“What a taste, Paramod bhaiyya! Tried the paneer peri peri sandwich and leela lasuni kheema, both were so tasty, truly finger-licking 🤌🏻
Quick suggestion: adding some ‘desi khaat’ seating outside would give proper food-truck dhaba vibes!“

“The highlight was food! We had a vegetarian buffet and food was really great which overshadowed some last minute delays and minor glitches. I would really recommend shubham halls if you want great food in your event. My suggestion would be to be in the venue atleast 2 hrs before the event to make sure the place is cleaned and decorated properly.“

“This place truly hits your cravings. The bhakri was really soft and fresh, and the fish curry felt so homely — it absolutely hit the spot. The fish was mouthwatering, perfectly spiced, and had a great crisp texture. The tomato curry was delicious as well.
We also got the prawn fry, and it was perfect. Honestly, it was a 10/10 experience. Too bad I was just visiting SF, otherwise I’d be coming here all the time!“

“Momos are delicious. 10/10. You cannot go wrong with any vegetarian momos. Be it steamed, baked in a tandoor, or saucy (Jhol).
Breads are well-made to perfection. Curry was good, nothing spectacular. I look forward to trying other curries.
The dine in experience was excruciating. We were offered the pappadam immediately after we were seated. We waited 30 minutes for the momos (appetizer) to arrive and another 40 minutes after we finished momos for the main course (1 curry & 2 naan).
While we patiently waited 60+ minutes in total for our food, there were plenty of to go orders slinging out of kitchen every 2-3 minutes. I suspect this restaurant prefers takeout (they also offer discounts for takeout if I remember correctly).“

“We discovered the place by accident and am glad we did. I had chhole bhature - they were savory and I loved them. Wife had seekh kabab wrap. She said it was the best she had in many years. Service by Jass was way above and beyond. Highly recommend..“

“Amazing food and service provided is top notch!! Aloo tikki & Malai Kofta is a must try here.
Rajan bhai(owner) gave us complimentary masala chai and it was very flavorful. I believe it’s the best you can get in the bay area.

“I came here to order a takeaway around 6.30ish.
I got spicy pav bhaji, and tried the new items a vada pav and the dabeli.
They hand a buzzer which will let you know when the order is ready.
The order was ready quickly.
The vada pav was very authentic with the dry chutney powder and the chillies. It was crispy and right amount of spicy.
The dabeli was tangy and sweet and the right combo with the crispy peanuts
The spicy amul pav bhaji was what brought me here.
The pav was loaded with butter and spices.
The bhaji was a bit large quantity and loaded with butter.
The bhaji has little heavy flavor to lavang/elaichi but was good overall.
Definitely gonna be back for the other new items“
“Came to the mall to waste some time, but I was hungry. I wanted something easy, healthy and quick. I spotted the decals on the window of chicken biryani and butter chicken and it made me pause. This is a small dine in with table service or carry out place. Family run and owner. I ordered the chicken biryani. I don’t like spicy so they did mild. It was absolutely delicious. I wish I had a bigger appetite so I could order more. I highly recommend! Good for kids too because you share the meals.“

“We have enjoyed Authentic Puran poli with Pure ghee, Modak and Kothimbir vadi, so many times, felt like home made dishes are served keeping the delicious taste unchanged.
Second time we took dine in experience too, which was quite satisfactory and relished the taste. Lunch thali was adequate, tasty but portion size of sweet served was very small.
Misal pav was quite tasty, kadhai paneer, bharli vangi had bhakri had authentic taste.
Its really enjoyable experience.“

“After a tiring vacation, this was exactly what we were looking for – a meal that feels homely yet festive, relaxing and soul-satisfying in every sense. Royal Thaali in Milpitas delivered just that, and then some! The bright and cheerful space was bustling with families and groups, all diving into their unlimited thalis with visible delight, and we were about to join that happy brigade.
What makes their thali special is how every element fits together like little pieces of a puzzle, each complementing the other so beautifully, or should I say, so tastefully. The meal began with a nicely churned and spiced buttermilk that arrived promptly, setting the tone for what was to come. As the server started filling all the little utensils on our plate, our appetite built up steadily, almost like watching a performance unfold before the main act.
The kala chana masala was a pleasant surprise – usually this dish comes devoid of any gravy, but here it had this thin, soup-like consistency that was lightly spiced and tasted incredibly refreshing. It paired beautifully with the accompanying kadhi, creating a harmony that was comforting and familiar. The dry paneer curry had that rustic, dhaba-like quality with minced tomatoes and onions that took me straight back to roadside eateries on highway trips.
But the show-stealer, hands down, was the aloo curry made with karela. Now, karela isn't everyone's favorite, me thinks, but the way they've incorporated it here offered a unique and pleasant bitter taste that elevated the entire dish. It was bold yet balanced, and honestly, I couldn't stop going back for more. The cabbage curry was as homely as it could be, the kind your grandmother would make on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
What really impressed me was the service – the ghee-laced phulkas and masala pooris kept coming to our table piping hot, even without us asking for them. The staff was attentive and the refills came just at the right time, making the entire experience nothing short of impeccable. There's something to be said about a restaurant where the service flows so seamlessly that you barely notice it happening.
And then came the desserts, which were truly the icing on the cake. The kheer arrived perfectly chilled, laced generously with kesar, and tasted phenomenal. Each spoonful was creamy, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweet. But what blew me away was the malai kalakand – easily the freshest I've had anywhere in the Bay Area. It was soft, milky, and had that melt-in-your-mouth quality that only comes from using the finest ingredients and making it fresh.
All in all, Royal Thaali is something you absolutely should not miss if you're in Milpitas and around.“

