“A friend suggested this place to me yesterday so of course I had to pop in to check it out. I walked in and immediately noticed how clean it was. Not only was the owner there, but he was super friendly and told me and my daughter about how he makes the ice cream himself with the help of his wife. I really don't think I've tried creamier ice cream. Was VERY impressed with everything about this place and will be coming back with family and telling friends to go here as well!“

“I saw a worker from another place come back from break holding a churro. I had to ask where, this shop was two doors down. First I ordered the churro and then I saw the fun ice cream varieties. Settled on a refreshing soursop, it had seeds! My friend got a dried fruit and he said that grew on him. There are many other flavors to try next time. Service was nice, there are a couple of tables to sit and eat other snacks that they make as well. PS the churros were OK, crispy and sweet but the middle was not as crispy as fresh out of a fry vat in Mexico.“

Stopped by for some gelato and was really impressed by the variety of flavors, especially the lactose-free (vegan) options. Got to try three samples, and all of them were smooth, flavorful, and well-balanced. It can be hard to find good dairy-free gelato, but they nailed the texture—creamy and satisfying without feeling icy or thin.

Service was friendly and efficient, and there was no long wait, making it an easy stop for a quick treat. The setting is nice, though more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and linger.

“My boss always bought Romolo's for office parties, and the cannolis are always so good. So when my husband and I were planning an Italian feast for our wedding, Romolo's came to mind immediately. Over the course of a few months we came in to try different cookies and cannolis. The place is super cute and the staff is so nice.

Erin, one of the owners, was so helpful and we ended up doing a mix of cannolis and cookies. We ordered 50 cannolis and a few dozen cookies for 35 guests. There were maybe 5 cannolis left which one guest took home for their family.

Our families are Italian from NY and most of them said it was the best cannoli they've had outside of NY. (They can't say it's better than a NY cannoli - that would be treason.)

All the flavors were really nice and you could see real vanilla bean powder, nuts in the different flavors. Pepper did not stop licking till her icecream was done and then was looking for more. “The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They always find a way to accommodate a request even if it is last minute. For example they took care of me on Saturday when I needed a cake for my son's birthday party on Sunday without any complaints even though I was the one asking late. At the Santa Cruze Ave location in Menlo Park I was told that all I could so was choose from what was in the display fridge. Props to Carlos at the EPA location who even gave me his personal cell to make sure everything was seamless! And the cake was super yummy as well!!!“

They usually have 1-2 staff which can be under during busy hours but we generally go late in the evening when there is less traffic, so it’s prompt. There are plenty of ice cream cakes to go and a very cute guest seating arrangement.“
