“We recently hosted an event at Shubham Halls, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is convenient with plenty of parking, and the hall itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained! From the initial phone call with Arun to finalizing the menu with Manoj everything was organized really well which makes the planning and execution part of any event easier.
The staff was courteous and supportive during setup and teardown. They were flexible with our decor and seating arrangements, which helped a lot. The audio-visual equipment worked well, and the lighting created a warm, inviting atmosphere. They have pre-approved vendors for decor, cakes and other things which makes this truly a one stop shop for all your event needs!
Overall, I’d definitely recommend Shubham Halls for anyone looking for a clean, affordable venue in the heart of Sunnyvale.“

“This food truck is a hidden gem! The Volcano Biryani is a fiery masterpiece, with layers of flavors and a spicy kick. The fried rice and omelet base provide a comforting contrast. We also enjoyed the Peri Peri sandwich and the refreshing guava drink. The food truck itself has a cozy seating area and board games, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal."“

“We tried the prawn kebab, Schezwan fried rice, and surmai thali. The prawn kebab and fried rice were delicious, offering rich flavors that we thoroughly enjoyed. However, the surmai thali did not meet our expectations; the fish lacked freshness and had an unpleasant odor, and the accompanying curries were not good in taste. We also found the menu prices slightly higher than anticipated for the portion sizes.
The dining area was quite noisy, likely due to its compact size. On a positive note, the staff were attentive and efficient, ensuring we didn’t have to wait long for our meals. If you’re interested in exploring fish-based dishes, this restaurant could be worth considering.“

“Exceptional place!
It’s very hard to come by such well-run places these days. The food is absolutely fantastic as well as reasonably priced. They cater to all taste buds and even modify it if you ask.
Paul and other staff members know the definition of hospitality and put it into practice!
Also, unlike other Indian places, they use Olive Oil for their cooking which doesn’t make you uneasy after a big meal. For this very reason, most days, our post workout meal is at Maya’s Kitchen ????“

“Pav Bhaji & More is a good food truck overall.
Pav Bhaji: The Pav Bhaji is absolutely outstanding—rich, flavorful, and packed with authentic spices that hit all the right notes. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had and an absolute delight for anyone craving real street-style flavors.
Portion Size and Value: The portion size is shockingly small, especially given the pricing. It’s hard to overlook how inadequate the quantity is, which really impacts the overall value for money.
Service: The service is average. While the staff are polite, there’s room for improvement in terms of efficiency and attentiveness.
Ambience: For a food truck, the ambience is impressive. The seating area is clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable spot to enjoy your meal outdoors.
Overall, the Pav Bhaji is exceptional, but the portion size leaves much to be desired.
Vegetarian options: Tasty vegetarian food and options“

“During my recent visit to Ananda Bhavan, I ordered their uttappam and rava dosa. The uttappam was soft and generously topped with onions and chilies, offering a pleasant taste. The rava dosa was crisp with a subtle flavor, accompanied by sambar and chutneys that complemented the dish well.
While both items were enjoyable, they didn't quite capture the authentic flavors found in India. The dishes lacked the depth and richness characteristic of traditional South Indian cuisine. However, considering the challenges of sourcing authentic ingredients abroad, this is understandable.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of dosas and other South Indian specialties, making it a popular choice among locals. The ambiance is casual, and the service is efficient. Prices are slightly higher compared to other South Indian eateries in the area, but the quality is decent.“

“I've ordered food from Indian Kebabs n Wraps many times, and it's always been outstanding. I also used their catering service recently, and everyone couldn't stop raving about the food. The dishes, like Veg Korma, Paneer Butter Masala, Gobhi Manchurian, Chicken Biryani, Veg Biryani, Chicken Masala Tikka, chicken 65 and Chinese Samosa, were simply delicious and full of flavour with desserts like pista kulfi and mango mousse ice cream. The quality and service have consistently exceeded my expectations. Thank you for providing such an exceptional culinary experience.“

“We ordered Vijaywada Chicken Biryani and I must say it was delicious. As the name suggest , it was very spicy . I don’t generally eat this spicy but loved it . The real authentic biryani flavor with South Indian twist . Will definitely try again .
And the quantity was sufficient for 2 persons.“

“Unassuming little hole in the wall that can barely seat 8 but serves incredible food. I got the pesarattu upma and was delighted by the texture and the flavors. The upma was just right and the sambar and chutney were on point.
The poori was a bit on the dry side but the chole more than made up for it.
Unfortunately chai is still served with no sugar, but it made for a good ending. This will be on my favorites list!“

“I have known the owners since they started providing food from their home before opening the restaurant in 1995. The food quality has been consistent over the past 30+ years, & they have survived the economic ups and downs. Their goal is simple; to provide home style taste at an affordable price. There are barely 3 tables so it's very basic. But if you crave pure veg, fresh food that tastes like home, certainly recommend it. The owner Manoj Bhai and his wife Bhavika Ben are still working there to ensure we walk out with a satisfaction of a tasty and sumptuous meal. Cheers to this family for their consistency, humility and focus on customer service. It's hard to find these virtues at anaffordable price these days.“

“I have been in here often. The food is top notch. It's all vegetarian. The taste is very homely. The portion size for the thaali and other dishes is reasonable. One interesting thing is the bun samosa and chai combo everyday from 3 - 5 pm. The bun samosa makes me nostalgic.“

“The best puris in the Bay Area. This place has hands down the best puris to use for pani puri and are difference between average and great pani puri. They also have a small variety of other equally delicious fried snacks. The puris sell out pretty fast so make sure you get there early.
They only accept cash/Venmo(extra 5%).“

“Ate there for the first time last weekend. Did the lunch buffet. Completely blown away. Every single thing I put on my plate was amazing. The vegetarian dishes were as outstanding as the meat ones. I can't even single out 1 or 2 dishes as really good, since everything was so good. There is a really large variety of dishes. The desserts were also great, especially the 2 Andhra ones (Double ka Meetha and the sweet balls). Wish I had left more room for dessert! The buffet is very reasonably priced, just based on the food. The fact that it also includes red wine and beer blows my mind. Here's the biggest compliment: I live an hour away, and I'm going back this weekend! With a different friend. I should mention that I'm from India, and I got to eat authentic Andhra food in Hyderabad 4 years ago.“

“We ordered food from Spicy Tandoor for a party size of 12 adults plus kids. Manmeet guided me through the food options over the phone call, personally took care of the food and the timely delivery. We ended up getting amritsari kulche, daal makhani, and kadhai paneer. The food was of impeccable quality and taste. The amritsari kulche were just too delicious. Our guests kept talking about the food. And the best part was that the kids loved it too! Thanks Manmeet and team for making our event so memorable. We surely are going to come back soon!!“

“After eating biryani at various places across the Bay Area over the last 7 years I can confidently say that this is the most authentic Hyderabadi biryani you can get around here. The meat is so tender, and the flavors are perfect and very close to Sarvi or Bawarchi biryani from Hyderabad. Really hope they do well and stay in business for ever.“

“The crispy chilli baby corn was flavorful, though slightly too firm in texture. The pan-fried paneer complemented the veg fried rice beautifully. Speaking of which, the plain veg fried rice was the highlight—perfectly cooked and easily the best I’ve had in the Bay Area. The street-side veg noodles were decent, though the noodles were a bit overcooked. Overall, a solid Indian-Chinese spot with great service and a pleasant dine-in experience.“

“Ordered the Khadi Kachori and Bhel Puri — both tasted absolutely amazing!
To top it off, they served masala chai for free — such a thoughtful touch.
One of the best chaat spots in town for sure. Flavor, price, and service — all on point! 👌
Must try!“