“We visited with friends and ordered Tandoori Veg Momo, Avocado Chaat, Garlic Naan, and Butter Chicken. The Tandoori Momo tasted rich and fresh. The Garlic Naan came soft and had a unique flavor. Everything arrived hot and well prepared. We plan to return soon with our office team.“

“1/24/2026
Tandoori Junction
698 W Dana St
Mountain View, CA 94041
We went for lunch on a Saturday, it's at the corner of Dana and Hope streets with parking on Hope and a city lot nearby.
It's a cozy clean table setup with more tables in a back room available. The menu may be limited compared to other places but it has all our favorites. We got the Garlic Naan, Lamb Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala; both spicy. The food took some time to bring out. Both curries were flavorfully spiced with generous amounts of protein and good heat. My Lamb was tender with no bones.
Yet another great Indian restaurant in MTV. We sat next to the kitchen and heard a lot of loud chopping. Good service, value, flavor and portions. Definitely repeatable.“

“Pav Bhaji & More is a good food truck overall.
Pav Bhaji: The Pav Bhaji is absolutely outstanding—rich, flavorful, and packed with authentic spices that hit all the right notes. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had and an absolute delight for anyone craving real street-style flavors.
Portion Size and Value: The portion size is shockingly small, especially given the pricing. It’s hard to overlook how inadequate the quantity is, which really impacts the overall value for money.
Service: The service is average. While the staff are polite, there’s room for improvement in terms of efficiency and attentiveness.
Ambience: For a food truck, the ambience is impressive. The seating area is clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable spot to enjoy your meal outdoors.
Overall, the Pav Bhaji is exceptional, but the portion size leaves much to be desired.
Vegetarian options: Tasty vegetarian food and options“

“Overall it was an excellent experience. We had the Sufi Kaju chicken (was good) and butter chicken (was good). For starters we got samosa (ok) and one of the mutton dishes (great). They gave us free chai which was a great touch.
The only wish is that I don’t think the garlic naan hit the spot. It was very basic, not very flavorful.“

“This is a reallly wholesome, family-run Indian vegetarian restaurant. For $18, they have a very tasty all you can eat buffet. They bring to your table some fresh made chapati too. There is a delicious lemon pudding for dessert and also always fresh fruit. If you want some good home cooking, this is the place.“
“We had a solid Indian lunch experience at Jashn in Santa Clara. Apps hit the spot - good size, taste, and texture. Main however could've used a bit more Thai curry like they described, but still tasted good. Portions felt a tad small for the price - would love bigger mains for a more sumptuous meal. Naan and tandoori roti were spot on. Will return, to try the rose kulfi live-prep Xp @ the table.“

The Amritsari naan was perfectly crisp outside and soft inside with authentic flavor, and the kadai chicken had a rich, bold masala that tasted just like classic Punjabi dhaba cooking.

“The momos are delicious. They were absolutely juicy, and the feeling was extremely well balanced, and they did not skimp on the quantity either. The chicken chow mein, on the other hand were below average. The quantity of chicken was less. The noodles were stuck together. The seasoning was lacking, and there were few vegetables then I like. I would skip the chow mein next time and just get the momos.“

“Hidden Gem for Indian Street Food in San Jose!
If you're craving authentic Indian flavors in San Jose, this small place inside SoFA Market is an absolute must-visit! I tried their Samosa Chaat, Veg Puff, Flavoured Golgappa, and of course, our classic Indian Masala Chai — and every single item was spot on and full of flavor. The taste, presentation, and freshness reminded me of home. It's a cozy little setup but delivers 5 out of 5 on taste and satisfaction. A perfect place to satisfy those desi street food cravings!“

“My first visit and it took me back to my time in Chennai. The service is fast and friendly. The menu is intense but they also have a “thali” which we ordered. Basically the one green veg item was the main deal rest was so so. The Rava … special ghee masala dosa was nice. All in all nice meal and pleasant ambiance. The manager was very pleasant and helpful as well. Price points are actually decent. Dinner for two with coffee about 50 bucks including tip.“
