Our favorite dishes are cold ramen,Korean Style Chanpon and fried rice, and on weekends, we always go for the free kid ramen. “Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.”

Always worth any wait but usually the wait is not unreasonable but usually no wait really at all. They take a vacation once a year for a couple a weeks and signage is posted. They have everything from milk teas to smoothies to a build your own favor option, and of course, they have some wonderful coffee options for the bean lovers out there. A mere ten minutes away from Knott’s Berry Farm and twenty minutes from Disneyland Park, Knottea Cafe is a great pitstop on your way for a fun day at the amusement park.”

Pho broth is good but I found the noodles to be a bit overdone. Would like them a bit more al dente. The “steak” is also a bit tough and I wish they wouldn’t bury it all on the bottom so it gets all cooked instead of being rare as advertised.

The inside is also HOT with no formal AC.

“I'm so used to getting rice that is room temperature at best. So I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl, and the first thing I notice is the rice is warm . . . like really warm. I also have a fear of really hot spicy food because it makes me sick. No problem here - the chicken was so delicious, and not "hot" spicy at all. Just a really great flavor. My friend ordered the same, and her reaction was the same. Great flavor, so tasty! The service was great too! But the very best part was the size of the serving - it was such a generous serving, I had to ask for a to-go container, and enjoyed it again later that day. The restaurant was light, bright and clean. I totally recommend this restaurant.”

I had king crab legs, mussels, and shrimp but they were all cooked just right. The portion was honestly more than enough and the staff are super friendly. They offered me new gloves after noticing that they had gotten dirty after a while!! The seafood is super good quality for sure but the sauce.. 🤤🤤 eating the sauce with just the rice and the sausages. If you’re around this area and looking for something to eat, I def recommend this place!!! You can always take out and freely make a mess at home while eating.”

I'll start by saying the food here is amazing! You can never go wrong with any choice. Somethings that aren't to great are the pricing as it might be a couple of bucks more expensive than other places as well as other peruvian places I have been to sometimes give complimentary bread and a small soup as here you would have to pay extra for that. The other downside is the parking is horrible, there is about maybe only 16 parking spots (estimating) but half are probably taken by the workers from neighboring stores. So sometimes I can't get a spot or I have to park across the street or elsewhere. Not their fault, but just a heads up about the location wise.”

“Been going here since the 80's yo! And the food still tastes the same! Comfort food at its finest,I love the little pieces of potato in the beef tacos and homemade salsa. They used to serve fresh chips with your order,but time and inflation changes things. The only other tidbit I wish they could improve on are the hours. They're only open to 5 during the week and 2 on weekends. They still make tamales thousand their delicioso!
