I ordered the three item bento with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, and a Crunchy Roll, and everything held up incredibly well by the time I got home. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with amazing flavor that perfect balance of savory, slightly sweet, and rich umami that really stands out. Every bite tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not rushed or generic like a lot of takeout spots.

What really impressed me was how both the flavor and texture stayed on point. The shrimp tempura had a clean, crispy crunch without any greasiness, and the Crunchy Roll was fresh, flavorful, and layered with great texture. Nothing got soggy thanks to the smart packaging, everything was separated and neatly put together. As someone who willingly admits that she’s not the biggest fan of boba teas, I fully admit that I sometimes forget that boba shops do in fact carry other types of drinks. Knottea Cafe in Stanton, CA is exactly one of those shops that makes sure to have a decent variety of beverages to meet any visitor’s needs. They have everything from milk teas to smoothies to a build your own favor option, and of course, they have some wonderful coffee options for the bean lovers out there. A mere ten minutes away from Knott’s Berry Farm and twenty minutes from Disneyland Park, Knottea Cafe is a great pitstop on your way for a fun day at the amusement park.”

“I'm so used to getting rice that is room temperature at best. So I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl, and the first thing I notice is the rice is warm . . . like really warm. I also have a fear of really hot spicy food because it makes me sick. No problem here - the chicken was so delicious, and not "hot" spicy at all. Just a really great flavor. My friend ordered the same, and her reaction was the same. Great flavor, so tasty! The service was great too! But the very best part was the size of the serving - it was such a generous serving, I had to ask for a to-go container, and enjoyed it again later that day. The restaurant was light, bright and clean. I totally recommend this restaurant.”

“First time discovering Rodeo 39, I ordered Chicken Katsu and Shrimp plates. The food was very tasty and well cooked with a side of delicious Katsu sauce for dipping. The Katsu had a little kick to it but not too spicy. The only disappointment was no vegetable offerings even as sides. I would have liked a side of vegetable tempura.
The chicken was cooked just right, great taste and juicy. Mine looked like breast meat unlike other reviews that said thighs.
It's probably possible to get vegetable sides from another place in the food court, we will definitely visit again to try others like Ramen or Hawaiian food.”

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.”

“First time here. You can sit on your own or wait until they give you the menus. It took a while to get attended and ordered a coke can. Took a bit for the drink to be given so the owner gave me another one for free for the waiting, The pho is a perfect size and the price was $13 for a regular one. I got the combination one which was amazing and used the sweet sauce given. Small business and sometimes they have live music.”

“Came here to get a crepe this morning and was really blown away by their excellent service.

I ordered a Monaco crepe minus the blue cheese (they were out of blue cheese so I wanted to swap with Brie). Soon after I ordered, I was informed they were also out of Brie. This was absolutely not an issue for me at all. Ideally they’d have them in stock but I understand stuff happens. I ended up with adding extra mozzarella.

When my crepe arrived they offered me a complimentary macaron/drink for the inconvenience. While I declined bc I already had a drink/sweets for the day, I really appreciate the kind gesture. I appreciate how the staff kept me informed despite how difficult it is to be a food service worker and deliver “bad” news to customers. I don’t believe it’s worth getting upset at people trying to do their jobs.

At the end of the day, I did genuinely enjoy my crepe no Brie, no blue cheese. And it’s because the crepe itself was really freshly made with simple ingredients. It was a nice large portion as well. I hope to go back to try a sweet crepe next time! And I’m glad they’re across the street from me basically.

They used to serve fresh chips with your order,but time and inflation changes things. The only other tidbit I wish they could improve on are the hours. They're only open to 5 during the week and 2 on weekends. They still make tamales thousand their delicioso!

“Always a 5 star experience every time I go & every time I order. I usually order my catering dishes here for our Church events & always call in advance. They get a 5 star because if you need a last minute dish to bring to an activity for a large number of people to feed, this place would provide what you need & take a same day catering call. I order 1 half tray for the beef & broccoli & 1 half tray orange chicken & half tray of chow mein. The greatest thing is their portion size and their orange chicken is soft & moist. It is not dry like other places. The ladies who work behind the counter are very pleasant. Please support these kinds of local businesses that are working hard to make a living instead of the franchise Panda Express. At Panda, they are super expensive & they give very little, for what you pay for.”
