was the owner there, but he was super friendly and told me and my daughter about how he makes the ice cream himself with the help of his wife. I really don't think I've tried creamier ice cream. Was VERY impressed with everything about this place and will be coming back with family and telling friends to go here as well!“

“I was in Newark heading to a client meeting and decided to stop by this spot. It has an old-school vibe but a great atmosphere. The place is run by an all-women team, and they recommended the Beacon Cheeseburger. I'm glad they did! The burger was cooked perfectly, as was the bacon, and the bread was just the right texture. If you're in the area and craving a good burger, this is definitely the place to go.

Stopped by for some gelato and was really impressed by the variety of flavors, especially the lactose-free (vegan) options. Got to try three samples, and all of them were smooth, flavorful, and well-balanced. It can be hard to find good dairy-free gelato, but they nailed the texture—creamy and satisfying without feeling icy or thin.

Service was friendly and efficient, and there was no long wait, making it an easy stop for a quick treat. The setting is nice, though more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and linger.

There is so much packed into one thing (pineapple, mango, orange, tamarindo straw, chammoy, tajin and squirt, and it is so delicious. Tart, sweet, sour, and most importantly, refreshing. “She is now located in front of Tere’s Boutique near the Chavez Supermarket by Middlefield Road.I love her raspados so much! I used to get them after church growing up. Her recipes are delicious and traditional. My favorite one is the raspado de Guanábana (soursop). It’s perfectly sweet and the pieces of fruit are delicious. I have also tried and liked her limon, rompope, vainilla, coco, nuez, mango con chile and chicle flavors.I recommend also trying their tostilocos with everything plus extra hot sauce. They are super delicious and a very generous size. Her fruit cups are also really good. The fruit is always perfectly ripe and fresh.Definitely recommend when you’re in Redwood City. All of the employees (except one who plays such obnoxious music that even I won't go inside the store) are exceptionally nice and helpful. Otherwise, the music played in very entertaining and appropriate. And they DO give samples! But not until after you buy, and they call it something else besides a sample. It's a sad fact that here in San Mateo there is NO good ice cream place, either Downtown or near Downtown. Perhaps Scoop could consider expanding northward (hoping they read this glowing review).“
