“Interesting assemble of items on the menu! Went for dinner mid week. Food was well made and had great flavor. The Chai flavor was warm and unusual with caraway. Tried the Indori Shikanji - and it turned out to be just the opposite of a shikanji I am used to, but it was a welcome sweet lassi with a generous helping of nuts and saffron flavoring, appropriately sweetened. The bhature were not oily- very impressive and choley was flavorful. The highlight was everything was fresh- even though ours was the last order of the day. They did not rush us… owner was warm and friendly! Will come back to try other specialities in the menu!“

Ordered food and snacks for a non profit event- Mr Arun and team delivered very fresh food (samosas, harabhara kebab, paneer pakoda, gulab jamoon) to a guest size of 500 people. It’s very hard to come by such well-run places these days. The food is absolutely fantastic as well as reasonably priced. They cater to all taste buds and even modify it if you ask.

Paul and other staff members know the definition of hospitality and put it into practice!

Also, unlike other Indian places, they use Olive Oil for their cooking which doesn’t make you uneasy after a big meal. For this very reason, most days, our post workout meal is at Maya’s Kitchen ????“

Pav Bhaji: The Pav Bhaji is absolutely outstanding—rich, flavorful, and packed with authentic spices that hit all the right notes. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had and an absolute delight for anyone craving real street-style flavors.

Portion Size and Value: The portion size is shockingly small, especially given the pricing. It’s hard to overlook how inadequate the quantity is, which really impacts the overall value for money.

Service: The service is average. While the staff are polite, there’s room for improvement in terms of efficiency and attentiveness.

“Its a hole in the wall type of place.. so if you're looking for homestyle food and the best service you can get.. this is the place you want be in. When you eat at someone's home, your host usually watches you diligently to make sure they are catering to you before you need to ask for something.. they try to anticipate your needs and offer it.. well, this is the place for that type of treatment!!
We were a group of 4.. but ordered MORE food than we can handle.. what did they do first? Take our order.. when the food seemed like it might fill up our table fast, they just casually came over and added an extension to our table.. so we can fit our food while we eat comfortably.. like WHAT? Most restaurants will think about keeping that table free for other guests.. It was not a quiet night either.
After that.. they saw how much we've eaten.. and say.. maybe you want chai instead of the chaas you ordered? We're like.. as a matter of fact.. you're right.. thats what feels good right now. 2 chai please.
As we're shamelessly packing it up, we missed asking boxes for a couple of items.. no no.. they observed.. and brought us extra boxes for those items.
As we walk away not wanting to ask for anything more.. they come over to hand us plastic bags so we're not going to mess up our cars.. no we did not ask for them.

Now.. this is what I call service and the food was AMAZING! We loved everything.. didn't leave anything behind.. I am still eating the portions we ordered and I cant wait to eat it again for dinner! YUMMY! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars for their service

“I can’t get enough of Quick Chaat food truck! Their Dabeli is absolutely delicious – the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy, and it tastes just like the Dabeli you’d find in Mumbai.

Their Cheese Toast Sandwich and Dahi Puri are total winners too – so flavorful and packed with that nostalgic India street food vibe. The people running the truck are super friendly, and they always get your order out quickly. Honestly, this is my go-to spot when I’m craving some amazing Indian street food. “The best puris in the Bay Area. This place has hands down the best puris to use for pani puri and are difference between average and great pani puri. They also have a small variety of other equally delicious fried snacks. The puris sell out pretty fast so make sure you get there early.

They only accept cash/Venmo(extra 5%).“

“Unassuming little hole in the wall that can barely seat 8 but serves incredible food. I got the pesarattu upma and was delighted by the texture and the flavors. The upma was just right and the sambar and chutney were on point.

The poori was a bit on the dry side but the chole more than made up for it.

Unfortunately chai is still served with no sugar, but it made for a good ending. This will be on my favorites list!“

“Chaat House has the cutest homely interior with old school TVs playing old Bollywood movies. You have a view of the cooks working hard in the kitchen and there is a very casual vibe. The cashiers and workers are really kind m, but they do not go above and beyond in any way. I usually get takeout of the rotis and a mango lassi. The prices for the rotis are quite cheap which I appreciate. $6.50 for 10 rotis. Talk about a deal! The rotis are soft and authentic, and this is quite visible when you first look at the roti. The rotis are of decent size and they remain fresh in their aluminum foil. For a delicious dessert I usually get a mango lassi as well. The mango lassi is a bit more expensive at $4 per drink. The mango lassi comes cold and tastes tart and fresh! OVERALL, the food for the price is very fresh and tasty, so I definitely recommend this joint to others as a causal place to dine. I will definitely be coming again when I get cravings for some refreshing mango lassi and soft roti!

I can't even single out 1 or 2 dishes as really good, since everything was so good. There is a really large variety of dishes. The desserts were also great, especially the 2 Andhra ones (Double ka Meetha and the sweet balls). Wish I had left more room for dessert! The buffet is very reasonably priced, just based on the food. The fact that it also includes red wine and beer blows my mind. Here's the biggest compliment: I live an hour away, and I'm going back this weekend! With a different friend. I should mention that I'm from India, and I got to eat authentic Andhra food in Hyderabad 4 years ago.“

The Dabeli served here is not too soicy however resembles the taste and flavor of the one served back home, with the toppings of fried sev, pomegranate seeds and spicy peanuts. Don't expect to be coddled by the staff. They are busy and it is your job to catch their eye to take advantage of the "unlimited thali". They do a fantastic job given they have to service the most challenging crowd - south indians (me included).
