“I have been going here since before it was Jinky's. I am glad that Jinky's replaced the previous place. Their food, atmosphere inside and out, and menu is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I mainly go here for their turkey chili bowl and ice tea. Parking can be a little tricky, so pay attention to the signs. The people from the other businesses tend to confront you if you park in their spot.“

“Bostan by Grandma is all about attention to detail. The decor is immaculate, and the food presentation is equally beautiful.
The restaurant feels alive. No two tables are alike, every corner is decorated, and live flowers are all over.
The menu has a mix of traditional Armenian plates and Americanized offerings, along with an extensive coffee list.
And it really feels like everything here is meant to be shared. Not just because the portions are large, which they are, but because the presentation inspires conversation, whether it's from beauty or nostalgia. It really feels like popping into a long lost family member's house for a meal.“

“biscuits “sent from heaven” Keyshia Cole voice Stopped by John O’Groats for some pre archery lesson fuel. Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. So if you ever want to stop by there, hit me up beforehand and we can brunch together🫶🏼🍽️ this is the type of place I would have FOMO over“

“Brunch here is always a treat. I had the egg benedict, which was perfectly cooked, and their potato wedges are a must-try. The atmosphere is casual but lively, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The place tends to get busy on weekends, but it’s worth the wait.“

From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a True, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. No other establishment has ever provided fun toys & items of entertainment while waiting for our food. We thank Benjamin for that! Victor the GM checked on our table and made sure Kim our waitress was taking care of us! Kim was a fantastic server and we never once waited for a refill on anything. “My favorite gem in LA. Every time I’m sick, my boyfriend gets me matzah ball soup, and it really is magical Jewish penicillin. It always makes me feel better. I dream about the chocolate rugelach. “so i checked out rise n shine cafe recently, and it was pretty chill. the place has a cozy, casual vibe, good for a quick breakfast or brunch. i ordered some pancakes and coffee, and they were pretty tasty — nothing too fancy but quite satisfying. prices are reasonable, and the portions are decent. the staff was friendly and quick to take my order. it wasn’t too busy when i was there, so it felt relaxed. overall, if you’re looking for a laid-back spot to start your day with some good breakfast food, this place is worth a try. might come back if i’m around and craving a simple, tasty morning meal.“

“Enjoyed sitting outdoors with my daughter and two granddaughters after their Kaiser appointments. I had a very tasty Turkey Club sandwich with waffle fries, while my daughter enjoyed a great omelette and her kids had mini-Belgian waffles with sprinkles. Just Perfect!!“

“A calm and relaxing atmosphere for a nice sunny day. I would recommend the French Toast Special it has a nice touch with the blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. The Platter is also a very good choice with great portions. Although on one note, I do think the beverages like fountain drinks & orange juice have an above normal price of $4 each for a Pepsi and the Orange Juice I ordered.“

“Jeremy's Coffee Shop is a great place to stop and get great food at a fair price. The portions are large and taste very good. The service is excellent. Good child menu and daily specials. The coffee is good and hot. Paved parking lot and street parking is also permitted.“

“We wanted breakfast food and ordered the salmon bagel sandwich and breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and wait staff were very helpful and quick. The restaurant itself is a bit sparse but was comfortable to eat in.

“I've been meaning to stop by for months. This was a unique yet lovely experience.
Stand on line to place/pay for my order. Grabbed my number, took a few steps where I cured my coffee, needed additional napkins and my hot sauce. Next thing I know , this lovely plate was presented. Thanks to Hannah who was very helpful to me, while I decided my breakfast. I so enjoyed my meal. I didn't feel heavy.
In the middle of Toluca Lake, Sweet salt is a relaxing environment for solo eaters, get togethers and family dining. Stop by for lunch and dinner.“

“Got the veggie omelette today. Perfectly cooked. Very nice, fresh spring greens and country potatoes on side.
I come here also for the farfalle marinara: my kid's fav. Sauce is super, best we've had, she asks for this dish twice a month.
I have their pasta punch card for repeat customers. When I get a free small pasta I usually choose the penne aglio olio, a very nice snack, piping hot, fresh out the pan.
Quiet location, family vibe.

“IHOP is always a fun spot to take the kids when you’re ready for a sugar rush and stacks of fluffy pancakes. Honestly, I go there mostly because my kid wants to — and he loves it. For adults, the menu has plenty of solid breakfast and lunch options too. At this location I tried the egg white omelet, which was a healthy and tasty vegetarian pick.
It’s also worth noting that IHOP has been among the chains with the steepest menu price increases since 2020 (reportedly around +80%). Even so, the quality-to-price ratio stays fair, making it a reliable choice when you just need a casual meal that keeps everyone happy.“

“I'll let you into a little secret: this is where all the locals eat. Black, white, brown, Asian. English, Spanish, Patwa, Korean. Everybody loves Honeybees and if you eat here youll know why. Classic American dishes with a hint of Salvadorian flavor. I grew up in pico union so this place feels like home. They used to even put the hot chocolate in these beautiful mugs with a little bee on it but over time people broke them sadly. As I said, this is the hole-in-the-wall experience you're looking. Afterwards, a quick walk and you'll find a record store, independent fashion boutiques, and much more. Easily some of the best breakfast you can have on Adams maybe even all of LA.“
