“Came here to get a crepe this morning and was really blown away by their excellent service.

I ordered a Monaco crepe minus the blue cheese (they were out of blue cheese so I wanted to swap with Brie). Soon after I ordered, I was informed they were also out of Brie. This was absolutely not an issue for me at all. Ideally they’d have them in stock but I understand stuff happens. I ended up with adding extra mozzarella.

When my crepe arrived they offered me a complimentary macaron/drink for the inconvenience. While I declined bc I already had a drink/sweets for the day, I really appreciate the kind gesture. I appreciate how the staff kept me informed despite how difficult it is to be a food service worker and deliver “bad” news to customers. I don’t believe it’s worth getting upset at people trying to do their jobs.

At the end of the day, I did genuinely enjoy my crepe no Brie, no blue cheese. And it’s because the crepe itself was really freshly made with simple ingredients. It was a nice large portion as well. I hope to go back to try a sweet crepe next time! And I’m glad they’re across the street from me basically.

“I’m a huge fan of Boiling Crab but personally, the sauce and seasoning is much better here! It’s less salty and def more savory. I had king crab legs, mussels, and shrimp but they were all cooked just right. The portion was honestly more than enough and the staff are super friendly. They offered me new gloves after noticing that they had gotten dirty after a while!! The seafood is super good quality for sure but the sauce.. 🤤🤤 eating the sauce with just the rice and the sausages. If you’re around this area and looking for something to eat, I def recommend this place!!! You can always take out and freely make a mess at home while eating.”

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.”

“I'm so used to getting rice that is room temperature at best. So I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl, and the first thing I notice is the rice is warm . . . like really warm. I also have a fear of really hot spicy food because it makes me sick. No problem here - the chicken was so delicious, and not "hot" spicy at all. Just a really great flavor. My friend ordered the same, and her reaction was the same. Great flavor, so tasty! The service was great too! But the very best part was the size of the serving - it was such a generous serving, I had to ask for a to-go container, and enjoyed it again later that day. Took a bit for the drink to be given so the owner gave me another one for free for the waiting, The pho is a perfect size and the price was $13 for a regular one. I got the combination one which was amazing and used the sweet sauce given. Small business and sometimes they have live music.”

They used to serve fresh chips with your order,but time and inflation changes things. The only other tidbit I wish they could improve on are the hours. They're only open to 5 during the week and 2 on weekends. They still make tamales thousand their delicioso!

They get a 5 star because if you need a last minute dish to bring to an activity for a large number of people to feed, this place would provide what you need & take a same day catering call.
