“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. The drinks were also amazing—perfectly made, not too strong, just right. There was no wait when we arrived, and we were in and out within about an hour without ever feeling rushed. “Went there for the first time with three friends on a Saturday at noon. Sure, finding parking was a bit rough, but with people leaving with to go orders we found a great spot pretty quickly. Even though there was a line, it moved so fast & with so many great & friendly employees, ordering went very quickly. We found a table on the patio & the employees there were also very friendly & helpful. Food was delivered to us, exceptional, especially the potato balls. Sandwich on a croissant also delicious!!! Small selection of pastries, which are average, packaged protein bars and juice shots, and a few breakfast items on the menu. Will try one of those next time. “I saw their signs and decided to stop in. As someone allergic to gluten and living the low carb lifestyle I was excited to see what they had, but a little skeptical because deserts from most places are dry.

I decided to try the mini turtle Bundt cake and it was hands down the best dessert I’ve had in over a decade!! I was in absolute heaven and then to find out it was only 220 calories! The perfect snack!

“Worthy of a special trip! They took such care in their preparation. It’s not a glitzy place but the service was special. Counter order, lots of options. My wife and I stopped there as we were staying at the Hampton inn in the same area. I had a yellowtail roll along with tempura and my wife had the salmon. Vegetables were perfect presentation was spot on for casual dining and my roll was one of the best I’ve had. Perfect proportion of spicy tuna to yellowtail to rice. If I lived in the area I would go here at least once a week. Prices were also spot on and in many cases extremely reasonable. Bravo Kabuto!!! A special place!!“
